Story
Oh, Family... Where are you? Hi, I’m Tagi! I’m a seven-month-old American Pit Bull Terrier puppy with a glossy chocolate-brown coat and a big white chest that makes me look especially stylish. Right now, I weigh about 50 pounds, but I’m still growing and expect to be a strong, lively 60–70 pounds full of energy and excitement! Are you an active person? I’m asking because I need someone who matches my energy. I love having a backyard where I can run (just make sure there is a tall fence because I have hops!), enjoy walks (though sometimes I get distracted by those mischievous squirrels), and like to keep my mind busy. On that note, I’m crate-trained, house-trained, and already know commands like sit, down, and “kennel up.” I’m very smart and motivated by treats, so learning new tricks is easy for me! Not only am I dapper, but I’m clever too—you just have to spend time with me to teach me more. My favorite toys include Benebones, peanut butter Kongs, and balls (which I proudly carry around as trophies). After lots of play, I enjoy winding down for some cozy cuddles. Humans? I’m discovering how wonderful they can be, though I take a little time to warm up. But once I trust you, there’s no turning back. Because I’m so energetic, I’d do best in a home without young children now. I am a fantastically fun playmate to all dogs, and as a puppy, I do great taking corrections well from older dogs. With patience and consistency, I’m confident I can become a fantastic addition to your family. If I sound like your guy, click that apply button so we can meet! Tagi is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and current on heartworm/flea/tick preventatives. His adoption fee is $275. Apply to adopt him at PawsitiveTailsKC.org, and his foster will be in touch to set up a meeting once you’re approved. 🤎🤍🤎🤍🤎🤍🤎🤍🤎🤍🤎🤍🤎🤍🤎🤍 APPLY @ PawsitiveTailsKC.org 🤎🤍🤎🤍🤎🤍🤎🤍🤎🤍🤎🤍🤎🤍🤎🤍

Story
Maybe you can help us solve a little mystery: Why hasn’t Scrappy Doo had any serious applications in almost a year? Let's unmask the mystery, like Scrappy's namesake cartoon, and turn this puzzle into a satisfactory ending for our guy. Scrappy Doo is a happy, playful, social dude who likes everyone he meets – human or dog. He is good with kids, and he is fun and pretty adorable with that charming smile of his. He is about 3 years old, weighs just under 60 lbs. and is a Pittie/Mastiff Cane Corso mix. He came into foster because someone witnessed one of his previous people physically hurting our sweet guy. In spite of how he was treated, Scrappy sees the best in people and is one of those triumphant spirits who has his compass firmly pointed in the direction of living his best life and never looking back. He has the most endearing bow legs, and his ears make different decisions every day about which way to point. He loves his toys and his friends, and just wants to have a good time. After playtime, he likes to cuddle up with his people and snuggle right in. He likes to play and mix it up with other dogs, and he definitely gets along with all of them. Recently we’ve discovered that some of his previous mistreatment may have physically affected him more than we realized. So, he should live with a dog(s) who he can banter with but maybe not play too rough and tumble, so he doesn’t get hurt. Or, he’d do great as an only dog too, so you can dote on him every day. He is house trained and crate trained and knows how to behave around the house, like every good sidekick should. None of those clues above have helped us understand why Scrappy has lingered in foster for this long – what do you think? He’s just a regular guy looking for a regular furever home where he’ll be appreciated for the rest of his life. Is that your home? Scrappy Doo is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated and current on heartworm preventative and flea/tick prevention. His adoption fee is $175. To meet him, apply to adopt at PawsitiveTailsKC.org. 🖤🤎❤️🧡💛💚💙💜🤍💜💙💚💛🧡❤️🤎🖤 APPLY @ PawsitiveTailsKC.org 🖤🤎❤️🧡💛💚💙💜🤍💜💙💚💛🧡❤️🤎🖤

Story
🐱🐱Cat Friendly 🐱🐱 We have to help Vinny stand out so he doesn’t blend in with the rest of the mob. He’s not your cousin, but he definitely could become part of your family. Why should you consider a 1-year-old dog like Vinny instead of a younger pup? Because he already follows commands like sit, kennel, down, come and paw. He’s also good on a leash, crate-trained, and house-trained. So, you don’t have to start from square one, but he’s also young enough to mold right in as a part of your gang. He weighs about 50 lbs., and he’s a pittie mix, possibly with Mastiff. Toys? Did someone say toys? He loves them all! If you have it, he’ll play with it. Vinny loves to get out and play and likes to take a walk. But he also doesn’t mind chilling on the couch or snoozing away while his foster people work from home. He sleeps well all night in his crate. He can be goofy and will make you smile. He rolls on his back and sprawls out and makes himself comfortable. Vinny plays well with other dogs, and he gets along with cats. Vinny needs people who will help him learn it is okay to trust people but also respect his boundaries. He can be shy or leery at first, so a little space and patience will help him feel at home. He should live with kids 10 or above who will give him space when he needs it. Do you think you could find a handsomer guy than this? Fuhgeddaboutit! Vinny is your dude. He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and current on flea/tick/heartworm preventatives. His adoption fee is $175. To meet him, apply to adopt at PawsitiveTailsKC.org. 🖤🤎❤️🧡💛💚💙💜🤍💜💙💚💛🧡❤️🤎🖤 APPLY @ PawsitiveTailsKC.org 🖤🤎❤️🧡💛💚💙💜🤍💜💙💚💛🧡❤️🤎🖤

Story
Sister Girl makes each of her people feel like they’re her favorite. Every person goes on feeling so special that Sister Girl always puts her head on their shoulder or lays next to them while they eat dinner – until they talk to one another, and compare notes, and find out that Sister Girl treats everyone that special! They are all her favorites. She is a 3-year-old pittie who is such a dear heart. She is still gaining weight with a healthy diet, so she’ll be 50ish lbs. of loving kindness. She has met children and adults, dogs and cats, and she does will with the kiddos, the adults, and cats too. Alas, Sister Girl would prefer to be your one & only dog in the home. She really loves her humans! As soon as you kneel down to say hi to her, she’ll give you kisses or even lean in for a full hug. Before you know it, you’ll be getting the full Sister Girl treatment and will be part of her circle. Psst, don’t tell anyone, but we have found an instant cure to a bad day: Sister Girl in your lap for pets. Better than therapy. She walks well on a leash, she’s easy-going no matter where she is, and she is eager to please. She sleeps all night, and she’s house trained and crate trained. People have a vision for the dog they want to adopt and make part of their family. Your vision may not be a black pittie girl whose heart and eyes are full of love, but ohhhh my goodness, don’t miss out on the sweetest girl. Sister Girl is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and current on preventatives for heartworm and flea/tick. Her adoption fee is $175. To meet her is to love her, so apply to adopt today at PawsitiveTailsKC.org. 🖤🤎❤️🧡💛💚💙💜🤍💜💙💚💛🧡❤️🤎🖤 APPLY @ PawsitiveTailsKC.org 🖤🤎❤️🧡💛💚💙💜🤍💜💙💚💛🧡❤️🤎🖤
