Buddy is currently looking for a new home since his current owner is in declining health due to terminal illness. She has had Buddy since Nov 2022 where he was adopted from the Watauga Animal Shelter. Buddy is about 4 years old and he is very friendly, highly energetic and very smart. Buddy would probably due best with someone who is familiar with training dogs and can spend time with him so he can actually bond. No information on how well he does with young children but he currently lives with a kitten(young cat) , who he plays with a lot, and with an Australian cattle dog. Buddy is currently up to date on all of his shots and is currently taking HW preventative medication. He has been chipped and has already been altered. Ideal place would include large yard and possibly put to work as his breed was intended. Thank you for considering Buddy to be part of your family.

Charlie is a sweet Akbash/Pyr mix, who is protective of his person, and has the typical Pyr attitude. He is fully vetted, heartworm negative and microchipped. He is approximately 3-4 years old and weighs 102 pounds. Charlie does well with the smaller dogs in the current foster home, though would probably do best as an only dog. Charley very much enjoys "working"...having something to do. Though we do not allow him to be an outdoor dog, he very much enjoys his time in the yard/sun. He loves going for walks, but is often scared of other unknown big dogs. Charlie is great with the cats in the current foster home, and absolutely LOVES men!!! He lives with dogs of all sizes and ages and gets along with everyone, but he is not fond of cats. Unlike some members of his breed, Kevin does not require a job other than loving his family and friends; he enjoys being a house dog when he is not outside playing with his friends or spending time with his humans.
