Free Puppy to a Good Home!! Very sweet 6 month old Malamute/Heeler/Lab mix needs a good home. Needs neutering, inoculations, and potty training etc. Good with other dogs, cats, and kids as long as they are not mean to him. :) We were fostering to adopt out to a loving home with people who will walk him daily and give him plenty of socialization. :)

Story
My husband and I were able to rescue him from an owner who kept him in a crate for 8.5 hours a day and when he was let out, could only pee or poop in the apartment. He was never walked and the owner did not have the money for his inoculations or getting him fixed. While we able to take him from a terrible owner situation, we cannot keep the dog ourselves, and are desperate to find him a good loving home with people who will get him plenty of socialization and excersise!

Story
Hi! My name is Duke and I am available for adoption.I was brought in by a good Samaritan on 01/30/24I weigh 76.0 lbs and am considered a `large breed` dog.I am a very smart dog! At the shelter I am practicing how to `sit` and `come`I am an independent dog who likes to do my own thing! I am full of energy and I love to play! I tend to calm down more when the people around me stay calm. I do best when I have lots of exercise and something to keep my mind busy. I walk pretty well on leash, and respond appropriately to gentle corrections. My personality color is RED. I am an adaptable dog with a fun-loving personality! I am still working on my manners, so I would do best with a family who is willing to work with me and help me become the best dog I can be!I`m a Playgroup Pal! Ask the staff today about my interactions with other dogs at the shelter in our Playgroups. My caregivers have observed that I might not get along with other dogs unless properly matched with the right dog. I may do best as the only dog in my new home, or I will need a very slow introduction to other dogs with lots of positive experiences.

Click the button to download the adoption application. The application is a form-fillable pdf. Fill out the form, save it to your hard drive, then email back to sian@gingerspetrescue.org Hi!  My name is Akira from Korea and I am a wonderful approximately 4 year old female Malamute.  I am approximately 55 lbs. and so excited to find my new forever home.  I am very happy, super affectionate, loving, and friendly.  l was saved from a Korean  slaughter house.  I don’t know how I ended up there but I was so scared and I used to hear the cries from the other dogs.  The activists came and saved us and I can't wait to come to America and find a family to love and care for me forever.  Approximately over a million dogs a year are slaughtered to be eaten.  I am so lucky to get a one-way ticket to Seattle to find my new family.  Take me on car rides, walks in the park, and I will become your best friend.  I get along well with people of all ages, gentle kids, and other dogs.  I will do best with a loving family that can give me lots of love, and affection!  On all overseas adoption, we highly recommend our pet rescue dog trainer who will come to your home and help train your new pup.  My adoption fee of $1,895 will cover my spay/neuter, DA2PP shots, Rabies, Bordetella, Deworm, Heart Worm Test, Microchip, Boarding Fees, Health Certificate and airline transport cost from Korea to Seattle.   A GPS tracker or Apple AirTag is required for all adopted dogs. You can bring your own when adopting or you can purchase an AirTag from us.  We cannot guarantee breed or age. The adoption fee is firm and helps save the life of another dog needing rescue and our other dogs in need of medical care.  Donations are always appreciated to help pay down our vet bills at Greenwood Vet.  Ginger's Pet Rescue is a non-profit 501C-3 organization.   The adoption fee is donated to the rescue and is tax deductible.   Please e-mail  admin@gingerspetrescue.org  for an adoption application. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Interested in adopting? See our adoption process. KANGA  thrives on adventure and would love an active adopter who will take him on adventures and give him plenty of play time! Kanga is a loyal guy and will be a great companion for someone. He LOVES the snow in the winter and to swim in the summer.  His number one favorite activity (even more than walks and treats) is going for car rides! He likes feeling the wind in his face through an open window (car surfing). Kanga is incredibly observant and curious. Kanga’s comfort with people has grown significantly while in rescue. He does need a little time to build trust, but eventually he will follow you around and give you kisses! He is also quite affectionate and loyal to those he bonds with. Kanga has excellent house manners and is happy to chill on his bed or lay beside you as you work. He has basic training and knows: sit, down, come, get it, stay, and release and is ready for the next level of training. He is very treat motivated and responds well to a clicker. Kanga just needs to know you can be counted on to pay attention to his physical cues when he’s feeling overwhelmed. Kanga would do best in a home setting with a secure yard and would prefer to be your only pet. He might do well with savvy teens as long as they are aware of Kanga’s “dog language” and can give him space when he needs it.  Are you the active, patient, forever home that Kanga is seeking? Kanga is currently enjoying the amenities of our Malley Valley doggie resort.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.April 17, 2024, 9:18 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Interested in adopting? See our adoption process. PHOENIX is a large boy who loves adventures, playing fetch and getting all the scratches you are willing to give.  He enjoys playing with stuffed toys that squeak, if it makes noise he will love it! Treats you say? Oh he will do so many tricks for you for snacks. He can sit, down, shake, other paw and more!  With a striking appearance and a heart full of love, he is on a journey to find his forever home. This sweet-natured canine requires an owner who can provide consistent guidance and training. PHOENIX thrives on mental and physical stimulation and requires an engaged owner who can provide him with ample opportunities for play and exercise. Despite his occasional mischievousness and counter-surfing tendencies, PHOENIX's loyalty and desire for affection shine through, making him a wonderful companion for the right family willing to give him the love and structure he deserves. He is still learning to trust other dogs, so he would do best in a home as the King. He loves all the attention, and will fill your home with fun, silliness and snuggles!
