Story
She’s a happy, playful pup who loves her toys and enjoys being part of the action. Her previous owner shared that she’s potty trained and crate trained, and she’s done well with kids in the past. Because of her history, she’ll need to be the only dog in the home, but she has plenty of love and enthusiasm to fill the space all on her own. She’s ready for a family who appreciates her joyful energy and warm, wiggly charm.

Story
Sporty Spots is a very handsome Saint Bernard American Bulldog mix that weighs about 80 pounds! He absolutely loves people and loves to get attention and belly rubs! He will sit with his head in your lap getting all the head scratches for hours if you let him. He is a goofball and is sure to make you laugh and smile everyday.  Spots is a super friendly and outgoing dog. He is good with children that are aged 14 and over! He loves toys, and he also loves to play in water. He is the kind of dog that would love to play in the sprinklers and have his own little pool he can play in. He really loves to play with balls, he will chase them all day. Spots would do best in a home that has a backyard for him to run around in.  Spots does well with some dogs that are his size or larger. Spots will need to go to a home that has a strong handler and has owned large dogs before. So far, he has learned to sit, stay, and lay down.  Overall, Spots is an amazing dog that is waiting for his forever home. He is very loyal and very friendly with other people. He also is very protective of his home and loves to keep patrol of his yard! He loves toys and water and would make the perfect travel buddy! ******Please note, once you complete the initial screening, you will be connected with the placement for a video chat. Transports run every few weeks, and we will have the dog on the next available transport once approved. If you are not able to accept a dog until a specific time period, please apply at that time************ We are a volunteer-run rescue and donate our time to these dogs. IF you are not serious about moving forward in our adoption process, please do not apply. If someone other than yourself is part of the decision-making process, please make sure you have spoken with them and they are on board. We do not want to waste anyone's time if you are not serious about adopting this dog. Hi! I am Pawl Stanley and I am a 2-year-old, 70lbs, neutered, and chipped. I have a loving personality and just want to be everybody’s friend! I haven’t had the best life until now. I was abandoned by my previous family and left in an apartment for around 2 weeks with no food and only the toilet to drink from. I was found there and brought to the shelter. A foster stepped up to get me out of the shelter and now things are looking up for me! I get to spend time with humans and both big and small dogs. I love everyone! I like to play with other dogs, but sometimes I get a little too excited for the small dogs and scare them when I do my play dance too close to them! My foster family has been working with me on my manners - I am a good boy, but I am doing my best to become the best boy I know I am meant to be! I already know how to sit, and I am currently learning crate training, wait/stay, leash walking, and basic manners. My foster family says I'm improving every day! I don’t really understand personal space because I want to be close to my friends. Some of my favorite things are making friends (both human and dog), chew toys, eating my veggies (like carrots and broccoli), going on walks (even in light rain), and diving for ice cubes in the water bowl. While I do enjoy my foster family, I am looking for my forever home. I want to be a part of a family that needs a big, excited, bundle of love in their lives! If you are interested in adding Stanley into your family, please fill out the adoption application below! https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/DDAR/Dog ***Listed BREED and AGE - We are taking our best guess & recommendations from our veterinarian on age, breed and size when fully grown. We rarely know a dog's exact age nor are we able to tell the true or full breed mix of dogs as our information is limited most of the time. ***
