Kolby is 3 years old and weighs approx 70 lbs.  He does well on a leash and is crate trained.  He is wonderful with children, dogs as well as cats.  He knows sit, stay, come, leave it and off.  He is such a sweet, gentle boy.  He gets excited when greeting others but doesn't jump up on people.  He is learning to play with toys and easily shares food and toys with other dogs, and eats well with them. he is a cuddle buy and LOVES his humans.  He loves to follow his humans around like a little shadow.  He loves walks but can't take the heat.  He is good with baths.   ##2098508##

Story
Meet Ruby, a sweet and gentle girl who is currently in need of a loving foster home. She has a minor cold and some skin concerns that require a bit of extra care and attention. Despite her health issues, Ruby's affectionate nature shines through, making her a wonderful companion during her recovery.Reason for Foster: URI & PyodermaFoster Time Frame: 5 WeeksFoster Care Plan: Ruby is currently undergoing treatment for an upper respiratory infection, which is similar to a common cold. There is a possibility that she is contagious to other animals, so we strongly recommend keeping her separated in a bedroom or bathroom away from your personal pets until she has fully recovered. She will go home with medication and once his medication is completed he will have a recheck to move forward with surgery/adoption.She will also need medicated baths from her Pyoderma, which medical will be providing a consult on. I am available through our Foster to Adopt program. This program helps pets awaiting or under medical treatment be placed in with prospective adopters before they are made available for adoption. If interested in fostering through our Foster to Adopt program, sign up to be a foster online and express your interest in Ruby. We can schedule a pick up and meet and greet appointment. https://www.operationkindness.org/foster/

Story
Hi! I'm Dixie Rae, it's nice to meet you! My foster mom says I'm the goo- rope! Is that a rope? I love ropes. Anyways, my foster mom says I'm the bounciest, goodest girl ever, even though I'm a bit easily distracted. How can you not be distracted by all of the fun things in the world?! Like ropes, and tennis balls and toys full of stuffing! I love toys. Toys are my favorite, especially ones that I can pull all the stuffing out (I don't eat, just toss it aside) and ropes that I can play tug of war with. My foster brother and I can play tug ALL. DAY. LONG. We also like to wrestle. My two footed friends call me a helper dog because I'm really good at reading the body language of my doggy friends. I can bring my timid furriends out of their shells and back off when my furriends need a break. I make friends everywhere I go...well with the two footers and the puppers. I'm not really a fan of the cat type four footers. I'm really smart too. I learned my name super fast, and as long as there's not something better, I come when you call me. I know how to sit when you tell me, and I'm learning 'place'...apparently it's not polite to hover around the table during dinner time. I would love a furry sibling that I can play with all day long, but I'd be ok getting all of the attention too. Are you ready for me to move in? Story
Meet Frank Junior, the resilient pup who's overcome the odds to find his place in the world! Three years ago, Frank Junior entered the world as part of a bustling litter of 10 puppies. Born into uncertainty, his mother and 7 of her puppies, were lucky to find his way to a rescue where he was given a chance at a brighter future. But fate had more challenges in store for him, and in May 2024, he found himself facing euthanasia at a local shelter through no fault of his own. With less than 12 hours to spare, Frank Junior was whisked away from danger by a compassionate soul who recognized his potential for love and happiness. And as fate would have it, his rescuer turned out to be none other than the adopter of his biological mother, Franky. It was a twist of fate that would shape Frank Junior's future in ways he never could have imagined. Affectionately renamed after his beloved mom, Franky, Frank Junior quickly proved himself to be a chip off the old block. With his striking resemblance to Franky, both in appearance and spirit, it was clear that he was destined to follow in her paw prints. Initially, Junior was overwhelmed and withdrawn, struggling to trust his new foster humans. But with patience, understanding, and plenty of TLC, he slowly began to emerge from his shell. Today, he's a shining example of resilience, thriving on love and affection from those around him. Under 40 pounds, Junior is the perfect size for cuddling up on the couch or embarking on outdoor adventures. He's a certified love bug, showering his favorite humans with kisses and snuggles whenever he gets the chance. And when it comes to playtime, Junior is always ready for action, especially if it involves romping around with his canine companions. Junior is potty trained, crate trained, and ready to go! With a heritage that's as diverse as his personality, Junior is a unique blend of Bulldog, Chihuahua, American Bully, Pittie, and Staffy. But above all, he's a testament to the power of love and second chances. Whether you're looking for a napping buddy, an adventure partner, or simply a loyal friend, Frank Junior is ready to steal your heart and become your forever companion. Check out his story and see more pictures/videos on his foster parent's instagram @bennett_bunchofdogs - they have a story highlight dedicated to him.
