Found wandering the Rockwall/Heath area last October, Jimmy's journey began with a bit of mystery, sporting a chain collar and a makeshift zip-tied dirty collar. Since his rescue, Jimmy has found comfort and care in a wonderful foster home. Today, Jimmy is a transformed pup - he's neutered, microchipped, and has received full veterinary care. He's a perfect family dog, adoring the pre-teen children in his foster home and getting along splendidly with their three large dogs. Jimmy is a toy enthusiast and has a well-established routine, enjoying his beauty sleep until 7 am and often trotting off to bed by himself at 9 pm. Walks are on his list of favorites, along with plenty of pets and kisses. While his foster mom adores him, Jimmy has recently been navigating some challenges. He's shown signs of anxiety and over-protective behavior triggered by certain stimuli, such as the doorbell or bustling kid activities. To help him, Jimmy has just started a training boot camp, taking the first steps towards overcoming these hurdles. Jimmy is eagerly looking for a forever home that offers a calm, low-activity environment. He needs a loving adopter who will commit to reinforcing the training he's receiving and understanding his unique needs.
