Story
Meet Elias, a striking 2-year-old Alaskan Malamute weighing in at an impressive 93 pounds of fluff, charm, and personality. Elias is very friendly and enjoys being around people, greeting the world with that classic northern-dog confidence. True to his husky roots, he has opinions of his own—if he doesn’t want to go somewhere, he may plant himself or have a brief “meltdown” to make his feelings known. He’s also not a fan of being confined and can be a bit of a picky eater, so he’ll do best with someone who understands and appreciates the independent nature of the breed. On the bright side, Elias walks beautifully on leash, loves to play ball, and has shown himself to be friendly with other dogs. He’s active, engaging, and happiest when he has space to move and a person who can laugh at his dramatic moments while providing structure and patience. With the right home—one that embraces his quirks as part of his charm—Elias will be a loyal, fun-loving companion ready to adventure by your side. The dog adoption fee is $90. They come spayed/neutered, microchipped, first set of vaccines including DAPP (parvo combo), Bordatella (kennel cough), have been dewormed with Pyrantel, and have been treated with selamectin for fleas. Our website updates every hour, but some animals may be adopted faster than we can get them updated online. If you`d like to check on the status of an animal, please call us at 360-352-2510. Story
Meet Lola — a 3-year-old, 66-lb fluffy, drop-dead gorgeous gray/tan/white Malamute babe who looks like she stepped straight out of a shampoo commercial and into your heart. Lola is the kind of girl who runs right up to you with kisses, loose happy vibes, and zero hesitation about making new friends. She’s curious, sweet, and serves extremely cute head tilts when she hears something interesting (which is honestly most things). She was calm and cooperative for all her intake care, happily exploring and soaking in the world around her like the soft-spoken explorer she is.True to her name, Lola is gentle, a little sensitive (she can be head shy), and much prefers cozy over chaos. Loud vehicles? Not her jam. Snuggling up in a calm home where she can relax, decompress, and fully blossom? Absolutely yes. She’s been pretty quiet in the shelter, but don’t let that fool you — this girl is clearly meant to be someone’s gorgeous sidekick, living her best “whatever Lola wants” life on a comfy couch instead of a kennel. If you’re looking for a sweet, fluffy soulmate with movie-star looks and a tender heart, Lola is ready to come home and get cozy with you!The dog adoption fee is $90. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. POOF made the long journey from Oregon to Malley Valley like an absolute champ—he snoozed peacefully in the car and even rested his head sweetly on the driver’s shoulder along the way. Once he arrived, he greeted the volunteers with pure joy, soaking up every bit of attention. This boy has big happy&#226&#128&#145dog energy. He loves to zoom around the yard and toss his toys into the air like his own personal celebration. POOF also comes with some great basics already under his belt—he knows sit, shake, lie down, and he’s a pro at catching treats mid&#226&#128&#145air. When meeting the other Malley Valley dogs through the fence, he’s been calm, relaxed, and unbothered by their barking. For a newcomer, he’s showing all the signs of being an easygoing, lovable companion. POOF is still settling in, but he’s already proving to be a wonderful dog who’s ready to find his forever family. We’ll keep sharing updates as we learn more about this sweet guy. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.December 29, 2025, 9:09 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Pup of the Week goes to YUKON , who has been making huge strides in his socialization journey these past few days! This boy has transformed from a shy, laid&#226&#128&#145back loner into a playful, outgoing goofball—with just enough dignity in his posture to make him look almost regal. YUKON has officially shed his “Mr. Shy Guy” persona. Not only has he found his confidence… he’s also found his voice. And trust us—it’s a big one! His joyful barks echo his newfound boldness, and we couldn’t be prouder of how far he’s come. Watching YUKON blossom has been an absolute joy, and we’re so excited to see him continue stepping into the wonderful dog he was always meant to be.
