**COURTESY POST** Zyppr is a 4 yr. old, 40 lb. Staffordshire Lab mix. She originally was found at 9 months of age in the Bayou in a hoarding situation. She was brought to Southern California and is currently residing in the city of Tehachapi. Zyppr is a very loving, happy female who loves to play with her toys and chase balls. She also enjoys going on walks and is great on a leash. She is a cuddle bug and will snuggle in bed with you but is also okay in her own bed. She is a very smart and perceptive. She is loved by everyone where she is living now but she is not good with the family’s other female dog. She would be great as the only dog or with another medium-sized male dog as a playmate. Zyppr is up to date on her vaccinations, is spayed and microchipped. This special lady needs a special someone or family to call her own! **Courtesy post** Russell is a stunning 5 year old Staffy whose life started out not great. This boy was bounced from home to home then back and forth to the shelter, until a wonderful rescue group, Bullies and Buddies, pulled him from the overcrowded shelter. Russell is loving his foster home with alumni @bowiethehippo and Ziggy the kitty. This boy thrives on consistency and direction. While incarcerated in the shelter for almost 2 years, a volunteer started working w/him and getting him out but it was so hard on him, mentally and emotionally, to be put back into his cold, wet, concrete prison cell after experiencing a few minutes of freedom. He was in an amazing foster home for three months and then spent one month in board and training @k9kommittee building confidence and trust. Russell never had any consistency in his life until Bullies and Buddies recognized what a fabulous boy Russell is an rescued him. He is SO smart and goofy. He loves to play or just chill out. Russell is 60 pounds, house and crate trained, and good with dogs with proper intro. He loves a calm environment, so no kiddos. Russell has SO much potential and loves to please and learn. We are looking for someone with breed experience that can continue to set him up for success. He will come with two free training sessions. I was left to fend for myself at a 7-11 in a not so nice area and I waited and waited and WAITED for my person to come back for me. I looked and looked, and wandered and people saw me hanging out for a LONG time so thankfully a human ANGEL got me into their car and called another human ANGEL to help me out by paying for my vetting and paying to board me at an animal hospital until a foster home can be found. I'm a 1 year old 60 pound utterly gorgeous female Rottie/Pit/Mastiff mix and my life had a pretty terrible start I was given away as a puppy as a TIP to a pizza delivery person. Can you believe that? GIVEN. AWAY. AS. A. TIP. Is that what this world has come to? Well this person had no idea what to do with me, he couldn't just set me loose so he drove to a breeder and gave me to them. oh boy. Well guess what? After a while they didn't want me either because they couldn't sell me (so many terrible people out there) and they were gonna dump me at the pound. 😭😭 What were the chances of a black mixed breed dog getting out of that place alive? SLIM TO NONE This nice rescue stepped up and promised to find me a HOME, a place where I will be wanted, loved and never treated like an object to be traded/sold again! 💓😇 I've got a stunning black coat and surely will be the envy of your neighbors and friends! Hello Kind Humans I am Odie and here's my story! Someone dumped me on the streets of Redondo where I was utterly terrified and I ran, and I ran and I RAN for over a week straight dodging cars and literally starving to death, MANY people tried to catch me to get me to safety but I was so SCARED no one could. Until..... The day came when I was so sick and EXHAUSTED that I just collapsed on the pier and it was only then that a COMPASSIONATE Lady was able to pick me up, put me in her car and rush me to the closest vet (Thank You to HER and to VCA Hermosa 🩷) I was in awful shape so the hospital kept me and got me healthy while every effort was made for a month to find my owner. Sadly, no one ever responded to posts or flyers-it was so obvious I was not wanted anymore 😭 (oh yeah, I had no ID on and was not neutered or chipped-shocker!) They didn' want me going to the pound so they asked this rescue to help me out by getting me into training and finding me a home where I will be kept SAFE and LOVED. I am a 1 year old male STUNNING brindle Pittie mix and weigh 50 pounds Even tho I've now been with a fabulous trainer for a month and I am still slowly building my confidence I am still afraid of some people and certain noises but I just KNOW that there's a special human out there who is patient and who can help me learn that the world is not such a scary place! I'm also great with other dogs and cats and I NEED to be in a quiet adult only home that has a balanced dog or dogs so I can learn from them too! **COURTESY POST*** Hello Kind Humans my name is Lucky and I am in DIRE need of somewhere to go! I am an 10 month old cute and sweet male pittie mix and here's whats going on! I was living at a recycle facility but the owner of the place wanted me gone so a kind human grabbed me before they set me loose on the streets. Unfortunately they can't keep me and they have no way to contain me so they are keeping me tied up in their yard. They do have 2 little dogs and I'm good with them, I'm super friendly and know basic commands like sit, speak and paw and guess what? I know them in English and Spanish! Also.... I HAVE THE BEST AND BIGGEST SMILE! I haven't been neutered yet but that is being figured out, I can't get fixed until I find a rescue and a foster home as I can't be staying outside after the snip. Right now I'm in the Gardena area of SoCal but these people will figure out transport if there's a good rescue who can take me in as long as its in the SoCal area. Can you HELP me at all?
