You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.NOTE- DIAMOND IS LISTED AS A COURTESY FOR ANOTHER RESCUE ORGANIZATION. PLEASE SEE CONTACT INFO BELOW.CONTACT DEE AT k9rescueva@gmail.com Diamond- adorable, sweet, loving Blue pittie girl !! Diamond is a beautiful, affectionate blue Bully Girl who is a sweetheart who is very affectionate and loves to lean up against you for a belly rub! She’s such a sweet, humble girl. It was hard to get good pics because she just wants to snuggle, hug, and kiss. She carries her toys around like they are her babies. Diamond is quiet and reserved. She would be best as an only pet as she has tons of love to give her family. She’d be a great dog for a solo or retired person or family. She fits all bills! Ask for her videos. Diamond would thrive in a home with a fenced yard. She is people focused, and is best not having to be leash-walked and can just relax in her kingdom with her people. She loves to run in the yard, and she loves to eat ! Diamond needs a life where she can focus on her people and just give them all the love in the world for years to come. She just needs a quiet home, and she will blossom. She loves all adults, and would be fine with kids. Diamond is reactive to some other dogs, but it depends on their reaction to her. She seems to like beagles and puppies especially !  email Dee at K9RescueVa@gmail.com. IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN ADOPTING DIAMOND, PLEASE CONTACT: DEE AT k9rescueva@gmail.comVisit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.January 4, 2026, 10:46 am

She hails from the streets of Houston, TX, where she was found wandering, an unfortunately common scenario in that area. Agnes is a truly special pup in need of a fresh start with defined boundaries so that she can enjoy the world of meeting new dogs again. Aggie is sweet, silky soft, and relishes in snuggles and being close to people in general. She is very food motivated (albiet a sensitive tummy to chicken & abrupt changes in diet) and has decent recall skills (fears missing out so she always came right back whenever she had snuck out). We are confident that with consistent training, leadership and continued love, Aggie can be an excellent addition to your 'ohana' (family). Agnes is currently living in Baltimore. Her DNA report is attached. If you are interested in adopting Agnes, please contact:Jessica Cooper, email: jncooper892@gmail.comVisit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.January 5, 2026, 8:53 pm

This sweet, affectionate guy truly seems to love everyone he meets and is happiest when soaking up attention, especially his favorite thing: butt scritches! Roxer is playful and enjoys his toys, proving that age is just a number. He walks well on a leash, though he can pull a bit when he’s excited to explore. Story
Meet the Cats of Gettysburg at the Kitty Corner by Forever Love Rescue Meet Molly, a Love-A-Bull gem  You would never guess that Molly is 13 years young. With a zest for life, the classic wiggly pittie butt, and a twinkle of wonder in her chocolate brown eyes, Molly paints the perfect picture of what a man’s best friend should be. With her unwavering loyalty to her people, and her subtly sweet ways of showing love when you need it most, Molly is guaranteed to be your perfect sidekick. Molly loves a good game of tug of war; and will play round after round if you “let her win.” She also has  a fondness for her stuffed animal “babies.” They are her prized possessions. She enjoys playing her favorite self led game of “how fast can I get to the squeaker in my squeaky toy”, always aiming to beat her prior best score. Molly would never turn down an offer to play a quick game of frisbee. She may be a senior pup, but is young at heart with a playful spirit  Molly is sweetly demeanored, has a gentleness with children, and has lived calmly with feline friends prior to coming to FLR. However, she has fear aggression with other dogs, and will need to be the only dog in her new household. Molly is a strong girl! She will pull hard on her leash when excitable.  A  private or fenced in yard is a requirement for her to safely exercise and get her zoomies out. An ideal home for Molly would be in a rural area where she can live worry free of canine neighbors, and enjoy all that country life has to offer her. Molly may have plenty of pep left in her step, but she is a world class cuddler once tuckered out. She would love nothing more than to curl up beside you in bed. Relaxing and being a couch potato along with her people is Molly’s favorite way to end the day. While Molly isn’t a fan of seeing other dogs on her adventures, she loves car rides! She would love to be your passenger princess on a ride through Apple country.  Molly takes treats gently, knows a few basic commands such as sit, and is eager to please. Her people mean the world to her; she does not like to be away from them for long. A family that is home often would be most suitable for her. Molly is currently residing in a local foster home, but meetings with her can be easily arranged. Let’s find this sweet rednosed beauty the perfect home that she so very much deserves. Meet the #CatsOfGettysburg - Apply to adopt at bit.ly/AdoptFLR and we will help you find the purr-fect kitty for your family!  Visit dozens of our adoptable cats and kittens at our Kitty Corner adoption center 39 Queen St in historic Gettysburg PA on any Saturday or Sunday from 11am-3pm.  All of the cats listed are located in or near Gettysburg unless otherwise noted. Please note that while we work hard to keep our available cats up to date we also have many  that are not posted yet.  Adoption fees are $60 for adult cats and kittens over 6 months old, $100 for kittens (under 6 months) and $30 for senior cats (7 years+) to help cover vet bills for spay/neuter, basic vaccinations, testing, microchips and preventatives.  No cat will be officially adopted without being spayed/neutered and vaccinated (unless there are health risks in doing so).  We highly recommend adopting kittens in pairs and we do discount for double adoptions here to encourage it.   We are always in need of donations to help us continue to save hundreds of cats and kittens every year.  Visit bit.ly/DonateFLR for more info. Be sure to check us out on Facebook at  bit.ly/KittyCornerFB and "LIKE" our page and share our posts! SAVING ONE CAT MAY NOT CHANGE THE WORLD...BUT FOR THAT ONE CAT, THE WORLD CHANGES FOREVER!  October 3, 2025, 2:36 pm
