This American Bulldog/Boxer mix spent seven great years with his pet parents before his world was turned upside down by a toddler (Relatable, right?). While he has struggled to adapt to the antics of an unpredictable little human, Jackson remains a sweet, well-behaved Good Dog. He loves his crate and follows numerous commands. And get this: He dislikes walks almost as much as you dread carrying poop bags. Score! Jackson’s go-to activities are lying next to you on the couch or zooming around the backyard before soaking up some rays with a pro-level nap. His ideal forever home would feature adults, teenagers and a fenced yard. Could he share this place with another dog or a cat? Sure, but let’s take that nice and slooooow. Coco and her siblings were 8 weeks old when they became court cases with animal control charges of animal cruelty. They have been in foster for the past 22 months and were just released to be available for adoption. Coco's journey to find her forever home has been one of resilience and love. This beautiful girl had a tragic start, as she and her siblings became court cases with charges of severe abuse and neglect when they were just a few weeks old. In April 2023, Coco and two of her siblings came into a wonderful woman's care as foster babies. Since then, Coco has blossomed in a happy and safe environment, surrounded by her brother and sister. Coco has shown incredible strength and love despite her dicult beginnings. She deserves a forever home where she can continue to thrive and bring joy to her new family. About Coco: - Coco is almost 2 years old, weighs approximately 66 pounds. Story

Dexter is a sweet, goofy older boy who just wants someone to cuddle and play fetch with. He has been known to toss a ball or frisbee to himself in a pinch, but he definitely prefers a human companion for these sort of sporting activities! Dexter also loves walks and is very good on the leash, but he tends to tire out after a mile or two. He is house trained and crate trained, and while he has on occasion managed to Houdini his way out of his crate, he has never caused any actual damage to the crate nor gotten into any mischief after he freed himself. He does very well with other dogs, but would do just fine as an only dog as well - he definitely prefers the company of humans over canines! He is generally a very quiet, low-key dog. That said, we recommend he not be placed in a home with cats (he has not shown any prey-drive tendencies, but he is a little too interested in them for their comfort level). While he is a very gentle boy, he does sometimes get a little jumpy (especially when meeting new people) and can inadvertently head-butt with his big blocky head, so a home with older kids would be ideal. He is very smart and knows basic commands (sit, stay, come, crate) and LOVES treats! Dexter has not shown any resource-guarding tendencies regarding food, treats, or toys but he can be a vocal player with other dogs. Dexter would love a home with a nice fenced yard for playing fetch, where he gets lots of human attention and snuggles. Although he hasn't been around cats too often, he has met two and was curious but didn't lunge or chase them. With slow and supervised effort, he would likely get along fine with cats and small dogs. Champ is a 3 year old mixed breed with a super fun personality! This 62 lb mush is full of love. Champ loves playing fetch! Champ likes playing with stuffed toys but really lit up when a tennis ball gets pulled out. It was time to get serious and fetch is Champ's passion. His joy was evident, and we played round after round. Champ also knows how to sit for treats, but he'd rather sit for another throw in fetch and was good about bringing the ball back each time. His former owner said Champ lived as an indoor dog and is house trained and crate trained. He's also playful with kids of all ages. However, Champ really loves to play with toys but can have poor aim, so it’s probably best he goes to a home with older kids if any that can handle a rough player. This charming fellow is 8 years old and weighs a solid 75 pounds, with a personality that’s as big as he is. Wilbert gets along well with other dogs and is a friendly pup. He’s a smart cookie who knows the sit command and comes when called. He’s also crate trained and walks nicely on a leash. Despite his size, Wilbert has a surprising amount of energy and an almost comical obsession with tennis balls!
