Story
Say hello to Delta, a super playful and affectionate female puppy bursting with energy! She’s quick to warm up to new people, bonding almost instantly with her foster family and our male dog sitter. Delta’s outgoing and friendly personality shines through, and she gets along great with other dogs and pets, especially her medium-sized doggy pal. While she’s a bit nervous on a leash and needs some training, her potty training is already on point! Delta loves to play and cuddle, making her a true lap dog and love bug. She’s very close to her sister and would thrive in an active home with a medium to large dog to keep her company if not adopted together. Ready for a fun, loving companion? Come meet Delta on Saturday! ##2542872##

Story
Meet Dixie: Your Future Furry Best Friend!  Dixie is a delightful female puppy with a heart full of love and a playful spirit! This outgoing and friendly girl has a high energy level, making her the perfect companion for an active household. Dixie bonds quickly with new people, instantly winning over her foster family and even our male dog sitter. She’s a true love bug and lap dog, always ready to cuddle up after a fun play session. Dixie gets along wonderfully with other dogs, especially her medium-sized playmate, and would thrive in a home with a medium to large dog if not adopted with her sister, whom she adores. She’s already doing great with potty training, but leash training is a work in progress—she’s a bit nervous on a leash and will need patient guidance to build her confidence. Her comfort with children, cats, and other pets is still unknown, but her friendly nature suggests she’ll adapt well with proper introductions. Dixie would shine in a lively, dog-friendly home where she can play, run, and snuggle to her heart’s content. If you’re looking for a loving, energetic companion who brings joy to every moment, come meet Dixie on Saturday! ##2542870##

Say hi to Rae! This spunky "puppy" is about 1.5 yo (guesstimate bd 3/13/24) with lots of fun puppy energy. Her first home in life was rough, and she didn't get a chance to be the funny, happy dog that she is. She loves walks, hikes, and car rides and is doing better on a leash all the time. She gets along great with other dogs and loves living with her doggy foster sister. She is great with kids too!  Rae is an all-around sweet, loyal, and funny dog. To meet this wonderful girl put in an application at eapl.com Her adoption fee is $375 December 26, 2025, 10:09 am

Story
Meet    Missy    — a 2-year-old, 35-pound sweetheart with soft brown puppy dog eyes and the gentlest soul you could ever meet. With her cute white paws, wiggly little tail, and shy, endearing army crawl, Missy has a way of melting hearts the moment you meet her. Missy arrived as an    unclaimed stray    — no collar, no tag, and nobody to come for her. She’s been sitting quietly in an overcrowded shelter, waiting for someone to finally see her — to show her she’s    worth it   , that love is real, and that she’ll never be left behind again. She’s    sweet, submissive, and dainty   , the kind of girl who approaches with gentle wiggles and soft eyes that seem to ask,    “Is it safe to love you?”    Once she knows she’s safe, her warm, loving personality shines through. She loves other dogs and would thrive in a home with a friendly canine companion to help her feel secure and confident.   Missy is the picture of grace and quiet resilience. She’s not loud, not demanding — just a tender-hearted girl who wants to belong. She’s    good with dogs   ,    well-mannered   , and has a heart full of love to give.   To meet this lovely lady go to eapl.com and fill out an application. Story
Topper...seriously one of the sweetest, calmest, most submissive dogs I have ever met. He doesn't bark, he is not hyper, he loves to cuddle, he is submissive with other dogs and never shows any aggression even if a dog is trying to be dominant with him, and is living with cats and kittens. He was picked up by animal control with a large gash on his neck. The shelter fixed him up but then he ran out of time and was placed on the euthanasia list. I am so glad I got him out because he is the best. He is currently still in Oklahoma where he was rescued but he can only be adopted out of state where people treat animals well. He has to be prepaid and picked up directly from transport at one of our transport drop off locations below. If things don't work out for some reason, which rarely ever happens, we will either find a local foster to take him in or he will go back to Oklahoma on our next transport until a new home is found. Note: No dogs are advertised as potty-trained because most dogs need at least some re-training in a new environment and after being in a shelter/rescue environment/strays. www.facebook.com/desideratarescue (copy and paste into a new browser window) Transport locations: - Washington State (Kennewick, Spokane, Tacoma, Lynnwood/Edmonds, Bellingham) - Oregon (Portland and Springfield) - Colorado (Ft Lupton) - Idaho (Heyburn and Boise/Meridian) - Utah (Ogden) - Wyoming (Evanston, Rock Springs, Laramie) - Montana (Missoula) - Illinois (Vandalia, Springfield, Chicago) - Indiana (Spiceland, Burn Harbor) - Michigan (St Joseph, Battle Creek, Ann Arbor) - Wisconsin (Madison, Wausau, Eau Claire, Appleton, Milwaukee) - Minnesota (Minneapolis/St Paul) - Iowa (Des Moines) - Ohio (Columbus and London) - Pennsylvania (Erie, Pittsburgh and Harrisburg) - New York (Buffalo and Albany) - Connecticut (Enfield) - New Jersey (Bedminster) - Nevada (Las Vegas) - Arizona (Flagstaff) - Vermont (Brattleboro) Vetting: neutered, microchipped, rabies vaccine, bordetella vaccine, dhpp vaccine x 3, lepto vaccine x 2, dewormed several times, on monthly flea and tick prevention, on monthly heartworm protection, heartworm tested (negative). Story
Watch her video: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/Z71ZM9HDOZw Salvation was seized as a cruelty case. She was being kept in a small cage 24/7 and almost starved to death. The person who reported the owner wanted to adopt her after she got better but the previous owner knew them and threatened them. I took her into my rescue and she is the absolute sweetest thing ever despite what she has been through. All she wants is to be loved on. She is great with other dogs even when they are annoying and she is great with cats too. She walks well on the leash and despite her bad experience with crates she does well in them. She is currently still in Oklahoma where she was rescued but she can only be adopted out of state where people treat animals well. Story
Zion is a young female pittie mix who found herself at a high volume kill shelter where dogs get euthanized daily. When it was her turn, we rescued her and what a good save she was. She is a pocket pittie, i.e. small in size for the breed, and great with other dogs and also with cats. She is playful and loving and will be your best friend. She does well in a crate too. She is currently still in Oklahoma where she was rescued but she can only be adopted out of state where people treat animals well. She has to be prepaid and picked up directly from transport at one of our transport drop off locations below.
