Story
Cash has safely returned to TGPR through no fault of his own. His family loved him dearly, but due to a change in living arrangements and landlord restrictions on large dogs, they were no longer able to keep him. Born in April 2019 to a livestock guardian dog mom, Cash originally went by the name "Bruiser." While he spent time around goats and did just fine with them, it quickly became clear that his true passion in life was people. Given the choice between hanging out with the herd or soaking up attention from his humans, Cash chose humans every time! This handsome guy is friendly, affectionate, and enjoys making friends wherever he goes. He has the easygoing personality that makes him a wonderful companion and family member. If you're looking for a livestock guardian, Cash may not be your employee of the month. But if you're looking for a loyal best friend, couch companion, walking buddy, and all-around good boy, Cash is ready to apply for the position. As he enters the golden years of adulthood, Cash is hoping to find the forever family he deserves—one that will appreciate his sweet nature and love of people. Apply today at TGPR.org to meet Cash!

Story
Draxie — 2 Years Old, Male Draxie is a smart, eager-to-please boy who is ready to find his person! This handsome guy is very treat-motivated and loves learning new things—he already knows “sit” and is excited to keep building on his skills. He enjoys: Yard playtime Walks with his person Training sessions (he’s super food motivated!) He was non-reactive when meeting a dog at the gate, but a meet and greet is required if you have a dog On leash, he does well overall, but he does need some guidance when big delivery trucks go by—he gets very excited and wants to chase them, so continued leash training will help him shine. Draxie would thrive with someone who enjoys working with a smart, active dog and wants a fun companion to train and bond with   He is HW+, but you can foster to adopt , which means the dog stays with you until treatment is completed and they are cleared, at no extra cost to you. The dog comes off the adoption website once you are signed up for the foster to adopt program, or you can choose to go ahead and adopt, which at that point you are responsible for taking care of the treatment and the cost of the treatment   Call the shelter at 972-744-4480 or email AskRichardsonAnimalServices@cor.gov to learn more.     July 3, 2026, 10:12 pm
