Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Woof! Hey there, I'm Dino, and I've got quite a story to tell. Life hasn't always been easy for me, but my spirit is unbreakable and I'm looking for a special someone to share my journey with.   I started off in a tough spot, found starving and stuck in a crate for what felt like forever. But guess what? I never lost my lively and friendly nature. I may have had a rough start, but I'm proof that love and kindness can work wonders, even in the face of adversity. My foster mom says I am the sweetest boy around. I love being close to her and cuddling any chance we get. I’m a bouncy boy and I like having lots of toys around to play with. I’m a good listener and I learn quickly. I was afraid of kennels at first, but now I feel so safe in my crate and don’t mind going in there when mom has to leave the house for a few hours. When it comes to making new dog friends, I'm a bit of a work in progress. My foster brother is a Great Dane and we are best buds, but when I meet new friends I get so excited and vocal that I can scare them off. I know I can learn better manners with other dogs with the right guidance and socialization. I'm a true survivor, and with the right person by my side, I can't wait to discover the joys of a real home and become the loyal and loving companion you've been looking for. So, are you the one to help me on this incredible journey? If you are, I'll be your faithful, four-legged friend forever. Let's make some unforgettable memories together! You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Emmy is one of the sweetest dogs we have had. She loves to cuddle on the couch with me. It took over a week for her to figure out what a toy was and now she loves to play. Emmy loves going for walks but does pull on the leash a bit. She will go in the crate but would rather stay on the dog bed. We have left her out for a couple hours and no damage was done. We will continue to update more as we get to know her but she is an absolute dream and would make a great addition to any family! Click here to see a video of me! Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Hi, I’m Peaches! My foster mom also likes to call me Peach, Peachy, Princess Peach, Mama, and Angel Baby. I want to be your new best friend! I love being close to you and getting all the lovins! Along with being extremely sweet, I am also very playful! I love to play tug with toys and chase tennis balls around. I would be super happy with a fenced in yard to run around in, but my foster mom doesn’t have one and she takes me for lots of walks. I wasn’t good at walks at first, but I’m getting a lot better! I am strong and I like to pull my foster mom around sometimes, but I usually do a pretty good job! I have a hard time with doggy intros, but with the right doggy friend I think I could get used to it! My foster mom tells me all the time how pretty I am, how much of a sweet angel baby I am, and how I am such a good girl, so I get lots of treats! I am super funny when I play with my foster mom, and I like it when she chases me, plus it makes her laugh! I love all people, including all my foster mom’s friends that show up at the house that I’ve never met before. Sometimes I jump up, so I might need a little more training for things like that. I love naps, and my foster mom can leave me home for several hours and I respect her home to the fullest!  Peaches is from a local owner surrender. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Hi I'm Coconut and I dream of a spacious yard where I can indulge in my zoom-zooms to my heart's content. Friendly and curious, I thrive in environments where I can explore safely. At my foster home, you'll often find me indulging in my favorite pastime: running and sliding across the floor. Given my playful nature, I'd likely gel well with older kids who can keep up with my antics. I'm currently learning the art of slow introductions to other pets and recently met a fellow canine friend, eager to engage in some playtime. During walks, I'm refining my leash manners, but my true joy lies in sniffing around and hopping about. Bath time? No problem – I handle it like a pro, emerging with fur as soft as velvet. While I do sleep in my kennel and voice my initial protests, I ultimately settle in, though I secretly long to snooze alongside my beloved humans.  Nothing makes me happier than belly rubs and cuddle sessions, preferably right by your side. Blessed with intelligence, I may take unconventional "shortcuts" like hopping over the coffee table rather than navigating around it. And about those "gentle nibbles" – I'm just showering you with kisses in my own unique way. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Hi there, I'm Draco! I am a sweet, shy boy looking for a relaxing home to call my own, and if I can be a little picky, someone who likes to throw ball! A few of my favorite things include, breakfast, chasing balls, dinner, chasing balls, naps, chasing balls, and lots of butt scratches, but did I mention I like chasing balls? My foster mom actually says I need to work on that, so she keeps giving me other things too to play with but nothing is quite the same! I am potty trained, crate trained and really just looking for a couch to cuddle up on with my humans. I probably should mention, I'm not too fond of the little humans, they scare me a little bit too much! And while we're on the topic of things I don't like I should also mention cats. Cats are a fun thing to chase for me. Well I think it's fun at least, but my mom is not impressed when I do it. I am working on meeting new people, some are really scary, but my foster mom and dad are teaching me that there are lots of good people out there! If you think I might be a great "catch" for your family, please fill out an application! I can't wait to find a home to call my own. Draco is from a local owner surrender. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet Martha! While she hasn't had much exposure to kids under 10, it's not likely to be a problem; she can get a bit excited sometimes, but we're working on her manners. She's quite friendly! Martha has been introduced to big/tall men and confidently greets them with a "hi!" - no shyness or fear there. She strikes a great balance between being cuddly and enjoying her own space on a dog bed. Martha loves playing with other dogs, running around, chewing bones, and playing with toys. After playtime, she loves to snuggle with her friends. She adores sprawling out over my husband for affection. Martha has a routine for mealtime, eagerly waiting in her spot for breakfast. Food time is definitely her favorite! In the mornings, she's eager to go outside first thing. Since my husband works from home, Martha spends her days playing with the other dogs and taking naps in her kennel. Some evenings, she's kenneled for a few hours while we work, and she handles it well. She also sleeps in her kennel; while she might not need to, it helps maintain our routine and manage all our dogs, and she seems to enjoy it. Martha is from a local impound. Hello! My name is Cyrus. I am a handsome boy with a HUGE heart. My ideal home is a place where I am the only pet for a multitude of redone but primarily so I get all the affection. I am a dog that loves my humans, and loves to have a routine. Everyone is constantly telling me how smart I am. I love going for car rides, playing ball, and lounging having some snuggle time. I am an avid movie buff and love a nice night in watching Netflix with a cozy blanket. Cozy blankets are a must have. I can be the biggest love bug you will ever meet, so despite the fact I don't care for other animal companions I think I am a pretty good catch. Did I mention I am super handsome? Well, at least that's what all these people keep saying. I tend to agree. Now that I'm older I have that distinguished gentleman thing going for me. If you think you might be the one I have been waiting for, fill out an adoption application. You will not regret it! I promise to win you over in no time. Story
Hi! My name is Beatrice. I am a tiny little character. I really really love when my humans are home with me as much as possible. Being alone is no fun. I get lonely. If you do leave me alone I need a strong crate that I can't break out of, but the rescue is happy to give my new home the one I use now. I have lots of energy and I love to go for walks and just enjoying the sunshine. I do well on a leash. I sometimes like to spend my afternoons catching some rays. The humans say I often look like I am contemplating life. I am really just dreaming of my new home. I get along with most dogs but I tend to play rough so it's really just best I be an only dog. Which reminds me, absolutely no cats either. I have an intense prey drive. Yea I know I have some issues, who doesn't? On the plus side I am actually really sweet. I love to just be with you and I will even give you kisses when you are sad. Hi! My name is Punkin. I am a super sweet girl once I get to know you. I love giving kisses, watching movies together, and getting yummy treats. The ideal home for me is somewhere I can be an only pet. I don't really like other animals at all. I also like to eat things I am not supposed to like dog toys so a house without kiddos that have stuff for me to chew up is best even though I love kids it's to risky for my health. I currently live a sanctuary but if the ideal home came along that would be amazing! Story
Meet Ms. Nona! Pretty name for a pretty girl. Nona is crate trained, even if she decides to mildly protest going in. It's really only because she truly just wants to be with her people. Nona would make a great hiking or walking partner to burn off her energy. A fenced in yard is ideal for her. She would just love it! Nona loves to play outside and with toys... but plan on getting tough toys if you expect them to last long! She loves attention and snuggles, and to just be with her people. She makes a great Netflix marathon companion. Nona has mixed feelings about other animals and honestly needs to be the only pet. Since she hasn't been around children much, her fosters feel that she would be best with older considerate children. Overall, Nona loves and needs structure in her life. She needs a strong leader so she doesn't have to feel like the pressure is on her and she can sit back and relax. She is smart, inquisitive and enjoys learning. Overall, she is an amazing dog that is on the search for her right Fur-Ever Home... could that be you? https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/FEHR/Dog Adoption Fee: $250

Well hello there! I'm Beefcake, my friends calls me Beefy! I'm a hunky boy who really would has to be an only pet. I'm a shorty, just 52 pounds of adorable! I am a good boy and a quick learner. I thrive with a strong leader who makes me mind my new manners I have learned. I have come a long way in rescue and I am excited to start my new life and show you how awesome I am! I really love to have my humans around. When people are gone for really long work days it makes me sad, but I do love Dog TV to keep me entertained. My favorite thing to do is snuggle up with my humans, the closer, the better! Looking for a movie watching buddy? That's me! Breakfast and dinner are my favorite times of the day and I will sit to wait for my food and then I'll make sure my bowl is clean for next time. I've been known to eat my toys so my humans watch me while I enjoy them. Story
Hi! My name is Lola. I am a super sweet, and smart girl who loves to love. I am a happy pup who didn't have a great life before I got to rescue which ultimately could have been the end for me, but I had angels looking out for me and well, here I am. When I was impounded it was loud and so scary. I was so stressed and honestly terrified. So stressed I started to loose weight, and was not my best self. One day, a nice lady came and said she was there to rescue me. I was unsure at first but she started giving me treats and when we went outside, I realized not only was she super nice, but she was getting me out of there. Even out of the shelter I continued to rapidly loose weight even though my foster dad was happy to feed me as much as I wanted. We went to the doctor and I heard them say I have EPI. I am not really sure all the technical stuff but basically I got so stressed in the shelter I likely developed this condition and I have to take meds and supplements for it. The stuff I have to take is not a big deal for me at all. In fact, I am very used to it, but anyone wanting to adopt me should know about it. I know not everyone is willing to adopt a dog that has stuff like me, but it's not my fault and I just know that after all I have been through there is someone special out there that is just waiting to love me. *FEHR does recommend any potential adopter have a discussion with their veterinarian about EPI prior to adoption so that you can be well informed on the condition from a professional* Apply to adopt online- https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/FEHR/Dog Sponsor me- PayPal.me/fureverhomerescue

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Fish is your quintessential playful and energetic pup! Plus, he's a total sweetheart, showering everyone with affection. He's quickly adjusting to his new foster home and is making remarkable progress with potty training. Crating poses no issue for him whatsoever. While he's still getting used to the older, larger resident dog, he's mastering the art of toning down his excitement and behaving politely. His encounters with cats, chickens, and horses are met with trepidation from a distance—they're quite intimidating! We'll keep you updated on his feelings toward his farmyard buddies once he's had time to settle in. When startled, he chirps or barks to express his curiosity, but settles down swiftly with a little redirection. He's astute and curious, often venturing off to investigate his surroundings. Though not overly clingy, he responds promptly when called or enticed with a fun toy. Fish is from Texas.  If you are interested in getting to know this animal better, please fill out an adoption application. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Bucket is from Texas. He was being raised by a homeless man who carried him around in a bucket along with his brother.  They were both brought into rescue after being surrendered.  Bucket and his brother have  received  proper veterinary care while in rescue, and now it's time to find them both homes of their very own here in MN.  Bucket is a sweet boy who has found the joy of toys.. lol.  He will carry one in his mouth with him almost  everywhere  he goes.  This sweet boy is not completely potty trained, but what puppy is?  He operates on the puppy schedule of sleep, eat, play and then poop.  Making sure  that  he has adequate outside time roughly 30-45 minutes after being fed is crucial to getting him  potty  trained, and repetition and consistency are always key.  Bucket is not necessarily crate trained, but will come to his crate when called and will go in and settle nicely to go to bed at night.  covering his crate with a blanket to shut out outside  stimuli  is extremely helpful while crate training a puppy as well.  Bucket is a sweet sweet boy that is a bit on the reserved side, he would benefit from a confident resident dog to show him the ways of the world, but he definitely doesn't require one as a stipulation of adoption.  This sweet boy would be happy with a lap that he can call his own, and an endless supply of stuffies/toys to carry around with him.  If you think that he just couldn't be more perfect for you, please fill out an adoption application today!  He can't wait to meet you!   If you are interested in getting to know this animal better, please fill out an adoption application.
