Meet Angelus!Angelus is the cutest pup that came to us as a stray. He was dirty, covered in fleas, and so scared. He just wanted to curl up in our laps. During his time with us, Angelus has proven to be such aHUGE sweetheart! He loves everyone he meets and gives the best kisses! He loves butt rubs and thinks he is a big lap dog! He is dog friendly and is not a barker. He appears to be an American Bull dog mix with that cute, squishy face and those adorable tiny, spotted ears!. This sweet boy is everything you'd ever want in a dog. He was afraid of the leash when we found him. However, he has made AMAZING progress and now sees the leash as a good thing! He loves his walks and is fabulous on the leash. He's such a quick study and loves to learn and please you! He knows, sit, lay down, and off (because he didn't know any better, he was a counter surfer and would jump on you for affection but now obeys "off"), no, outside, and comeswhen you call him. He is a quick study and would learn any other commands/tricks you're willing to teach him. He offers you his paw when he wants affection and it's so ADORABLE!!He absolutely LOVES to play ball and with toys. He did fantastic when he was cat tested. When we go for a walk, he doesn't even bother the neighborhood cats. He just sniffs them and moves on. He's housetrained and has learned how to use the doggy door and follows his housemates through it. He is even fantastic with bossy little dogs. He does not chase them and is actually very submissive around them. This guy is so much fun! He loves to play, play, play! When he's outside he gets the cutest zoomies! But don't let that fool you! He's the best guy to hang out on the couch with and watch movies!! He loves attention and affection. He will willing go to his crate when you ask him "go lay down" and does not whine. His foster mom works from home and says he's the quietest, well behaved, polite guy ever! He did well with children at an adoption event, but because of his size and energy level, he would probably be best with older children. This sweet pup loves his car rides! He is calm in the car and stays in one place. So if you're looking for a new best friend Angelus is your guy!! He was born in 2019 and located at our rescue facility in Justin.
