Story
Meet Stinkalink! Stinkalink is a 8 year old Yorkshire Terrier mix who was pulled as part of “Angel Retreat’s ACCT’s of love” program. Stinkalink originally came in as a stray, after someone saw him limping in Philadelphia, which has since resolved. We got him the medical care he desperately needed including a dental and treatment for lyme disease, and he is now doing wonderful in his foster home! He is a sweet senior fellow who is just looking for a warm bed and a family to love! He has a mild heart murmur and arthritis, but this is nothing abnormal for a gentleman of his age. We do not know his past, but we do know he is a happy little guy who is confident and loves to be around people. As with all rescue dogs, they will need a family who is understanding and prepared to work through a period of transition with them as they learn to live in a house and around people. They will need time to trust their new family before working on training, such as house training. We require all our animals to be trained using positive reinforcement methods ONLY. If you are interested in being considered for them please apply on our website at www.angelsretreat.org 💕🐾

Story
This is Iroh, a young, laid-back buddy from a litter of three. He the firstborn and the biggest of the group. A hefty boy with a chill attitude. While he can be reactive at times, he's much calmer than his littermates and tends to lounge more than he barks. Iroh loves people that he gets to know, enjoys running around outside, and is great at chasing butterflies and playing catch. He whines for attention, but in a harmless, endearing way. He's used to being in a home with multiple dogs, but would thrive in a calmer environment. Partially house-trained, he knows to go potty outside but has occasional accidents due to being in a crowded dog home. I expect his transition into a new home to be smoother than his siblings. He's easygoing, affectionate, and ready for someone who can give him the love and consistency he deserves. Adoption fee is open for discussion.

Story
This is Appa (A-P-P-A), a young, high-energy pup from a litter of three. She’s the smallest, but also the most hyper and playful. Super loving and very attached & a classic velcro dog. Appa is from an accidental litter of three, in a home of five dogs. I raised all three of the litter from newborns. Appa is partially house-trained. She knows potty and does her business outside, but she still has accidents indoors, especially due to living in a busy home with other dogs. She can be quite reactive, likely from always being in a pack, so someone with experience handling reactive, high-energy small dogs would be a great match. She aims to please and is trainable. I am no longer living with them, so I couldn't keep up with all their training. Ideally adopted with her brother, Iroh, but she just needs someone patient and kind. We're open to discussing a doable adoption fee. She is sweet, loyal, and full of love. She just needs the right person to be her forever home.

Story
hi Honey, this happy boy is an approx. 4 year old yorkie mix. He was found as stray in Philadelphia and brought to the local animal control shelter. He is around 6 lbs. We are not sure how long Honey was alone but we know he came into the animal control very scared, nervous and matted. Thankfully, between the care he got at the original shelter and us, he has made a total 180 - he has turned into a social, friendly little guy that that is happy to see his volunteers. He is a pleasure to spend time with him and we know his future family will be very lucky to adopt him. He would need to meet any resident dogs. He will come neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and 4dx tested. He also had a dental. If you are serious about adoption, please fill out an adoption application on our website www.phoenixanimalrescue.com His adoption fee is $474. Story
"My name is Dior. I am a 2 year old spayed female Yorkie mix weighing about 14 pounds. I love to play with other small dogs and my foster mom says I am ok with cats too. I am very cute, and I think I am just about perfect, but my foster mom says I still need someone to help me work on my housebreaking skills. I love attention and going for walks. I really just want a new home - and I would love a secure fenced yard to play in. I can be a little shy when I first meet new people, so I may need a little time to get to know you. My foster mom also wanted you to know that I am quite an escape artist - especially when I see a door that is opening - even just a crack - and I'm very fast when I want to be, so please be careful and keep me safe. Love, Dior" Meet and greets for approved adopters will be by appointment.
