Story

Penny is a very loving dog but she requires a lot of attention. When she does not have enough of that coming her way she acts out aggressively towards her handler. She is currently on a shock collar to remind her of the appropriate behavior when walking around other people or pets. She requires a lot of exercise which helps her aggressive behavior to be lessened. She is a front of the pack dog. I have a write up from the behaviorist as to what that means for the next owner.

Stella was rescued in 2020 at 8m old. She has been a great dog— wonderful with the kids. She is mostly calm and likes to cuddle but definitely still has energy to play. She knows to go potty outside - though when it rains she has to be forced out 😅. She has been fine around dogs her size and bigger— but we haven’t had her around smaller dogs to know that behavior. She barks at cats & tries to chase them if they walk along the top of the wall. I would love for her to go to a home where someone will take her on walks (we haven’t been able to lately), someone who will play with her, let her live inside, & curl up next to them. The reason we are seeking a new home for her is because we have adopted 2 toddlers. Our space and time is being redirected towards the healing & raising of these children — and now our household & my capacity is maxed out with 8 people.
