All About MeBruce is a four-year-old Alaskan Malamute weighing 32kg. He has been neutered, vaccinated, and is ready to find his forever home. He was found as a stray and ended up in a city pound, but despite having a microchip, no one came for him. He was at risk of euthanasia before being rescued and has now been waiting in a shelter for over a year. Hot and humid summers in Korea have been challenging for him, and he would thrive in a home where he can stay comfortable and cool. He is affectionate and enjoys meeting people, often leaning in for pets and belly rubs. He also tolerates grooming well but sheds heavily, as expected for his breed.
Personality and Social SkillsBruce is friendly and social, approaching both familiar and unfamiliar people with ease. He enjoys attention and does not mind being handled, including being picked up under his belly. He is especially gentle with children under 13 and appreciates their company. With other dogs, he is generally well-mannered. He greets new dogs politely but does not always engage in play.
