Meet Mick! Mick (formerly McGee) was found as a stray in rural north Georgia and saved from euthanasia at the last moment thanks to dedicated volunteers. Now in a loving foster home with Doggie Harmony, Mick is thriving and showing just how sweet he truly is. Mick loves everyone he meets and has the gentlest, most affectionate personality. He enjoys playing with other dogs but is happiest staying close to his people — preferably within kissing distance! He is a velcro dog without separation anxiety and has shown no resource guarding with food, toys, or people. He is housebroken, crate trained, well-mannered when left alone, and eager to please. Mick is learning basic commands and has been very respectful of the resident cat in his foster home. Mick is still a little unsure about hardwood floors (walking backwards seems less scary - see video!) but he is doing very well with his leash training! He does not pull, but will sometimes put on the brakes or zig and zag a bit. This is easy to correct with a pinch collar or training leash, and he is a fast learner so he is sure to master the Art of the Walk very soon! Mick is neutered, vaccinated, heartworm negative, and ready for his forever home. Coco and her siblings were 8 weeks old when they became court cases with animal control charges of animal cruelty. They have been in foster for the past 22 months and were just released to be available for adoption. Coco's journey to find her forever home has been one of resilience and love. This beautiful girl had a tragic start, as she and her siblings became court cases with charges of severe abuse and neglect when they were just a few weeks old. In April 2023, Coco and two of her siblings came into a wonderful woman's care as foster babies. Since then, Coco has blossomed in a happy and safe environment, surrounded by her brother and sister. Coco has shown incredible strength and love despite her dicult beginnings. She deserves a forever home where she can continue to thrive and bring joy to her new family. About Coco: - Coco is almost 2 years old, weighs approximately 66 pounds. Story

Dexter is a sweet, goofy older boy who just wants someone to cuddle and play fetch with. He has been known to toss a ball or frisbee to himself in a pinch, but he definitely prefers a human companion for these sort of sporting activities! Dexter also loves walks and is very good on the leash, but he tends to tire out after a mile or two. He is house trained and crate trained, and while he has on occasion managed to Houdini his way out of his crate, he has never caused any actual damage to the crate nor gotten into any mischief after he freed himself. He does very well with other dogs, but would do just fine as an only dog as well - he definitely prefers the company of humans over canines! He is generally a very quiet, low-key dog. That said, we recommend he not be placed in a home with cats (he has not shown any prey-drive tendencies, but he is a little too interested in them for their comfort level). While he is a very gentle boy, he does sometimes get a little jumpy (especially when meeting new people) and can inadvertently head-butt with his big blocky head, so a home with older kids would be ideal. He is very smart and knows basic commands (sit, stay, come, crate) and LOVES treats! Dexter has not shown any resource-guarding tendencies regarding food, treats, or toys but he can be a vocal player with other dogs. Dexter would love a home with a nice fenced yard for playing fetch, where he gets lots of human attention and snuggles. Although he hasn't been around cats too often, he has met two and was curious but didn't lunge or chase them. With slow and supervised effort, he would likely get along fine with cats and small dogs. We assume she was tossed out when she was no longer needed. Despite this, Fiona is so lovable and gets along well with children, other dogs and even cats. From Louie "I love car rides, hikes, trips to Home Depot (I love to say hello to everyone inside), strolling downtown and hanging around the house." I love my foster family - two small dogs and three cats! I am lovely on a leash and the perfect gentleman in the house. I am also crate trained and I love to communicate with my foster family. I am a senior dog about 7-8 years old. I do have a minor medical condition due to being neutered late in life and I arrived with an untreated bladder infection (which now has been taken care of). I wear a belly band because of the bladder condition and I am very good about it. My foster mother says I always look handsome. I love baths and having my ears and feet cleaned - I love being touched. Would you take me home? I just want a lap and a couch. Not sure? You may foster me to see how wonderful I am. I can go back to my foster home if things don't work out (but I think you will really love me!)" Most importantly: You will make room so we can take in another lovely dog like me and give him a chance too!
