Story
Charlie is a sweet Akbash/Pyr mix, who is protective of his person, and has the typical Pyr attitude. He is fully vetted, heartworm negative and microchipped. He is approximately 3-4 years old and weighs 102 pounds. Charlie does well with the smaller dogs in the current foster home, though would probably do best as an only dog. Charley very much enjoys "working"...having something to do. Though we do not allow him to be an outdoor dog, he very much enjoys his time in the yard/sun. He loves going for walks, but is often scared of other unknown big dogs. Charlie is great with the cats in the current foster home, and absolutely LOVES men!!! If interested in Charlie, please fill out our foster or adoption application online: www.salvagedsoulspetrescue.org.

Story
Half Great Pyrenees and half Akbash, Mia is the best of two awesome livestock guardian breeds. Born to hardworking livestock guardian parents, they have inherited the intelligence, loyalty and gentle nature that make both breeds so beloved. While their parents take their jobs seriously, these puppies are looking for something just a tad different - a family of their own. They are being raised with plenty of love and socialization and are growing into confident, curious and affectionate youngsters.

Story
Chip is an 11-week-old Great Pyrenees mix puppy who is looking for a foster OR foster-to-adopt home while he finishes his vetting. He is currently in a foster home with his other two siblings, but they are ready to go their own ways and learn independence in a home of their own. Chip and his siblings were found abandoned in a field, and rescued by a kind samaritan. Chip is already making great progress on potty training for his age. Because these puppies were not treated kindly during the start of their life, they are a bit nervous in new spaces and still learning to trust people. Chip is the most submissive and shy one of his siblings, but his personality really shines once he’s comfortable. His current best friend is the child in his foster home. His current foster says he would love his own kid and describes Chip as "a sensitive soul". Chip would benefit from another dog in the home to play with and learn from, and, of course, he will also need someone dedicated to puppy training and puppy socialization. Chip has received his first round of vaccines and has been dewormed and microchipped. He will need his next round of vaccines in Keller, and final round of vaccines at our veterinarian in Arlington. 📍You MUST be local to DFW for vetting. ❌ No apartments, since they are potty training and still finishing out their vaccines. 🏡 These puppies are very young, and are not suitable to be left home alone 8+ hours at a time each day. PLEASE make sure to read the foster responsibilities prior to applying. If interested in foster only, fosters must be committed to fostering until the dog is adopted. Must be able to transport to our vet(s) for vaccines. Head to our website to learn more about our foster program and fill out a foster application (if interested in foster-to-adopt, please select that on your foster application): https://www.acesplacerescue.org/foster

Story
Meet Blackjack!🐾 This sweet Great Pyrenees mix pup is about 14 weeks old and looking for his forever home! He had a rough start. He was found abandoned in a field, but you’d never know it from his happy, playful spirit today. Blackjack is as soft and fluffy as he looks, and his personality is just as sweet. He’s gentle, a little goofy, and loves to play. He’s a smart boy who already knows how to sit and is doing great with house training. He will of course need continued consistency and training due to his age. Like most puppies, he’s also very food motivated, which makes training a breeze. Because he’s still young, he’s a blank slate ready to bond with his new family. He’d likely do wonderfully with other dogs, kids, and just about anyone willing to give him love. 💛 If you’re looking for a smart, gentle, fun loving pup to grow up alongside, Blackjack is your guy! Blackjack is not yet neutered do to his age, and will be adopted out with a neuter contract (included in adoption fee). Apply on our website: https://www.acesplacerescue.org/adoptionprocess
