Story
We adopted Ruby about 4 years ago right after our son was born. Unfortunately, our son is allergic to dogs and it's impacting his breathing. Ruby is a great dog, she is approximately 6 years old. She is medium energy and well house-trained. She will have some initial separation anxiety but can be left home alone for up to 8 hours without accidents or destroying anything. She is reactive to other dogs and cats but is great with people and especially kids. She has been in our household with a baby and toddler and she's been great with them. She's a great family dog.

Story
Meet Misty! This beautiful three-year-old pit mix weighs in at 60 lbs. and has the most soulful eyes and heart-melting smile. Rescued in November 2023 after being hit by a car, Misty has endured a tough journey—but through it all, her spirit has remained strong and full of love. After spending over 2.5 years in the shelter and rescue system, she’s more than ready to find a furever home of her own. Misty is an affectionate, gentle, and sweet-natured girl who absolutely lives for belly rubs—she’ll happily roll onto her back and soak up love all day long! She enjoys leisurely walks and meeting new human friends and children along the way. Her happy, social personality truly lights up any room she enters. This well-mannered pup already knows a variety of commands like "sit," "stay," and "down." She’s a quick learner who aims to please and thrives on positive attention. Misty has done wonderfully with children of all ages, including babies, and would make a loving family companion. While she prefers to be the only pet, she may do ok with calmer dogs with proper and slow introductions—no cats, please! Misty is housetrained, walks beautifully on leash, and is eager to continue learning. She’s looking for a home where she’ll be cherished as much as she’ll love in return. Her adoption fee is $400 and Misty is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and heartworm negative. Interested in giving this special girl the life she deserves? Apply today at form.jotform.com/200883908893166. Questions? Email us at info@happilyfureverafter.org.
