Meet Duke!He’s a big ole sleepy boy who loves naps, car rides, and is especially motivated by food! We adopted him through KCPP and is hoping to leave him in the care of a loving and doting home! He is roughly around 10 years old but is still very active and loves to take walks. He’s very friendly towards children and doesn’t act wild or jumpy. He doesn’t work well with other male dogs in the home but is fine with female dogs and other animals. Loves Farm Fresh Food and has been on diet since adoption, doesn’t work well with kibble. Only medical needs is he takes a pill Credelio once a month for flees and ticks and Heartworm prevention. We are urgently looking to rehome him soon so if you are interested or have any questions please do not hesitate to apply!We can plan a meet up and if it’s a good fit we are happy to help with transition process and will provide bed, toys, and treats!

Lily was adopted from a puppy parolee program. Her jail mate raised and trained her until her adoption in October 2023. 🐾7 yr old female 🐾Housebroken 🐾Loves cats and humans of all ages (Best in a single dog household, but does love cats) 🐾Hates nail trims but loves a good shower 🐾Kennel trained Lily does well in the country and city. She is best on the leash, or otherwise in a fenced in yard. She will also use a doggie door and loves all things outside. Snuggles and loves all the time. After training and attempts to socialize around other dogs, female or male, she is not a good fit with the company of other dogs.

Will update later. Rocky is a good boy but reactive to other dogs and has gotten out twice and wrestled another dog with no serious injuries to either. Leasing company is making us rehome him or terminate our lease. He is very good with people and children. He should ideally go to a home with a yard as hes not great on a leash when another dog appears. I will include all of his toys food, make sure his shots are up to date and whatever other help I can give to right person or peolle to take care of him. We all love him so much and will be heartbroken but we have run out of options. He loves to cuddle especially under the blankets at your feet or sleep under the bed. He is very toy and ball motivated and will love you forever if you spend a few minutes a day playing with him. Star was thrown out of a car and left as a stray back in November 2025 when I found her and took her home.She was estimated to be around 8 months old which makes her approximately 1 year old now.Star is truly a great dog! She is full of playful energy, loves to play with toys.Star gets along with dogs, cats and kids.She is kennel trained, house trained, leash trained and actually helps me train other dogs. She is great for socializing and obedience training other dogs. I would prefer her to go to a home that has another dog in the home. DOB: 12/24/19 Weight: 75 Lbs Adoption Fee: $175 includes 2 week trial to ensure everyone's happiness. Indy is 75 pounds of cuteness and cuddles. He loves cuddling next you on a couch or bed. He does good on walks especially when walking trails away from cars and other dogs. Not a fan of loud noises like fireworks or close thunder/lightning. CBD oil and thunder jackets help but only when he is leaning against you. Has not been around any cats or small children. He does good with teenagers and adults, but it takes time to feel safe around them. Ice cubes are his favorite, and he knows the sound of the ice machine. Knows when it is bedtime and just heads to sleep in his bed with his blanket. Likes to be tucked in his blanket at night. He knows the basic commands and knows to sit to wait for his food dish to be put down. Only toy he hasn’t destroyed in a few minutes is a size 5 soccer ball (slightly deflated). He does love to play fetch with a tennis ball and chase after the soccer ball. Plays great with puppies and is gentle with them. Food can never be around because he resource guards his food from other dogs, so we feel he should be an only dog in his family because of this. He takes treats very gently. Indy has been neutered, wormed, microchipped, and heartworm tested and vaccinated. This girl has had a rough life and will need a patient human willing to give her some time and space to settle into her new home.
