Story
Hi, I’m Rian 💛I’m a 5-year-old boy, a Malamute–Husky mix, and I weigh about 23kg.I know… I look big and strong, maybe even a little cool. But if you get to know me, you’ll see—I’m actually just a big softie.I really, really love people.Even if we’ve just met, I might come right up to you like,“Hi… can we be friends?”I love being close to my person.Spending time together, making eye contact, sharing quiet moments…that’s what makes me feel safe and happy.Once I open my heart, I become very affectionate.I’ll want to stay near you, lean into you, and just be by your side as much as I can.I get along well with other dogs too!I have a gentle nature and enjoy playing, whether it’s with toys or with friends.I’m a bright, cheerful boy who just enjoys life and companionship.I was rescued from a place where my time was almost over…but I didn’t lose my trust in people.I still believe in love, and I’m still reaching out for it.I’m also a pretty quick learner! If you teach me with patience and consistency, I’ll do my best to understand and follow along.Because of my Malamute and Husky side, I do have lots of energy.I’ll need regular walks, exercise, and time to really let that energy out.A quick walk won’t always be enough—I’d love a family who enjoys being active with me.I can also have a little independent streak (maybe just a tiny bit stubborn sometimes… 😊),so I’ll need someone who can guide me with calm, steady leadership.Living in a home might be new for me,so I’ll need to learn things like house routines and potty habits from the beginning. But if you’re patient with me, I know I can become an amazing companion.I’m already ready to love someone with my whole heart. All I need now…is someone who will accept me, guide me,and stay with me for life. Will you be my person? 💛

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. This is TILLY, a cute female Alaskan Malamute who is eagerly looking for her furever home. She may be a mixed breed, but has the malamute mask, brown eyes and big paws. Tilly is the leader of their little pack. Loves to run, climb play, but can be short tempered. Easy to train and funny like her sister. Loves to give snuggles and kisses but quickly runs off to play. Loves to jump and play chase. Likes to be close to you when you sit. Very sweet. She is leash trained but only if you go where she wants to go. Knows to sit and wait for treats versus grabbing for them.  She is c rate trained and on her way to being potty trained. She has very few accidents anymore and will try to let you know when she needs to go out Tilly and her litter mates were recently found in Eastern Washington.  They were rescued and brought into foster homes where they are beginning their puppy training.  Unfortuantely, someone docked their tails but otherwise they are healthy, happy and full of energy. She will have all her vaccinations, is already altered and ready for a new home soon. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet SHASTA, a beautiful Malamute mix with a bright spirit and an adventurous heart. She’s an active, outdoors‑loving girl who thrives on long walks, hikes, and any chance to explore the world with her people. If you’re someone who loves fresh air, movement, and a loyal companion by your side, she’ll fit right in. Shasta gets along wonderfully with other dogs and she’s been exposed to a wide variety of animals. She does well with cats, chickens, ducks, pigs, and even a goose. The only animals she struggles with are rabbits, so a rabbit‑free home is important. She’s crate trained, walks nicely on leash, and knows a great set of commands, including: Sit, Wait, Load up, Okay (her release word), Leave it, Cross (she waits for permission to cross the road), Paw, High Five and Get it. Her recall still needs work, so she should remain on leash during outdoor adventures for now. With consistency and patience, she’ll continue to grow. Shasta will do best in a home with older kids or no kids, simply because her energy and enthusiasm are better suited to a more mature household. She’s an ideal match for outdoorsy people who enjoy staying active and want a dog who can keep up. Most importantly, she’s looking for people with lots of love to give—because she has plenty to give back. Shasta is ready for a life full of adventure, companionship, and affection. If you’re looking for a loyal, energetic partner to share your days with, she might be the perfect fit.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.May 11, 2026, 9:04 pm

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Odyssey — The Big, Goofy Malamute With an Even Bigger Heart If you love a dog with personality, presence, and a whole lot of charm, Odyssey is ready to win you over. This big, smiley Malamute is the definition of a gentle giant—affectionate, goofy, and absolutely devoted to the people he loves. Odyssey is known for his escape‑artist theatrics and his playful “catch me if you can” routine, but his oversized ears always give him away. He may try to act sneaky, but he’s far too endearing to pull it off. Because he’s clever and curious, he’ll need a secure 6‑foot fenced yard to keep his adventures safe and contained. What Odyssey loves most is attention. Leaning into you for affection, rolling over for belly rubs, and staring at you with the most loving (and sometimes hilariously awkward) gaze—these are his specialties. Despite his size, he’s a total sweetheart who just wants to be close to his people. Watch him run and you’ll see those big ears bounce in every direction, perfectly matching his joyful, slightly clumsy energy. Whether he’s joining you for a long walk or romping around the yard, Odyssey brings fun and enthusiasm to everything he does. Odyssey is the perfect match for a family who: Has a secure 6‑foot fenced yard Enjoys an energetic, playful companion Appreciates a dog who is both goofy and deeply affectionate Wants a larger‑than‑life personality who will always keep them smiling Life with Odyssey means laughter, love, and a whole lot of Malamute charm. If you’re looking for a big sweetie who will fill your days with joy, Odyssey is ready to be your new best friend.    Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.May 11, 2026, 9:04 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.  Meet Zeus — A Big‑Hearted Boy Looking for His Next Great Adventure Some dogs leave pawprints on your heart the moment you meet them — Zeus is one of those dogs. This handsome Malamute/Husky mix didn’t end up looking for a new home because of anything he did. His owner, who adored him deeply, faced an unexpected change in living circumstances and made the heartbreaking decision to let him go so he could continue living the active, joyful life he deserves. She describes him as a “total lovebug,” and it’s clear she wants nothing more than for him to find a family who will cherish him just as much as she has. A Daily Life Filled With Fun, Activity, and Connection Zeus is used to living life to the fullest. His days were spent: Going on energizing morning runs Visiting dog parks and making new friends Playing in the backyard Practicing training exercises (with a little Mal/Husky-style attitude sprinkled in) He thrives with people who enjoy being outdoors, staying active, and including their dog in their daily adventures. If you’re looking for a companion who will happily join you on hikes, runs, or weekend outings, Zeus is your guy. A Social Butterfly With a Gentle Heart One of Zeus’s most endearing traits is how much he loves meeting people. He’ll walk right up, nuzzle into you, and politely ask for pets with those big, expressive eyes. He’s affectionate, loyal, and eager to bond with his humans. With other dogs, Zeus is generally a friendly, respectful companion. He especially loves female dogs and will often roll onto his back to show submission — a sweet, goofy gesture that fits his personality perfectly. With neutered males, he may need a little time to warm up, but with proper introductions he does just fine. A Dog With Quirks That Make Him Even More Lovable Zeus has a few adorable quirks that make him unforgettable: He loves cat toys — not to destroy, but to care for. He treats them like his babies and carries them around gently. He’s a tug-of-war champion — when it comes to playtime, that’s his game of choice. He knows tons of commands — sit, lay, speak, paw, recall, up, down, drop it, and stay. He also knows how to negotiate — Zeus is smart enough to understand commands, but he’s also a Malamute/Husky… which means he sometimes prefers to perform them only when a treat sweetens the deal. His intelligence, combined with his playful stubbornness, makes him both entertaining and rewarding to train. What Zeus Is Looking For Zeus will thrive with a family who: Enjoys an active lifestyle Wants a dog who’s affectionate, social, and deeply loyal Can continue his training and keep his mind engaged Appreciates a dog with personality, humor, and heart Has the time and space to give him the life he’s used to He’s not just looking for a home — he’s looking for a partnership, a family, and a place where he can be his joyful, loving self. Zeus Is Ready to Start His Next Chapter If you’ve been dreaming of a dog who will run with you in the morning, cuddle with you in the evening, and make you laugh every single day, Zeus might be the perfect match. He’s a big-hearted Mal/Husky with endless love to give, and he’s ready to share it with someone who will treasure him just as much as his former owner did. Zeus isn’t just a dog — he’s a companion, a character, and a loyal friend waiting for his next adventure.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.May 11, 2026, 9:04 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. YUKON has been making huge strides in his socialization journey. This boy has transformed from a shy, laid‑back loner into a playful, outgoing goofball—with just enough dignity in his posture to make him look almost regal. YUKON has officially shed his “Mr. Shy Guy” persona. Not only has he found his confidence… he’s also found his voice. And trust us—it’s a big one! His joyful barks echo his newfound boldness, and we couldn’t be prouder of how far he’s come. Watching YUKON blossom has been an absolute joy, and we’re so excited to see him continue stepping into the wonderful dog he was always meant to be. We recommend that Yukon be adopted with his buddy Kit. Yukon and Kit are two very different personalities who fit together perfectly. Their bond has grown stronger with every passing day, and it’s clear they bring out the best in each other.  Yukon and Kit balance each other beautifully. Yukon’s calm, steady presence helps ground Kit’s whirlwind energy. Kit’s playful spirit encourages Yukon to come out of his shell and enjoy life. They play together, learn together, and find comfort in each other’s company. Separating them would mean undoing the emotional progress they’ve made side by side. Together, they’re confident, joyful, and thriving. The adoption fee would be $750 for both of them.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.May 11, 2026, 9:04 pm

Story
Looking for a soul dog for the quiet adventures — forest bathing, weekend camping, and everything in between?Meet Max: Three Legs, One Big HeartHi, I’m Max, a 5 year old, 60 lb Husky who’s living proof that you don’t need four legs to live your best life.My story starts in Lebanon, where I was found with gunshot wounds so severe my leg had to be amputated. I was alone, in pain, and had been through more than any dog should ever endure. An incredible team of animal rescuers found me, refused to give up on me, and fought hard to get me every bit of care I needed - multiple surgeries, treatment for blood parasites, and so much more. That journey brought me all the way here, and I’ve never looked back.I lost one of my legs, but honestly? You’d barely know it. I hike, I explore, I roam — and I do it all at an easy, unhurried pace that makes every outing feel like a good idea. I’ve also been doing good off-leash lately, which makes adventures with me that much more fun.I’m independent, easygoing. I don’t require constant entertainment or attention. I’m happy just being with you, whether that’s trotting alongside you on a leisurely hike, joining you on a camping trip, and quietly hanging out beside you at home after my sniff walk. With people, I am pure sweetness. I love being petted, I’m super treat-motivated, and I’ll reward your patience with so much loyalty. I do best in a home with a yard where I can wander and sniff around. Apartment life may not be a good option for me.A note about mealtimes - I like my food to be mine. A home where dogs are separated during mealtimes and food or resources aren’t left lying around is exactly the kind of setup where I thrive. Simple management, no drama. If you’re someone who enjoys having an independent soul dog, loves getting out in the outdoors, and wants a one-of-a-kind adventure buddy, I think we’d make a pretty great team.Three legs. Zero limits. All heart. 🐾If you’d like to make me family, reach out to my rescue PawesomeBaby!———————————————Max will be arriving the Pacific Northwest end of May. Please contact us to meet him and adopt him when he arrives. He’s adoptable in WA, BC and AK.For Alaska adoptions, we cover the transportation. You only have to pay adoption fees, and offer the loving forever family he can count on!Check out the Instagram story highlights at @PawesomeBaby for more pictures and videos. ———————————————Age: 4 yrs 9 monthsSex: Male, neutered Vaccination: current on core vaccines. Heartworm negative.Special needs husky with three legs.———————————————Thank you for choosing to adopt a rescue dog! God bless!
