Story
Bikini came to us from a small rural shelter where her chances of getting out were very slim. She is a 2 yr old pit/catahoula mix and don’t let her breeds fool you. She’s a total couch potato! She has her moments of zoomies but they don’t last long. While she does live in a foster home with other dogs of all sizes, she is the queen bee and can be a little bossy so she is looking for a home with no other dogs. She loves all people she meets and she is potty trained and crate trained. She has good doggie manners but needs some work on her leash training. She is a puller on the leash but we’ve seen a lot of improvement with the ez walk harness. Bikini is located in Texas. Her adoption fee is $195 local or $395 out of state with transport and includes current shots, microchip, heartworm test and spay. Story
Cairo Est. between 6-7y.o, dropped off and left behind without agreement on keeping him had him about 4 years Thyroid Disease medicated for a few years, fell behind due to relationship with ex. my life drastically changed Broken teeth from attempted crate training (bad breath) Anxious Fireworks, loud bangs, people acting too rambunctious around him Hard to leave alone if he needs to go to the bathroom while no one is home he will destroy stuff including doorknobs, windows, electrical outlets, trash bin, etc. He has jumped out of a second story window as well as broken a single pane out of a double pane window Does not get along with small animals like cats, rabbits, besides other dogs. He is good with children as I have two. Cairo needs a home where he can be babysat 24/7 or he can get proper training. I don't have the time as a single father of two to manage him. He is a very loving cuddly lap dog, he just needs a better home. He will follow people around everywhere.

Story
Currently located in Chickamauga GA, with transportation available. Rosie came to us back in 2022 as a chained mother to a newborn litter of puppies. Her owner would not sign her over, though he did allow her to come stay with us while she nursed her puppies, and recovered. It was extremely tough though after having her vetted, we legally had to give Rosie back to her owner. Our hearts were broken. Well……fast forward nearly two years and Rosie is back with us! Her owner found himself in a tough situation and he knew we would always be there for Rosie if he ever needed to surrender her. She is having a blast being back “home”, millions of zoomies, hundreds of kisses, ridiculous amounts of toys being self tossed in the air and absolutely inhaling (and even stealing 🤣) the treat jar! We love this girl, and she always has a safe place to call home here, though having her long term means that we do not have the room to help others in need, and she definitely doesn’t get the time and attention that she deserves while here. She has lived on a log chain until she came to us, she is definitely lacking some proper socialization when it comes to mingling with other dogs, so at this time, we do think she needs to be the only pet in the home. While that cuts her adoption odds down to 5%, we are hopeful that the right person sees her listing at the right time and we can make a match! Rosie is absolutely beautiful, funny, and reeks of pure appreciation! Even though she has the right to hate humans, she is resilient and is great with all people including children. Please share her biography and visit our Facebook page for more pictures and videos. This really is an extra special girl! Story
Meet Igor (affectionately known as Iggy)! 🐾Igor, or Iggy as his friends call him, is a sweet, sensitive soul who is looking for a calm, home. A bit nervous by nature, Iggy can be shy around new people and situations, but once trust is built, his gentle personality truly shines.Iggy would do best in a quiet home with older children who understand how to give him space and move calmly. Loud noises and sudden movements can be overwhelming, so patience and kindness are key to helping him feel confident. This thoughtful pup enjoys peaceful walks, cozy resting spots, and spending time with people who let him warm up at his own pace. With consistency, reassurance, and positive encouragement, Iggy is already learning that the world isn't such a scary place after all. If you have another dog we do ask that you bring them on down so we can help facilitate a dog to dog introduction with Iggy. If you're looking for a loyal companion and have the time and compassion to help a nervous dog blossom, Igor could be the perfect match. Give Iggy the chance he deserves, and you'll gain a devoted friend for life. Feel free to come on down during our open hours 11-4 everyday EXCEPT Wednesdays.
