Story
This is Ruby!  She was found on the streets of Memphis and a couple days later she had 15 puppies in our rescue. She took great care of her puppies and they are all adopted now. Ruby is a gentle soul. She looks at you with eyes that show appreciation for her life. Her tail is always slowly wagging and she has a happy bark that bounces her whole body. Ruby loves hugs and pets from her humans. She is very sweet and calm most times - but does like to chew on bones and has energy to do short zoomies in the yard. She loves to go for slow walks especially if she gets to sniff along the way. It is entertaining to watch her look for bugs in the grass. She is always jumping back in surprise at  any movement.  She will throw herself down on the grass  and rub her back conv e nien tly exposing her belly for a rub . Ruby likes to be hosed down when it is hot out. Ruby is very smart and is responsive to commands and training. Ruby currently spends her days in an outdoor run and her nights in her crate inside. She is housed next to another female dog who she gets along great with. She likes other dogs but doesn't put up with any silly play.    She is best as an only dog or with an owner with breed specific experience. She is about 6  years old, and weighs 70   lbs.   Ruby has been spayed, is current on her vaccinations and microchipped.  Her adoption fee is $550  and includes her transportation to her new home in CT.  SHE IS IN A LOVING FOSTER HOME IN MEMPHIS, TN AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED TO HER NEW HOME ONCE ADOPTED!  New Beginnings Animal Rescue uses  a licensed and registered USDA transport company.    If you would like to apply to adopt Ruby, please fill out our online application here:  http://www.newbeginningsanimalrescue.net.  Any questions, please email us at:  newbeginnigs_animalrescue@yahoo.com.   THANK YOU FOR CONSIDERING ADOPTING A RESCUED PET! TABBY IS IN HER FOSTER HOME IN MEMPHIS, TN AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED TO CT ONCE SHE IS ADOPTED!  Tabby is a 2-year-old bundle of joy offering up her velvety coat to pet with a happy "smile" whenever she sees you.  Her foster family says she is full of playful energy, eagerly romping around the house with her giant foster brother who is 3 times her size.  She gets along with cats as well as other dogs, and she is both crate-trained and potty-trained. Tabby is full grown at 55 pounds.  She loves affection and will happily climb into your lap given the slightest invitation...she can never get enough belly rubs, hugs, or kisses.  And if you like to put clothes on your doggie, she wears t-shirts, pajamas, and jackets just fine.   This sweet girl is ready and waiting to be someone's furever friend.  She is fully vetted including spay, microchip, up-to-date vaccinations and her rabies shot.  Adoption fee of $550 includes the transport to CT.  We use a licensed and registered USDA transport company that will bring Tabby up north to her new family. Story
SPADE IS IN HIS FOSTER HOME IN MEMPHIS, TN, AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED TO CT ONCE ADOPTED!     Hello, my name is Spade and I’m here to sweep you off your feet. I am a 1.5 year old pit bull mix around 60 pounds! I’m looking for my forever home and family to call my own! I’m a high-energy dude, always ready for an adventure. Whether it’s chasing a ball, exploring the great outdoors, or learning new things, count me in! I’m super smart and a quick learner – especially if treats are involved. I’m not just about playtime; I’m a cuddler too! Belly rubs? Yes, please! I thrive on human attention and will happily sit in your lap – even if I’m a bit bigger than your average lap dog. I’m kennel trained and doggy door trained. I also walk very well on a leash! I love playing with toys, but a Kong with frozen peanut butter, is my favorite! I love playing with other dogs of all sizes. I love kids so much that I may knock little ones down, I get very excited! I’m truly a dog that doesn’t meet a stranger. Spade’s loving personality and irresistible charm will bring happiness to those lucky enough to have him in their lives. Spade is sure to become a beloved member of a family for years to come. He is completely vetted. Vetting includes spaying/neutering, microchip, rabies as well as all puppy vaccinations, and has been on preventatives. His adoption fee of $550 includes the transport to CT. Story
Bishop - Needs Foster or Forever home Male Pit bull type dog About 6 years old House trained Crate trained Walks well on a leash Knows basic commands Can live happily with another dog of similar size Needs a home with older children Up to date with vaccines Neutered Bishop came to us as an owner surrender. He had been rescued from a bad situation by a Good Samaritan who could not keep him. We saw him advertised on a free pets' site and contacted the owner, who was thankfully was willing to work with a rescue. After spending time in boarding while we searched for a foster home for him, Bishop has spent time in foster-based training. He has done great! Bishop loves his walks, and needs a family who will take him on adventures and continue to introduce him to new people, places, and things. He would love a family who is at home for at least part of the day - a stay-at-home parent, a retired person or couple, or someone who works from home would be ideal for him. He is happiest when he is with people. He is an absolutely wonderful, happy, affectionate dog who will make a wonderful family member.
