Story
Charm is a ray of sunshine who just needs a quiet, loving foster home to rest and recover until she’s ready for adoption. She’s a sweet, wiggly girl who would do best in a calm environment with older children (12+) and no other pets. She would love a break from the busy shelter so she can relax, decompress, and enjoy some one-on-one attention.Reason for Foster: Pulmonic stenosis & recovering from dental surgeryFoster Time Frame: 2 Weeks(The foster time frame may be longer depending on future rechecks and medical needs.) Foster Care Plan: Charm is being monitored for mild-to-moderate pulmonic stenosis. Pulmonic stenosis is a heart condition caused by a narrow valve. Her prognosis is good, and she will need yearly echocardiograms to monitor for any changes over time. She also recently had dental surgery, so she will go to foster with medication and should be fed soft food and soft treats only while she continues to heal. She’ll need to return to Operation Kindness for a medical recheck to ensure her mouth is healing well.At pickup, our medical and behavior teams will meet with you to go over Charm’s needs, answer questions, and make sure you feel confident supporting this sweet girl during her recovery.Foster to Adopt Program:Charm is available through our Foster to Adopt program, which allows pets awaiting or undergoing medical treatment to be placed with prospective adopters before they are made available for adoption. If you are interested in becoming a foster, please visit https://www.operationkindness.org/foster/ or email us at foster@operationkindness.org to learn more.

Story
It`s a bird, It`s a plane...Oh wait...It`s me! Rocky! I came into the shelter as a stray and have been waiting to find my forever home for almost half a year. I`ve made lots of friends since coming into the shelter...dogs and humans! I have never interacted face to face with a cat, but I think I could try it out. I love spending time with my friends here at the shelter, and the nice lady I see tells me I `cobb`. That means I give tiny little nibbles when I like someone, like I am eating corn on the cobb! My dream is to spend the holidays with a family of my own. Could you spare a nice doggie bed for me? Come meet me today during our open hours!

Some pets are in the Shelter and others in Foster homes. Please read the bio & email the address listed in the bio.   Additionally for CATS you  may email  JShelton@eulesstx.gov and for DOGS, email trinitygapclub@gmail.com       Looking for a fun dog who loves playing with balls as much as he loves people? Meet Manny….this sweet boy came to the Euless shelter as a stray, extremely malnourished and with happy tail syndrome. Despite undergoing a partial tail amputation surgery and several followup vet visits, he is one of the happiest dogs you’ll meet.   At 3 years old, he still has the playfulness of a puppy, but without all the trials of training. Manny is housebroken, crate trained, walks well on a harness and loves car rides.  He knows basic commands and his foster family has been working with him to learn more and say he is a very smart, quick study.  Manny enjoys playing with his toys, especially BALLS and chasing after them. He has excellent house manners and does well with children and lives side by side with guinea pigs without issue. As much as he loves to play, he’s happy to settle down and snuggle up next to his people. Manny prefers to be the only dog and will do best in a home with a fully fenced backyard.    Manny is an American Bulldog/Staffordshire terrier mix, with a beautiful, healthy white coat. He’s been able to gain a little weight and is up to 53 lbs. He is neutered, fully vaccinated and heartworm negative. If you would like to meet this awesome dog, please email jgressett@sbcglobal.net or text 214-536-8606July 8, 2025, 10:48 pm

Story
Meet Lily, the Playful Sun-Seeker! Approximately 7-8 years old, Lily was adopted in 2019 as an adult. This charming Boxer mix, with no breathing issues, is a delightful blend of playful energy and affectionate cuddles. She's up to date on her medical needs, including her rabies vaccination, spay, and microchip. While she developed a seizure disorder two years ago, she is completely fine and thriving with an affordable monthly medication. Lily is a very playful pup who loves a good game of catch or tug-of-war. Alternatively, she loves to be snuggled, petted, and close to you. Due to her hip condition, she isn't able to walk long distances, though her enthusiasm might suggest otherwise at first! She's watchful of the house and will bark at anyone approaching. Lily enjoys the freedom of a dog door to access the yard whenever she pleases and loves laying out in the summer sun (yes, even in the heat!), but she is incredibly afraid of thunderstorms and seeks comfort close to you. Her kennel is another safe space (and will come with her to her new home). She is also afraid of vacuum cleaners, brooms, and cans, possibly from her life before us. She doesn't typically get along well with other dogs, though she coexisted with our previous dog, Max, who deferred to her dominance. She is very affectionate with teenage children, always ready for a car ride, and eager to join you on any adventure. Lily needs a new home because her family is relocating to Switzerland, and airlines do not accommodate 'snub-nosed' dogs for the journey. While her current family's other snub-nosed dog, Max, is being adopted by friends, Lily thrives as an only dog. Her ideal home would be with someone who is home frequently, as she is used to having companionship. Her current family is unsure how she does alone for extended periods, as she has rarely been alone for more than five hours, with a sitter checking on her twice a day during vacations. Lily is incredibly food motivated, and she will need a gate was installed at the kitchen entrance to create a safe space for food. This strong food motivation, however, could be a great advantage for training and teaching new tricks! This sweet, sun-loving, and affectionate pup is deserving of the perfect furever home. Could it be with you?
