Hi, I'm Blue!🩵I've got the soft, gorgeous silver-gray coat and brilliant blue eyes, though one eye is healing from an old ulcer and I've got a specialist helping me out. But it's my personality that really stands out. I'm told I'm the sweetest, most joyful girl around, with a big heart that everyone who meets me can't resist!I was found dumped on the streets of Beirut in the summer of 2022, shaved and left to fend for myself. I was battling anemia from an infection that nearly took my life. A kind lady in Lebanon found me just in time and treated me back to health. Since then, I've been waiting at a boarding shelter for someone to give me a chance.Nobody wanted an active and furry husky like me. Years went by, and I got older at the shelter, still waiting for my turn. Along the way, I also had a mastectomy, done as a precaution after they found a fluid-filled abscess in my chest. Given my age, it felt like the safer, more practical choice.After years of waiting, the pawesome team at PawesomeBaby Rescue learned about me and decided they weren't going to let me be forgotten. They brought me to the Pacific Northwest to find me a family who'll cherish me for who I am.I'm now around 9 to 10 years old. I'm not very needy, and I appreciate the simple adventures in life. What I really want is a family to call my own, so I can spend my golden years being spoiled rotten the husky way, exploring the outdoors instead of living in a kennel.I'm the sweetest girl you'll meet. I get along great with my foster sister, I did well at the dog park, and I'm a wonderful trivia night companion. I may not know the answers, but I'm excellent company. I love hikes, exploring, playing, and being around people, including kids. I have done well with other dogs I’ve met at the dog parks, mostly interested in just sniffing quickly and go about meeting people. I haven't met any cats yet, so we're not sure how I'd feel about them.I've been through more than most dogs ever will, but I'm still full of life and love to give.
