He’s got that classic Boxer personality—goofy, loving, playful, expressive, and always ready to make you laugh. Tank lives for human attention, happy moments, and being part of the action. Despite his bright spirit, Tank hasn’t had it easy. He was heartbreakingly abandoned inside a home when his owner moved out, then eventually dumped at animal control. Yet somehow, he still greets people with trust, sweetness, and that signature Boxer enthusiasm. He’s proof that dogs can be incredibly resilient and unbelievably loving. Tank does great with other dogs and has even lived with cats, making him a wonderful fit for many types of families. He’s eager to belong to someone who will finally give him the stability, kindness, and love he has always deserved. If you’re looking for a loyal companion with boundless love and a silly streak that will brighten every day, Tank is ready to be your guy. Adoption application: www.wtfarmtn.org

Story
This puppy Is spayed/neutered, up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations, treated for all of the intestinal parasites, and current on flea/tick and heartworm preventative. Because intestinal parasites are cyclical, your puppy may need additional treatment once you get him/her home. This is common and nothing to be alarmed about. Puppies and dogs need to be treated periodically for parasites throughout their entire lives. The adoption fee is $550 if your adoption is prepaid prior to your pup's arrival. An additional $50 will be charged on puppies that are adopted at an event, or foster home. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with CT HB 5368. WANT TO MEET OUR DOGS IN PERSON? Check the Events tab on cprdogs.com for all weekend adoption event info. The majority of the dogs marked as 'meet me' will be there to see you! More and more of our adopters are having fun with DNA tests on their pups. You might ask yourself why our breed guess is varying degrees of difference from the DNA tests. Most of our puppies are rescued from high kill shelters or other abandonment situations and we have no info on parents. When we rescue puppies that have no background info, we make our very best educated guess as to breed mix and age. Our guesstimate comes from years and years and years of animal welfare work and training, but our guesses won't always agree with your vet, your neighbor, your DNA test, etc. The most important thing to know about your puppy's breed mix is that most likely he/she is a Super Lovable Mutt made of many many many different breeds. If you are a MA resident, your new family member is required to go through a mandatory 48 hour quarantine period at the Woburn MA isolation facility. Your new family member will be dropped off by our transport on Thursday and will be ready for you to pick him/her up on Saturday between 11 am-1 pm. An additional $100 fee will be added for any dogs picked up from the Woburn MA quarantine facility. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with MA Order 405-CD-12 and Order 1-AHO-05. TO APPLY PLEASE GO TO www.cprdogs.com. If your application was successfully submitted you will get an automatically generated confirmation email. Please DO NOT USE the ADOPTAPET "CONTACT THIS RESCUE GROUP" form below or you may not hear from us as these often end up in spam or bouncing back. After receipt of your application, an adoption counselor will then be in touch to answer your questions about this pup, discuss the adoption process and get the ball rolling! If you have not heard from one of our volunteers within 5 days of submitting your application, please email mollibo@gmail.com.

Story
Name: Bruce Age: 5 years Breed: Pit Bull Terrier mix Size: 62.6 lbs Special Needs: Heartworm positive Adoption Application: https://forms.gle/nuKXoMu6gjS5DhFm8 Contact: transport@hssm.org Meet Bruce ,quite possibly the most wonderful terrier mix you’ll ever have the pleasure of knowing. Bruce is a sweet, gentle soul with a heart as big as his adorable personality. He’s a total ham in the best way soaking up attention, leaning in for love, and charming everyone he meets. Sunshine walks are his happy place, especially when they’re followed by plenty of outdoor lounging, belly rubs, and being spoiled with treats (his favorite!). This gentle teddy bear is looking for his best buddy ,someone to share adventures with during the day and cozy couch time in the evenings. Whether you’re exploring the world together or just relaxing side by side, Bruce is happiest simply being with his person. Through no fault of his own, Bruce found himself in a shelter after testing heartworm positive, as his former owner didn’t have him on prevention. The good news? Heartworm is completely treatable, and he can spend the rest of his life happy and healthy. Bruce is ready to move forward from the rough life he has had and start the life he truly deserves. Bruce's adoption fee includes spay/neuter, up to date vaccines, microchip AND transport fee to a location near you. We currently have transportation to CT, MD, NJ, NY, PA, VA, GA, and TN. Please email transport@hssm.org for more information on transports! --> If you are interested in adopting Bruce please fill out our online application here: (https://forms.gle/nuKXoMu6gjS5DhFm8 - Dog). A staff member will reach out if your application is approved to discuss the adoption process. No fenced in yard required, and YES - we adopt to families with children! The adoption will not be final until the adoption contract is discussed and signed. Transports are arranged for specific dates, typically within 1-3 weeks of approving your application. Adopters will meet at a designated meeting spot to pick up their new companions. For further information, please first fill out the application referenced above. **Due to import regulations we are not able to adopt to MA or RI residents at this time.
