Oh lord! Where do we begin with this guy??!!! This guy has not met a dog he didn't like!! He loves them all. All sizes. Loves to play. Loves them doggies! With the proper introduction of course. He is hesitant/shy of people, but warms up fairly quickly. Seriously though, who wouldn't be hesitant of people if people dumped you on a mountain and left you there? He is a calm, sweet pup who loves to follow you around the trails. He has a tail that wags a hundred miles an hour. Loves to run and play. He can also be stubborn if he isn't ready to be done with the task lol! Zoomies are a regular occurrence with his bowed feeties. He is truly a big, goofffffyyyy shorty that is solid with other dogs. He is very treat motivated making him highly trainable. He is a toddler, acts like a toddler. He is still working on his house training, but is doing great with structured, regular outings. Once he likes you, he loves pets, and toys, and prefers to sleep touching you. He is a sensitive, sweet soul. He has been patiently waiting for the exact right family to find him. Could it be you? Story
Sporty Spots is a very handsome Saint Bernard American Bulldog mix that weighs about 80 pounds! He absolutely loves people and loves to get attention and belly rubs! He will sit with his head in your lap getting all the head scratches for hours if you let him. He is a goofball and is sure to make you laugh and smile everyday.  Spots is a super friendly and outgoing dog. He is good with children that are aged 14 and over! He loves toys, and he also loves to play in water. He is the kind of dog that would love to play in the sprinklers and have his own little pool he can play in. He really loves to play with balls, he will chase them all day. Spots would do best in a home that has a backyard for him to run around in.  Spots does well with some dogs that are his size or larger. Spots will need to go to a home that has a strong handler and has owned large dogs before. So far, he has learned to sit, stay, and lay down.  Overall, Spots is an amazing dog that is waiting for his forever home. He is very loyal and very friendly with other people. He also is very protective of his home and loves to keep patrol of his yard! He loves toys and water and would make the perfect travel buddy! Story
Snoopy has a striking look and goofy personality. He is such a sweet boy who loves toys and lights up when you talk sweet to him or start to love on him. You can see him coming, tail-wagging and on a mission for some love, its adorable, but once you touch him you will see the wiggles. His whole body wiggles in happiness and that same wiggle will show up when he has a loved toy in his mouth. And if you can be flexible on what you play fetch with, replace the ball with a lovie, then you have yourself a fetch boy for sure! We estimate Snoopy to be right around 2 years old and he currently weighs 56 lbs and we expect his weight to settle in around 60-65 lbs. Breed and age are something in rescue we cannot guarantee but we suspect he is possibly a pittie/boxer/dojo mix, but definitely a guaranteed cutie boy. When introduced to new dogs Snoopy was happy and excited and a bit goofy. Its almost like he doesn’t know is this a handshake moment? A high-five? A hug? We have all been there! He is a good boy and once off leash and playing he is a happy bouncy playmate. The dog pairing that he seemed to enjoy the most was with a calm female who was happy to play but took breaks often. Snoopy will thrive in a home with a yard where he can show off his budding fetch skills and sun himself. Another dog would be great but isn’t needed, Snoopy adores people and will be content with the love of his family and a few good toys. However, he’s a no-go for feline friends—his goofy approach to greetings would cause him to chase a cat and that is not way to make a friend. Snoopy has all the makings of a wonderful companion and family dog, with the steady-legged ages and up would be best so he doesn’t knock over a little with all of his wiggle. This boy is going to light up when he sees you and coming home to that wiggle butt everyday is going to make for a pretty sweet life for you both. If you are ready for love and laughs and a loyal companion, Snoopy is just as ready! Adopt him today and get to living the next best chapter together! If you have any questions or would like us to test Snoopy in a specific setting, please get in touch. We can make most anything happen to ensure he is the correct fit for you and your life! We have over 15,000 successful adoptions so far and have excellent Google Reviews: https://g.co/kgs/UQ5Pyai We care deeply about making the perfect match between dog and family for long term success. Our rescue has a 2 acre property in Texas where we assess every animal with trainers on staff, we modify behavior as needed, and create individualized behavior plans to help prepare dogs for their future families including crate training, potty training, leash walking, etc. Our fosters are able to attend group trainings and socialization play groups to keep dogs adoption-ready. Our on-site trainers support the positive growth of our dogs and we enjoy seeing their progress! Our commitment to comprehensive medical care sets us apart. We've received glowing feedback from veterinarians who commend our dedication to ensuring the health and well-being of every animal in our care with treatments that often go above and beyond. Our adoption fees reflect the extensive care and resources that go into each animal we save. The adoption fee is a donation to the mission and goes far beyond getting a fully vetted pet. The rescue’s hard costs alone for a healthy dog to go through our program typically range between $412 to $859, which includes boarding, food, medications, vaccines, and spay/neuter. For heartworm-positive dogs, hard costs are upwards of $1,120. Additionally, dogs requiring extended boarding, extra training, or extra medical care—such as dental work, vision care, or orthopedic care—can lead to expenses running into the thousands. Also, included in the fee are costs to cover transport up to the Pacific Northwest or East Coast. While adoption fees help cover part of these expenses, we want to emphasize that Three Little Pitties Rescue is not government funded. It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these SPECIAL PERKS: Extensive behavioral testing and information from trainers on our staff to ensure the perfect fit for your family Discounts on Embark DNA test kit- $30 off of Breed ID test & $50 off of Breed ID plus Health test 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion A free private online dog training session with GoodPup, plus low pricing for future sessions 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a delicious PNW based fresh dog meatballs subscription Coupons for a fun visit to Petco 20% off of Dr. Cuddles pet first aid and hygiene solutions Discounted heartworm, flea prevention, and monthly dewormer Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! Our goal is simple— to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and by rescuing animals from the streets or overcrowded shelters where euthanasia due to lack of space is often the only option. Story
Small in name, big on presence, that is Guppy! This boy is an attention-getter- the squishy face and connection seeking eyes can convince anyone to give him a little love or a free-treat. His favorite things, in no particular order, Guppy loves- kisses, booty scratches, sharing treats with his new girlfriend, and apples. Yes, apples! Maybe not that surprising but what makes it especially fun is the chompy-chomp sound it makes when he chews them, if you have ever fed a horse an apple or an apple slice, you know the sound- it is so good! We all agree, our favorite thing about Guppy is his tippy-tappy dance, reserved for his favorite people. Imagine that big beefcake greeting you at the door doing his little dance! My heart! Guppy is estimated to be 5 years old and is likely an American bulldog/Pittie mix. Of course, given Guppy is a rescue, we cannot guarantee breed or age. He currently weighs 63 lbs and has a few pounds to gain so we expect him to top out around 65-70 lbs. We have introduced Guppy to a variety of dogs to gauge his play style and who he gravitates to naturally. It has been easy to see that he shines brightest when he is with female dogs—his “type” continues to be the calmer, lower-energy females. His girlfriend, at leash he thinks she is, is a wiggly senior female who has the same love of treats and laying around. The two of them together is just about the cutest and he really showed us he is quite the gentleman. If they were being offered treats, he always let her have one first, never once getting pushy. If looking to match-make your current dog in your home, Guppy would be a great companion for a female that matches his chill, low-energy approach to play and life. Guppy is also gentleman in his crate- he has not made a mess once in his crate. As for other pets, a no-cats or small animals home is needed. Whether its chickens or cats or similar- Guppy wants to chase and given his size that is an avoidable bit of chaos. On walks, Guppy’s excitement to be out and about greeting the people and seeing the sights, can lead to him pulling, so he is actively practicing leash training and making great progress everyday. The truth is though, this boy isn’t the outdoor adventure type, his interest in being outside is limited to backyard potty breaks, after that he is headed back inside to that cozy spot by your feet. He is happy to go out in the back yard for a potty break and then back to that spot by your feet or in his cozy bed. If you really want him to be a true 'couch potato” you may have to offer him a few of the good treats and even then he is going to let you hear a tiny bit of sass back. Its a cute little chatter that makes us all laugh. You will see a moment of it in his intro-video. His treat-motivated focus makes him a great candidate for continued teaching and training whether its just for fun or to polish him up to be a model best-boy but he comes with the basic- a great sit and a good recall. Another time Guppy uses his voice is to say hi from a distance when he sees someone he likes or wants to meet, it isn’t excessive but it does make him better suited for house living rather than an apartment. At the rescue when Guppy is hanging out in the living room he doesn’t use his voice to greet people though, he just hops up and comes right over, whether he knows you or its your first time passing through. From painters to volunteers, everyone got a Guppy Greeting! Guppy is ready to find his forever home, where his low-maintenance personality and goofy nature will be cherished and his booty regularly scratched. If you’re looking for a hang-out all da, full of love, companion who will keep you smiling, Guppy could be the one for you. Story
Napoleon describes him, he is very very playful and does want your attention, shares a home with an older cat but being a year old he is too much for him to play, kids play with him but better with older kids or kids that can rough play with him would be a good choice for his character and is a very high jumper, loves to run and jump and jump in general. Still being a pup has lots of training to do and has moved to various home along the way due to work, now my work is taking my away all day and part of the night and I am not able to take care of him the best way he should be, kids have after school activities and someone should be with him all day, he is very calm by himself but with other animals he will get hyper and would want to play, he is still being trained with a harness and leash and stays really close when he has it on, he still like to run up at people but he wants to know them. Easy to to train but is stubborn with wanting to play with cats.
