Hi, my name is Inot and I would love to meet you. I have been at the shelter since Jul 02, 2024. If I could have the perfect day, it would involve a casual stroll with you, overseeing meal prep in the kitchen, and then curling up at your feet. I’m the perfect little shadow! I want to be where you are, do what you’re doing, and be the perfect companion.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Interested in adopting? See our adoption process. KANGA  thrives on adventure and would love an active adopter who will take him on adventures and give him plenty of play time! Kanga is a loyal guy and will be a great companion for someone. He LOVES the snow in the winter and to swim in the summer.  His number one favorite activity (even more than walks and treats) is going for car rides! He likes feeling the wind in his face through an open window (car surfing). Kanga is incredibly observant and curious. Kanga’s comfort with people has grown significantly while in rescue. He does need a little time to build trust, but eventually he will follow you around and give you kisses! He is also quite affectionate and loyal to those he bonds with. Kanga has excellent house manners and is happy to chill on his bed or lay beside you as you work. He has basic training and knows: sit, down, come, get it, stay, and release and is ready for the next level of training. He is very treat motivated and responds well to a clicker. Kanga just needs to know you can be counted on to pay attention to his physical cues when he’s feeling overwhelmed. Kanga would do best in a home setting with a secure yard and would prefer to be your only pet. He might do well with savvy teens as long as they are aware of Kanga’s “dog language” and can give him space when he needs it.  Are you the active, patient, forever home that Kanga is seeking? Kanga is currently enjoying the amenities of our Malley Valley doggie resort.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.July 17, 2024, 5:35 pm
