Story
Meet Blue – A Loyal Companion Looking for a New Home Emergent, less than a week now to find a new home, or I will unfortunately have to surrender and he may face euthanasia because of his breed. Blue is a 4-year-old American Pit Bull Terrier who’s been my beloved companion since he was 8 weeks old. Due to my son's medical needs, I can no longer give him the time and attention he deserves. Blue is affectionate, goofy, and deeply loyal to his family. He’s protective and can be unsure around strangers, sometimes barking or growling, but he has never bitten. He needs a confident, experienced owner who can continue his training and help him feel secure. Blue should be the only pet in an adult-only home where he can be the center of attention. He’s not comfortable around other animals and may be too much for a home with cats or multiple pets. With patience and love, Blue will be an incredible, devoted best friend.

MEET RIA!Ria (pronounced Rye-ah) is a playful and energetic 1-year-old dog who is still a big puppy heart! Ria is ready to bring joy and adventure to an active home. She is looking for adopters who can match her energy and are committed to continuing her training with positive, force-free methods. Ria loves human attention, but doesn`t always love dealing with the shenanigans of other pups. For this reason, she would do best as the only pet in the home, where she can shine as the star of the show. If you are ready for a fun-loving companion and are dedicated to her growth, Ria could be the fit for you! She will be waiting to steal your heart at our Boston adoption center.Ria is currently up to date on all vaccinations, has been spayed, microchipped and seen by our vet team. For more information on Ria or any other animal currently residing at the Animal Rescue League of Boston, please call us at 617-426-9170. Byson is a sweet fella who is excited to find a home of his own! He enjoys going for walks and taking long naps on the couch, preferably is there`s a human close by. Byson is super snuggly once he gets to know you and he seems to enjoy meeting new people. He`s lived with kids in his previous home and is doing great with the little ones in his foster home. Byson has a gold star history for housetraining, and is continuing his impeccable record in foster! In addition to being a world class snuggler, Byson knows some tricks too-- `Sit`, `down`, `paw` and `jump` are already part of this smart guy`s repertiore. Story
Meet Kingston — a distinguished older gentleman with just the right amount of gray on his muzzle and a twinkle of mischief still in his eye. Don’t let his age fool you — Kingston may be a senior, but he’s still got plenty of pep in his step and a love for life that shines through in every wag of his tail. He’s currently brushing up on his manners and would thrive with a patient, experienced human who appreciates the charm of a seasoned companion. Kingston can be a bit particular about his canine company, so he`s best suited to a home where he can pick his friends wisely and at his own pace.If you think this dog could be a good match for your home and would like to learn more, stop by our Boston Adoption Center.
