Mick is a 2-year-old, 65 lb sweetheart with a gentle soul who just needs the right person to help him feel safe. He was found as a stray in Bartow County, Georgia, landed on the euthanasia list, and was thankfully saved and transferred to Doggie Harmony. They are now partnering with Eleventh Hour Rescue to help Mick find a loving home up here. Mick is still learning that the world isn’t such a scary place. On leash, he can freeze up and feel unsure, so he would do best in a home with a fenced yard where he can comfortably get his potty breaks and exercise. With patience, consistency, and someone willing to work with him, Mick has every potential to gain confidence and learn to walk happily on leash. Despite this one challenge, Mick is otherwise a wonderful, well-adjusted dog. He absolutely loves everyone he meets and is friendly with other dogs and even cats. He’s a kind, affectionate boy who has already been through so much and truly deserves a calm, understanding home where he can continue to blossom. Champ is a 3 year old mixed breed with a super fun personality! This 62 lb mush is full of love. Champ loves playing fetch! Champ likes playing with stuffed toys but really lit up when a tennis ball gets pulled out. It was time to get serious and fetch is Champ's passion. His joy was evident, and we played round after round. Champ also knows how to sit for treats, but he'd rather sit for another throw in fetch and was good about bringing the ball back each time. His former owner said Champ lived as an indoor dog and is house trained and crate trained. He's also playful with kids of all ages. However, Champ really loves to play with toys but  can have poor aim,  so it’s probably best he goes to a home with older kids if any that can handle a rough player. Champ does best with dogs his size or larger! Champ is a great dog who's ready to be someone's best buddy! He is microchipped neutered and up to date on vaccines. Meet Wilbert, a handsome, short, and stocky Bulldog mix pulled into our rescue from a local inner-city shelter. This charming fellow is 8 years old and weighs a solid 75 pounds, with a personality that’s as big as he is. Wilbert gets along well with other dogs and is a friendly pup.  He’s a smart cookie who knows the sit command and comes when called. He’s also crate trained and walks nicely on a leash. Despite his size, Wilbert has a surprising amount of energy and an almost comical obsession with tennis balls! He’ll chase them down tirelessly and might just try to carry around as many as he can at once, all while showing off his big grin. Wilbert does best in an adult-only home where his family understands that he gets spooked if people get too close to his face, so he needs an owner who respects this boundary. From Louie "I love car rides, hikes, trips to Home Depot (I love to say hello to everyone inside), strolling downtown and hanging around the house." I love my foster family - two small dogs and three cats! I am lovely on a leash and the perfect gentleman in the house. I am also crate trained and I love to communicate with my foster family. I am a senior dog about 7-8 years old. I do have a minor medical condition due to being neutered late in life and I arrived with an untreated bladder infection (which now has been taken care of). I wear a belly band because of the bladder condition and I am very good about it. My foster mother says I always look handsome. I love baths and having my ears and feet cleaned - I love being touched. Would you take me home? I just want a lap and a couch. Not sure? You may foster me to see how wonderful I am. I can go back to my foster home if things don't work out (but I think you will really love me!)" Most importantly: You will make room so we can take in another lovely dog like me and give him a chance too!
