Hi there, I’m Scotty, a 6-year-old boy who was found as a stray. Life hasn’t always been kind to me my scars tell a story of a tough past but I haven’t let that stop me from loving people with my whole heart. A few things about me: I seem to be housebroken I like to keep my space clean. I love people and soak up every bit of attention I can get. Meet Kitten! She is a black w/ white two and a half year, 66 lb, American Staffordshire Terrier. Kitten is a naturally protective Staffie. She's got a bark like a machine gun but is friendly to most of the cats. I found her as a stray while walking my other pitbull. Unfortunately Kitten is allergic to something around the house and its difficult to keep her bathed often enough to be comfortable. When I see her chewing it takes up a lot of mental energy. Kitten is a very bright girl that likes a brisk walk but is fine slower paces too. There are four cats here. She only chases two of them, probably because they run. She charms anyone she meets, possibly since she's settled down a bit in young adulthood. She plays well with other dogs. If other pets live with a prospective owner, its probably best for two or more adults to live there as well. That should provide an outlet for Kitten if her owner is occupied with other pets. Kitten is housebroken. She doesn't know any tricks but is very smart. I have one other dog and four cats and have not taken time to train her. Kitten requires Purina hypoallergenic veterinary food. Without this food, she scratches her chin on the floor briefly after eating. She is apparently allergic to several other things around the home. With only a food allergy, this decision would be put off indefinitely but she needs two baths a week at the moment and that situation may not change for several years. It breaks my heart to see her chew her paw pads off, or wheeze with an asthma attack out of breath. If you like pit bulls/staffies, Kitten is smart as a whip, good with cats and very accommodating and respectful to other pets. You would do well to meet her. This precious meat head is Champs. Big, strong, loving and loyal and looking for a loving home. Champs was found living in a homeless camp with a logger chain and lock around his neck - chained to a tree. Life was desperate for this guy with his open neck wound. What agony he lived in day after day, despite that he was still nice to people and other dogs that came up to him. Luckily, a good person stepped up and did something rather than just pass him by. Champs is a sweet loving smart boy. He is eager to please his people and make them proud. He is the most handsomest, sweetest little big guy out there! We are working on our Canine Good Citizenship together and he is SOOOO quick to learn and eager to please! Champs is good with other dogs, but does need proper intros as he is VERY excitable and not a lot of other dogs like that. But he when he makes friends, they are the best of pals! Not sure on cats or other pets. He's very curious so he'd probably chase a cat if it ran from him. He is high energy. I would recommend an active home with teenagers with lots of energy that they can play together. He loves a consistent routine. So I would imagine the energy will settle a bit when in a home. He loves a good car ride and would be a great on-the-go pup! He's in boarding right now and needs a foster or adopter that is willing to continue his training! He would sure love a home to experience life with a loving family. Champs seems to like everybody he meets: humans and canines.
