Story
We took in this big guy in February of 2020 when he was about 4 yrs. saying we would foster him and find him a good home. We have worked with him for three years now (much longer than anticipated due to covid and finding the perfect fit) and we believe that he would do best in a home with no other pets or small children. He would make a great companion for someone who is home most of the time. He can only be left for a few hours alone in his kennel. He still has separation anxiety although he has come a long way. He is a really sweet boy once you get to know him and he’s overcome a lot of his unwanted behaviors, however he still needs some work. He needs a strong owner that understands this breed well and will give him all the love and attention as he doesn’t like to share. Best in a home with no small children. He requires walks everyday and some sort of gravy or a little scoop of wet food on his kibble or he won’t eat. This guy is so goofy and fun and deserves the best.
