Story
Cash has safely returned to TGPR through no fault of his own. His family loved him dearly, but due to a change in living arrangements and landlord restrictions on large dogs, they were no longer able to keep him. Born in April 2019 to a livestock guardian dog mom, Cash originally went by the name "Bruiser." While he spent time around goats and did just fine with them, it quickly became clear that his true passion in life was people. Given the choice between hanging out with the herd or soaking up attention from his humans, Cash chose humans every time! This handsome guy is friendly, affectionate, and enjoys making friends wherever he goes. He has the easygoing personality that makes him a wonderful companion and family member. If you're looking for a livestock guardian, Cash may not be your employee of the month. But if you're looking for a loyal best friend, couch companion, walking buddy, and all-around good boy, Cash is ready to apply for the position. As he enters the golden years of adulthood, Cash is hoping to find the forever family he deserves—one that will appreciate his sweet nature and love of people. Apply today at TGPR.org to meet Cash!

Story
No, you're not looking at a polar bear, you're looking at Gracie girl! After being the most amazing mama to her two adorable puppies, Gracie is officially ready for her turn to be spoiled and loved as your favorite cuddle bug. This gentle giant has the sweetest soul and a calm, easygoing spirit that makes her the perfect match for a relaxed home. Gracie is a low energy queen who believes life is best enjoyed in cozy naps, short strolls, and soaking up love from her people. After a quick walk (whichby the wayshe aces with zero pulling!), shell happily reward you with soft head nuzzles, those irresistible puppy dog eyes, and her signature lip smacks. She is crate trained and potty trained. She happily will come in the doggie door but you will have to encourage her to go out. She wants her air condition! At 3 years old and 72 pounds, this Great Pyrenees beauty is sweet with kids and has a soft spot for small dogs as they remind her of her babies! Shes a bit of an independent lady and would shine as the star of the show, but shed also do just fine with another chill, low-energy companion. Here is the history on sweet Gracie girl. She has been through a lot and has come out stronger and sweeter than ever! She has had at least one litter of puppies (all adopted). Her foster mom noticed she had a limp, so Mazies Mission x-rayed her, and what we found was horrifying. She has about a dozen bb pellets lodged in her leg! Someone shot this sweet girl. The pellets cannot be removed so she gets pain medication as needed and Mazies Mission coordinates physical therapy for her as needed, too. This sweet girl also had a painful eye condition that required surgery when she was initially rescued. Shes fully healed from her eye surgery and only needs occasional drops. And while an old injury may give her a slight limp now and then, it doesnt slow down her love for life (or naps!). Gracie isnt just a dog, shes your future best friend, your cozy couch companion, and your loyal shadow. Gracie is spayed, microchipped, fully vaccinated, and more than ready to find her forever family. Please reach out to us at Mazies Mission if you are interested in hearing more about her!
