At almost 3 years old, she is still full of puppy spirit; playful, curious, and always ready for her next adventure. Nova LOVES playtime! She is especially crazy about cat lasers and Kong toys that can keep her busy and happy. Soft toys do not last long with her, because she will turn them into fluff in no time. With her high energy, she will thrive in a home that can give her plenty of activity, walks, and play to keep her mind and body engaged. After she gets her zoomies out, Nova is also a total sweetheart who will happily curl up with you for cuddles. She just needs a family who understands her playful nature and can help her find the right balance of fun and calm. Meet Manny….this sweet boy came to the Euless shelter as a stray, extremely malnourished and with happy tail syndrome. Despite undergoing a partial tail amputation surgery and several followup vet visits, he is one of the happiest dogs you’ll meet. At 3 years old, he still has the playfulness of a puppy, but without all the trials of training. Manny is housebroken, crate trained, walks well on a harness and loves car rides. He knows basic commands and his foster family has been working with him to learn more and say he is a very smart, quick study. Manny enjoys playing with his toys, especially BALLS and chasing after them. He has excellent house manners and does well with children and lives side by side with guinea pigs without issue. As much as he loves to play, he’s happy to settle down and snuggle up next to his people. Manny prefers to be the only dog and will do best in a home with a fully fenced backyard. Manny is an American Bulldog/Staffordshire terrier mix, with a beautiful, healthy white coat. He’s been able to gain a little weight and is up to 53 lbs. Meet CharlieCharlie is an 8 y/o big sweet handsome boy who takes some time to warm up but once he knows you, he will love you forever. He came to us as an owner surrender. His owner`s mother was having hospice care and he didn’t quite understand and would guard her, growling or even trying to nip at the nurses. He was surrendered to be euthanized. He chooses his people and will do best as an only dog in a very low traffic home. Charlie needs to trust and feel safe again in a home. At the facility he has done well with staff and volunteers but when being approached by a stranger he is not always welcoming. He is seeking a second chance to be someone’s loyal best friend again. I`ve made lots of friends since coming into the shelter...dogs and humans! I have never interacted face to face with a cat, but I think I could try it out. I love spending time with my friends here at the shelter, and the nice lady I see tells me I `cobb`. That means I give tiny little nibbles when I like someone, like I am eating corn on the cobb! Meet Sophie, a sweet and lovable 6 year old boxer mix who has come a long way from her rough start on the streets of South Texas. Abandoned at a gas station, emaciated and struggling to survive, Sophie was given a second chance at life when she was rescued and transported to DFW. After spending almost 2 years in foster care, Sophie has blossomed into a healthy and happy dog. She's a bit of a couch potato, spending most of her day lounging in her bed, but she loves to spring into action when it's time to eat! Sophie gets the zoomies once or twice a day and enjoys running around in the yard. She's a bit of a homebody and prefers to be indoors, doing her business and then heading back to the door. Sophie is looking for a forever home where she can be the only pet. She's not a fan of other dogs or cats, but she loves people and adores attention. She does well with older children 13+. She's potty trained, house trained, and knows how to sit on command. Sophie does well on a leash. Sophie is spayed, fully vaccinated and current on prevention. If you're looking for a loyal and loving companion, Sophie might be the perfect fit for you. We're hoping to find a family who will keep in touch and send updates on this sweet girl's new life.
