Story
Meet Miss Faith! She is a rambunctious, smart, sweet puppy. We estimate her to be almost 2 years old. She came to us from a severe neglect case, and was extremely skinny and unsocialized. She has come a long way since she was rescued, but still has a lot of learning to do. She loves her people once she trusts them, but has some insecurities, so slow introductions with people are key. She loves to snuggle, give kisses, and spend time chilling on the couch. She also loves to fetch and go for walks. Essentially, she is a puppy in a 2 year old body, that loves to love but has a lot of world to discover!! By the way she LOVES men, so if you are a guy looking for a new furry companion, she is your girls!!!Faith is curently in a board and train facility in LaCrosse WI (this is where her meet and greet will occur), where they are teaching her to trust new people. She does great with men and will give you a longing look until you decide to come over and say hi. She is slower to meet women, but if you avoid initial eye contact at first, and use her name with treats, she adjusts quickly. She has learned that fellow furry friends are a great thing and LOVES to play! She needs a low energy, confident dog as dogs with aniexty only feed hers. Additionally, we would also recommend a home without young children. She is so powerful, that littles may get knocked over during play time. We think with more training and discipline, she could settle into a home with older kids, but now she just has too much enery behind her love. Ideally, we are looking for a patient, disciplined adopter that can help Faith learn and grow the proper way to associate with her humans and canine friends. We know she can be a champion for her breed, and we want a family that will help her do that. She is a determined, smart, goofy girl that needs boundaries and rules to learn how life works and teach her the tools to be successful! Please at least consider a meeting to see if she is a good fit for you. We think she is truly a diamond in the rough, that deserves to have a loving family! Faith's adoption fee is $475 and will arrive fully vetted, altered, and microchipped. If interested in Faith, please fill out an application at www.newbeganimalrescue.org ##989459##

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.   Martha came to Redemption Road Rescue from a pound in TX where she was set to be euthanized due to over crowding and her sarcoptic mange. A volunteer drove down to get her to foster and she is now healthy and has a beautiful brindle coat.  Martha is a great companion and will bond tightly with her forever family. She currently has small senior dog foster siblings and would benefit from another dog who is willing and able to play with her. She is an active girl and likes walks and playing to keep busy and burn off energy. She has not been cat tested. She has played well with kids age 12+, and is very rambunctious.   Martha is doing great with potty training and lets you know when she needs to go outside. She is crate trained for when her fosters are out of the house, but sleeps in bed with them at night. She LOVES walks to burn off that energy, so she can have some couch potato time too!   Martha is a smart girl who needs a knowledgable andpatient home to help her in her transition from TX street dog to spoiled member of her forever family. Be sure to check out the photo in her bio that shows her Embark breed analysis!! Please let us know if you are interested in adopting Martha! Interested in adopting? Apply on our website ( https://www.healingheartsrescue.org/adopt )  to  set up a private meeting or check below for my adoption event schedule.   Age: 1 year; Exact DOB 03/17/2023 Dog friendly: Yes, another dog required in his home Cat friendly: Yes Kid friendly: Older, considerate children only Potty trained: Yes Crate trained: Yes   **Needs a confident dog in the home** Chance is a big love bug once he settles into his space. At a year old, he is the perfect "puppy." He is crate trained, potty trained, and good at entertaining himself. He likes to chew on toys and bones and is great at playing with all dogs. He takes treats very gently and likes to sleep on dog beds, but will welcome couch or bed snuggles if you want. He walks well on a leash, but also loves to run around our fenced in yard!  Chance was under socialized as a young puppy so he can be timid with new people, particularly men. He's made huge strides while in rescue and is also taking medication to help him with his anxiety. He is very treat motivated and with a little patience and love, he will show you what a sweet dog he can be. His ideal home would be with a single person who has another dog, but if you are willing to be patient, he would also be happy with more people in his home.  Chance is the most deserving boy and just needs some patience!  Adoption Fee: $325Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.INTERESTED IN MEETING ME? Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.   Vinny is about 12 months and only 35 lbs. He is a sweet boy that loves everyone, kids included. Vinny has done great with some dogs at his temporary foster home,  but he would do best as an only dog or with a submissive female. No cats either just to be on the safe side. Vinny was rescued from a rural pound in Ohio, just in the nick of time. He now needs a forever home so he can start to really live! Vinny is sweet, fun, and funny. He'd love to find a foster home and/or eventually a permanent loving home that will give him loads of hugs, and exercise! We do offer a foster to adopt option as well.  Interested in fostering or adopting? I came to Healing Hearts with my siblings after a bad start to life, but all is good now!  They tell me I am a complete love bug now but I won’t let that go to my head.  While I may be shy at first, after a little time I become the ultimate couch cuddle buddy. I love my foster mom and dad and all my foster kitty and dog family.  I love to play with other dogs and I have enjoyed some fun stints at doggy daycare so much. And more good news…  I am house trained and crate trained. My family has me sleep on a dog bed in their room at night and they say I sleep like a log all night. Thankfully I sleep through the night without any accidents, so my family gets to sleep.  My foster parents work from home and they say I make a perfectly quiet co-worker.  When they leave the house I go into my kennel easily.  I will need another dog to continue to learn good house skills and a fenced yard for playtime with my new dog brother/sister. I promise I will give you many kisses in exchange for a great forever family!! Apply on our website ( https://www.healingheartsrescue.org/adopt )  to  set up a private meeting or check below for my adoption event schedule.   Age: Approximately 5 years old Weight:  Dog friendly: Yes, with proper introduction  Cat friendly: Unknown Kid friendly: Yes, older respectful kids Potty trained: Yes Crate trained: Yes   Meet Faith, she has and continues to live up to her namesake. She came to Healing Hearts with 9 puppies and a sheer will to be the best Mom and to find her forever family. She has been through so much but never lost her spirit or personality. Faith immediately came to our home and trusted us; she knew things were going to get better. She never lost faith in humans even though she had reason too.   Once her 9 puppies found their forever homes she was able to start healing physically and emotionally. Her journey started with getting regular meals and gaining 20 lbs; she was underweight and put all her energy into being a good Mom! Once her puppies were weaned and adopted the next steps were getting her spayed and she unfortunately needed several teeth pulled. At this time, we also learned she required a hip surgery. She came though all procedures (and physical therapy) with an increased happiness. She trusted the process, she trusted humans, and she continued to have faith.   Faith has met and continues to be consistently introduced to new people; she LOVES everyone including kids from infants to teenagers. Her 8 year old human foster cousin is probably one of her best friends, the kids have shown her its ok to play with toys and take treats. She never knew a life of “snacks and tennis balls” prior to Healing Hearts.   She is great with other dogs with the proper introduction. She has resident husky foster sisters, and they all get along which speaks volumes to her personality coming to us with 9 puppies to watch over! Since she is used to being around us and foster siblings she would do best in a home where she could be part of a pack or with someone that is home most of the time. Her foster parents work from home and have been able to give her loads of attention all day long.   She does like the comforts of blankies, fluffy beds (under the covers all snuggled up), and a couch. She is a true miracle from where she came form to where she is now and has really adapted to a lifestyle of being pampered.   She loves going on walks, her foster parents take her on daily walks ranging from a couple of short walks of a mile or less to longer walks of 3 miles. She is great on a leash and likes to sniff a lot, so it’s a pretty casual pace! She is crate trained and house broke, she has a specific little bark/whine when she needs to go outside and she typically goes and stands next to the door.   Her foster parents would also be doing her a disservice if they didn’t mention that she has a sweet tooth, specifically, she really likes if you give her a bite of your coconut cake or your sugar cookie!   If you are looking for a pet to be by your side, someone to snuggle on the couch, and a best friend you must be introduced to Faith.
