Story
LION – Male Boxer | 2 Years Old - DOB 11/25/2023 |    50 lbs | Healthy, Vaccinated & Neutered Introducing Lion, the sweetest big-hearted Boxer boy you’ll ever meet! At 2 years old, Lion has that perfect blend of Boxer goofiness and soulful loyalty. He’s playful, affectionate, expressive, and absolutely loves being near his humans. Lion is the type of dog who wiggles when he’s happy, leans in for cuddles, and charms everyone he meets with his warm, gentle nature. Breed Info: Boxers are known for their intelligence, athleticism, and famously silly personalities. They are deeply loyal, people-oriented, and incredibly loving companions. Boxers thrive on interaction, bonding, and being included in family life. Lion reflects the best of his breed — goofy, devoted, and full of heart. Owner Responsibilities: To help Lion thrive, he’ll need: Daily exercise (walks, play, and engagement) Structure, training, and positive reinforcement Plenty of affection and time with his family A safe, stable home where he won’t be left alone too long Give him routine, purpose, and love — and Lion will give you devotion for life. Things to Consider Before Adopting Lion: Are you ready for a medium-energy, highly social dog? Do you have the time and stability for daily exercise and bonding? Is your home and landlord dog-friendly? Are you prepared to commit to a dog for the next 10+ years? Are you ready for a dog who wants to be included as part of the family, always? Dogs are forever — not until convenient. Vet Care: Lion is healthy, vaccinated, and neutered. Please take him to your own vet shortly after adoption to set up ongoing care and ensure his continued well-being. The 3-3-3 Rule & Lifelong Commitment: First 3 days: He decompresses and starts to feel safe. First 3 weeks: Lion learns your routine, expectations, and begins trusting fully. First 3 months: He bonds deeply, understanding he is truly home at last. Adoption is forever — and Lion is ready to give his heart unconditionally. Why Lion Would Be a Great Addition: Lion is a loyal, affectionate, and joy-filled companion who will bring warmth and love into any home. His expressive Boxer charm, playful energy, and gentle nature make him the kind of dog who forms bonds that last a lifetime. He’ll make you laugh, comfort you on hard days, and love you with everything he has. He’s not just a dog — he’s family. &#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143   If you are interested in adopting this amazing dog, please follow the link https://www.ozzieandfriendsrescue.org/adoptions and fill out an application  Thank you for choosing Ozzie and Friends Rescue. Story
Meet Big Mac! Part pit bull, part linebacker, part oversized teddy bear. This big hunk of love is basically the canine version of ordering the supersize meal extra everything. He thinks he’s a lap dog (spoiler: he’s not), has a smile wider than Clayton Kershaw’s windup, and believes belly rubs should be an Olympic sport (he’d medal). Big Mac is 4 years old and spent over a year in the shelter even though he is the most perfect boy! He can’t quite figure out why no one scooped him up sooner, but we’re pretty sure it’s because he was saving himself for you. If you’ve got a couch and a sense of humor, Big Mac is ready to be your number one draft pick! Questions can be emailed to Danelle@roversretreat.org Big Mac's Adoption fee is $600 adoption application can be found roversretreat.org

Story
Introducing Lucy!  She is a darling 5 year old mixed breed dog that was rescued because her owner's landlord changed the terms of their lease.   Lucy has lived with her foster dad for over a year and he says she's the perfect housemate! Lucy is doing terrific at her foster home. Her foster dad says she is so loving, happy, and affectionate. Lucy enjoys the independence of a dog door. Extra bonus she will patrol your yard for critters! Lucy loves going on walks and is walks nicely with a gentle leader. Lucy's favorite activities are cuddling on the sofa, zoomies in the backyard and playing (destroying) her toys. Those darn squeakers in her toys are just too irresistible!;-) Lucy will thrive in a home as an only dog with active people. She loves being outdoors and would be a great hiking companion. Her foster parents say that she is so smart and they are working on commands with her. Lucy is a great balance of an active, athletic dog and a goofy couch potato If Lucy sounds like the dog for you please complete an adoption application at roversretreat.org Lucy's adoption fee is $400 Questions can be sent to Danelle@roversretreat.org

Story
Meet Jane! She came into rescue after being at risk of euthanasia at the shelter. When she first arrived, she was shut down and scared  but once she felt safe, she truly blossomed. Jane is a sweet approximately 4 year old pit mix who loves walks, playtime with other dogs, and just being part of the fun with her people. She’s come such a long way and continues to show more of her affectionate, gentle personality every day. Jane would do best in a patient home that lets her keep growing at her own pace. She does well with other dogs but would be equally happy as an only dog soaking up love and attention. For more information contact Danelle@roversretreat.org If Jane is the girl for you please apply at roversretreat.org
