Metztli is 9 years old and has severe allergies and gets skin fungus easy and I’m in the process of trying to handle that but as of right now. But her skin is bad it has scabs all over it and she’s missing a lot of hair. She has a bad skin problem that makes her smell, and bad allergies she allergic to outside things and dust, some dog foods like pedigree. She is loving, calm, never barks, she sleeps most of the day, she’s also very smart knows how to sit, stay, come. And she likes McDonald’s. I’m looking for someone who can take care of her health issues but also be there to give her love and attention. I rarely left her alone maybe max 6 hours a day. She used to being by someone’s side she likes following you anywhere. She needs someone there for her health, emotions, and mental.

They named me Echo.  Funny name for a deaf dog, right?  Being hearing impaired doesn't stop me from being a happy, outgoing girl.  I understand hand signals for sit, stay, down and come but could really benefit from someone who can teach me more ways to help them communicate with me.  I catch on pretty quick and always look to my person for guidance.   I absolutely love people and get the wiggles when it's time for a walk.  Despite my challenge, I'm a good girl who always keeps her kennel clean.  I'm fond of a good belly crawl in the grass and long walks.  I love people so much that I want to keep them for myself.  No furry brothers or sisters for me, please.  I will settle for nothing less than being the queen of my castle.September 19, 2023, 12:02 pm

Poppy, a sweet and perfect angel! Poppy came all the way from Oklahoma where she was at a shelter which has a high euthanasia rate due to the high volume of stray animals. She was scared out of her mind and extremely underweight in a small kennel with her three 7-week old puppies. A foster for an organization in OK stepped in to help her and she was fostered with dogs and cats. This rescue needed help with Poppy and contacted MABBR.   Poppy made the drive from OK to KS and went directly into one of our fosters that also has dogs and cats! She kennels like a dream and gets along so well with her foster doggo and cat siblings. Upon arriving to her foster home, Poppy was placed in a kennel to meet the cat. The cat walked right up to Poppy and booped her nose, Poppy was so excited for her new kitty friend! Despite the long journey, Poppy did amazing in the car. We are absolutely OBSESSED with this pretty gal. She is crate trained, house trained, dog friendly, kid friendly, cat friendly….She is perfectly perfect!   She is a young girl, around 2 years old and 50lbs looking for a family to be hers for forever. That honestly makes me a little sad&#44 but Iandamp;#39;ve been trying my best to make sure every family that meets me knows just how great I am. Iandamp;#39;m potty trained&#44 know Sit and Shake&#44 and would be a great fit for a family with kids! One of my favorite activities is cuddling and having a bedtime story read to me.
