Max is a big boy with a huge heart! He's best described as a super cuddly couch potato. He does great in his kennel and stays very quiet and clean. He has not been around children before, so we're unsure what he would think of them. He was very interested in the resident cats while on furlough and seemed to want to play, but he did not get the opportunity to interact with them. He can be mildly dominant around new dogs, but he quickly calms down and becomes very dorky and playful.

For now, as a large, active puppy who is still learning so many things, he might be most successful in a home without small children-- he doesn't always realize he's not a tiny little lap dog! Jasper keeps his kennel clean and is fully potty trained. He is leash trained and also knows basic commands. He's super smart and highly food motivated. This boy loves loves LOVES to play and would appreciate a doggie sibling or two and a fenced yard. He has high energy but kennels well and will be a wonderful addition to a loving home!

Hey there! I'm Mala and I'm probably the happiest girl you will ever meet. I'm an active girl who loves to play with my best friend, Bob. I love toys/bones, and I'm very smart. If my foster mom wasn't lazy, I'd probably know more than the basic commands. So if you want to teach me more tricks I'd pick them up real quick. I've even taught best friend Bob how to sit. Foster mom was struggling to teach him so I took over. I like people, a lot. Sometimes I forget that I'm not supposed to jump up and give them kisses on the face. But in my defense who doesn't want to know they are loved? I've learned to coexist with the felines in my foster home and I'll leave them alone if they stay away from me and don't run when they see me. I do have a dominant personality but I also really like to play. So maybe if you have a submissive dog and are looking to get them a friend? I could be that dog! But I'd also do great as an only dog. I love car rides and walks or if running is your thing that's fun too. I'm pretty athletic so whatever fun things you want to do I'm sure I'll be good at them too! I also really love snuggles and naps on the couch. Play hard, and relax often is my motto.

Burton is a handsome gent who loves people. I mean LOVES humans. He wants to meet and get all the pets from everyone he sees. He also is a world class snuggler. Burton would make the ideal portable foot warmer because he wants to be wherever you are. He is kennel trained and doing well with potty training. But it's hard to perfect that skill in the shelter. Burton does well with dogs his size, but he is not a fan of cats or small dogs. He is an energetic boy who is doing well with leash manners. He also loves to give kisses and is still learning not to jump on people to do just that when he first sees them. Burton is a smart guy and knows commands. He also loves car rides and basically anything he can do with humans he is in favor of.
