Story
Cash has safely returned to TGPR through no fault of his own. His family loved him dearly, but due to a change in living arrangements and landlord restrictions on large dogs, they were no longer able to keep him. Born in April 2019 to a livestock guardian dog mom, Cash originally went by the name "Bruiser." While he spent time around goats and did just fine with them, it quickly became clear that his true passion in life was people. Given the choice between hanging out with the herd or soaking up attention from his humans, Cash chose humans every time! This handsome guy is friendly, affectionate, and enjoys making friends wherever he goes. He has the easygoing personality that makes him a wonderful companion and family member. If you're looking for a livestock guardian, Cash may not be your employee of the month. But if you're looking for a loyal best friend, couch companion, walking buddy, and all-around good boy, Cash is ready to apply for the position. As he enters the golden years of adulthood, Cash is hoping to find the forever family he deserves—one that will appreciate his sweet nature and love of people. Apply today at TGPR.org to meet Cash!

Story
Meet Jesse!Jesse is 6 years young and may be a little shy at first, but this sweet girl is truly a big softy at heart. Once she warms up, her gentle and loving nature shines through, and she forms a quiet, loyal bond with her people. Her previous owner shared that Jesse was an indoor dog, is housetrained, and already knows a few commands in both Spanish and English - what a smart girl! She loves going on walks and walks beautifully on a leash, staying calm and composed even when other dogs are barking. Jesse prefers a peaceful stroll right by your side. She has been around other dogs and may do well with a canine companion, though she would love to meet your dog first before heading home. Jesse has made it clear that she’s not a fan of those scary cats.Jesse was surrendered through no fault of her own, simply because her owner could no longer afford to care for a pet. With a little patience and kindness, she will blossom into a devoted, affectionate companion. If you’re looking for a quiet, loving best friend, Jesse may be the perfect match for you.
