Story
Cash has safely returned to TGPR through no fault of his own. His family loved him dearly, but due to a change in living arrangements and landlord restrictions on large dogs, they were no longer able to keep him. Born in April 2019 to a livestock guardian dog mom, Cash originally went by the name "Bruiser." While he spent time around goats and did just fine with them, it quickly became clear that his true passion in life was people. Given the choice between hanging out with the herd or soaking up attention from his humans, Cash chose humans every time! This handsome guy is friendly, affectionate, and enjoys making friends wherever he goes. He has the easygoing personality that makes him a wonderful companion and family member. If you're looking for a livestock guardian, Cash may not be your employee of the month. But if you're looking for a loyal best friend, couch companion, walking buddy, and all-around good boy, Cash is ready to apply for the position. As he enters the golden years of adulthood, Cash is hoping to find the forever family he deserves—one that will appreciate his sweet nature and love of people. Apply today at TGPR.org to meet Cash!

Story
Winter is a 6-year-old spayed female Great Pyrenees/Australian Shepherd mix with a gorgeous golden and white fluffy coat, soulful eyes, and the cutest floppy ears you`ve ever seen. This sweet girl is the definition of gentle and is looking for a family who appreciates the quieter things in life.Winter has a calm, easygoing personality and prefers to take life at her own pace. She enjoys leisurely exploring her surroundings before happily returning to her favorite place—right next to her people. If you`re willing to provide back scratches and belly rubs, you`ll quickly earn a devoted best friend. She loves affection and will often lean against you while soaking up every bit of attention. This mellow lady already knows how to sit and offer her paw, proving that even seasoned dogs can have a few tricks up their sleeve. Winter enjoys spending time outdoors and loves basking in the sunshine, but she can overheat easily and doesn`t seem to enjoy hot weather for long periods. She`ll need a mindful owner who can help keep her cool and comfortable, especially during the Texas summer.Winter appears to be dog-friendly, but as with all shelter pets, a meet and greet is required with any resident dogs. Her relaxed demeanor suggests she may do well in either an apartment or a house, provided she gets regular walks and quality time with her family. She has also shown no signs of being destructive, keeping both her toys and bedding in great condition.Like many fluffy breeds, Winter will need regular grooming to keep her beautiful coat looking its best. In return, she`ll reward you with unconditional love, gentle companionship, and plenty of sweet moments spent by your side.If you`re searching for a loyal, laid-back companion who wants nothing more than a comfortable place to relax and someone to love, Winter may be the perfect match for you.
