Story
Meet our pretty girl named Gracie! Gracie is about 2 years old, and she ended up at our shelter after she was found abandoned, tied to a fence in town. We were able to track down her original owner through her microchip. Turns out, Gracie was given away to a stranger on FB for free. We don't know where Gracie was for those 2 weeks, but we are very happy that she is not injured and is now safe with us! Gracie is a young, fun-loving dog with lots of energy and love to give! She's an adorable girl with a big heart. Gracie is super friendly and affectionate, she just can't get enough pets and snuggles! She's always up for a game of fetch, so she can be your new playmate. Gracie is an all-around funny girl who always makes her humans laugh. She's an adventurous pup who loves to explore, but also knows when it's time to settle down and cuddle. Gracie is a curious girl who's always eager to learn new things. She would be the perfect companion for a person or family who can give her all the love and attention she deserves! Gracie seems fine with other dogs and can go to a home with children 12 years old and older. If you are interested in adopting Gracie, Please Email us at Adopt@savingpawsct.org for an application! Her adoption fee is $75.00. PLEASE CHECK YOUR EMAIL SPAM FOLDER! MAC IS OPEN 7 DAYS A WEEK (M-F 8-4pm) (Sat-Sun 10-4pm) Applications must be submitted and approved BEFORE a meet and greet can be scheduled to meet an animal. Appts to meet dogs can made to suit your schedule, please email/call for an appt. We do prefer to be contacted by email for adoption inquiries at Adopt@savingpawsct.org. The office phone number is 203-235-4179. Leave a message, and someone will call you back promptly. PLEASE CHECK YOUR EMAIL SPAM FOLDER! You must be 21 years of age to adopt with valid ID. There is a short application for adoption, however if you do not own your home, or you own a condo, we must speak with your landlord or housing association giving permission to dogs/cats. Bully breed specific permission is required if you rent or own a condo. If you own your home, proof of home ownership is required. If there are other pets in the home they must be licensed (if a dog) and up to date on vaccinations. If there is another dog in the home a dog interaction must be done at the shelter before adoption, to ensure the safety and well being of all pets. All children in the home need to be declared and brought down to meet the animal. Applications must be submitted and approved BEFORE a meet and greet can be scheduled to meet an animal. An approved application does not guarantee an adoption. We do not hold animals for meet and greet appointments. ALL ANIMALS ARE SPAYED AND NEUTERED BEFORE THEY GO HOME. For more info please call 203-235-4179 (Always Leave A Message) or email adopt@savingpawsct.org
