Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.     Martha came to Redemption Road Rescue from a pound in TX where she was set to be euthanized due to over crowding and her sarcoptic mange. A volunteer drove down to get her to foster and she is now healthy and has a beautiful brindle coat.  Martha is a great companion and will bond tightly with her forever family. She currently has small senior dog foster siblings and would benefit from another dog who is willing and able to play with her. She is an active girl and likes walks and playing to keep busy and burn off energy. She has not been cat tested. She has played well with kids age 12+, and is very rambunctious.   Martha is doing great with potty training and lets you know when she needs to go outside. She is crate trained for when her fosters are out of the house, but sleeps in bed with them at night. She LOVES walks to burn off that energy, so she can have some couch potato time too!   Martha is a smart girl who needs a knowledgable andpatient home to help her in her transition from TX street dog to spoiled member of her forever family. Be sure to check out the photo in her bio that shows her Embark breed analysis!! Interested in adopting? Please complete an interest form on our website here. If you are viewing this listing on PETFINDER there is often MORE INFO ON and MORE PICS OF the animal DIRECTLY ON OUR WEBSITE. http://redemptionroadrescue.rescuegroups.org *Martha's adoption fee is $525+ tax* redemptionroad.mn@gmail.com https://www.facebook.com/RedemptionRoadRescue  All animals fully vetted appropriate for age: spayed/neutered, rabies vaccine, DHPP vaccine, 4DX test (@12 months or older), microchipped with lifetime registration, dewormed, flea/tick prevention, heartworm prevention.  *Since we typically don't know a rescue dog's actual genetics, their breed and estimated size when grown on their bio is just an educated guess based on information ond observations we have.*  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.February 28, 2025, 10:45 pm

Story
Age: Approximately 5 years Weight: 48 lbs. Dog friendly: Yes - slow intros are best for her. No dog parks. Cat friendly: No Kid friendly: Yes Potty trained: Yes Crate trained: Yes Pretty Keeva can be best described as "A Really Good Dog". Keeva loves her people and goes where they go, but she doesn't have to lay on you, just wants to be by you. She's a quiet girl and mostly vocalizes just to let you know she wants to go outside or play. She is comfortable going in her crate to rest in the evening, but prefers that the door stay open. She could easily be trained into a new comfy dog bed by the couch. She loves pillow and blankets! Keeva is pretty low energy. She will play and would love a walk but she is not high energy, so she might not be a good hiking partner. A walk around the block would be just fine. Keeva sleeps at the end of the bed nicely, quiet all night. And if she has a morning potty break, she might just lay around a little while before needing some exercise. Keeva loves to be the center of attention and wants all the treats and pets to be just for her. She will share if she has to, but it takes a human to tell her she needs to share. Like I said, Just a Really Good Dog! If that's what you're looking for, you will not be disappointed in the sweet, pretty girl! Oh, and did I tell you she’s super soft! Adoption Fee: $325

Story
Age: Approximately 4 years old Weight: 77 pounds Dog friendly: Yes. She loves all dogs. However, she has an exuberant play style, so would do best with dogs who are comfortable with that. Cat friendly: unknown Kid friendly: Yes Potty trained: Yes. She’ll sit by the door when she has to go out. Crate trained: Yes. She runs into her crate happily. She lives to get a treat when she’s inside. Teja (TAY-zha) is a sweet, gorgeous, affectionate pittie mix looking eagerly for her adoring forever family. Teja wants to be your pal, follow you around, and do whatever you do - her happy place is right next to you or in your lap. She’s also comfortable being on her own and snuggling into a pile of blankets for a nap. She loves cuddles, pets, and kindly attention of any kind. She enjoys car rides and is up for whatever adventure you go on. She’s really smart and already knows sit, down, stay, and kennel. You can ask her to sit when you want to put her leash on. She’s very cooperative and eager to please and everything is accompanied by butt wiggles. Teja has medium energy, is playful, and enjoys chewing on antlers and toys - however, she needs to be supervised with toys because she loves to tear them apart. She loves slow, sniffy walks and greeting people who want to stop and say “hi.” Her weight is a bit deceiving - she’s not a big dog, just blocky and dense with short legs. Nicknames include “Baby Hippo,” “Little Potato,” and “Baby Bunny;” her sweet demeanor and personality inspire terms of endearment. In some circumstances, she can be a little anxious but reassurances, gentle pets, and a treat help her understand that all is well. Come and meet this girl and you will fall in love. Age: Estimated DOB 3/17/2023 Dog friendly: Yes, another dog required in the home to help build confidence Cat friendly: Unknown/not tested Kid friendly: Older children only Potty trained: Yes Crate trained: Yes **NEEDS A FENCED YARD AND ANOTHER DOG IN THE HOME** Hello, My name is Lilo and I am an adorable Pittie/Great Pyrenees mix! My foster mom tells me I’m a dog’s dog. I haven’t met a canine I don’t love. When my foster home has foster puppies, I couldn’t be more excited - check out my smile in the photo above! I’m a sweet, shy dog that needs time to get comfortable with new people. I was under socialized as a young puppy so I can be very scared with new people, particularly men. I’m taking medication to help me with my anxiety and I’ve made progress while in rescue! I’m hoping to find somebody that will be patient with me as I learn to trust new people and realize humans can be pretty fun too! I love chewing on bully sticks, bones, yak chews - pretty much anything my foster family will let me chew on. My favorite place is out in the fenced yard playing with the dogs or on my spot on the couch curled up with a treat. I love going for walks and adventures with my foster family and the other dogs. I usually sleep on my spot on the couch at night. When my foster family is gone, I’m left loose with the resident dogs, but I’m also very comfortable in my crate. I am just a super sweet pup looking for a forever family. Could that be you? Fill out an application today! Adoption Fee: $325

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Sarah (fka Caziel) was an owner surrender that was formerly a stray and taken to a high kill shelter in West Texas. She was surrendered due to being adopted from their and owner moving.  She is good with other dogs and older kids, young children and cats are unknown.   She is a high energy girl that would likely be a great running partner.  Her left eye is enlarged due to a deformity but the vet says there are no concerns and she even has some siight with it.  All dogs and puppies require supervision and training. Sarah arrived in Minnesota in March 2024 and has been looking for herforever home ever since. She is potty trained, crate trained, and isquiet in her kennel all day. Sarah requires slow intros to dogs thatshe doesn’t know. It is best to keep her and a new dog separated forat least a few hours while she gets used to them. For this reason, sheis not a good dog park or brewery dog candidate. She lives with 3other dogs and loves them, but she wants to decide on her termswhether they are friends or not. Sarah has not been around cats. Sarah walks well on a leash, but she gets excited and pulls when shesees another dog or a squirrel. She is fearful of cars that drive tooclose to her, but she is great at riding in the car. She is quiet andyou’ll forget she’s there! Sarah has a good amount of energy and would benefit from a home thatcan give her consistent exercise and mental stimulation. She lovesbones and chew toys; even the tough chewer toys don’t last long withSarah! Sarah doesn’t bark often, only when she is playing and is really excited. Her love language is physical touch- she lays right on top of herfoster parents in bed and on the couch. She is the happiest girl inthe world when her foster parents come home from work- her whole bodywiggles with excitement! She will lick your face all day if you lether, and she is the ultimate snuggler. If you’re looking for a best friend for life, look no further than Sarah!  Please put in your application on our website mattysheartandsoulanimalrescue.rescuegroups.org.      Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.January 17, 2025, 12:03 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Huxley's momma was adopted from a high kill shelter in West Texas. Her adopter was told she was fully vetted and low and behold a few weeks later out popped puppies. He and his siblings were split between us and another local MN rescue. They will be altered prior to adoption however before that happens they will be available for foster or foster to adopt. They love other dogs and are around young children. Cats are generally fine with proper intros since they are so young. They are typical puppies and are very high energy.  All dogs and puppies require supervision and training.     Huxley arrived in Minnesota in October 2024 with his sister who was adopted. He is a little on the shy side, but once he gets to know you, he really opens up. Huxley lives with 3 other dogs and gets along great with all of them. They all run in the backyard and play together! He was with a cat for a few days and liked to chase them. He goes into his kennel with no issues and is quiet. Huxley walks well on a leash, but he gets nervous while you’re putting the leash on. Once it’s on and you’re outside, he is ready to explore and sniff every rock and blade of grass you can find! He is not potty trained yet, but his foster mom is working on it! Huxley loves toys and bones of any kind and is also very food motivated, which is great for training. He knows how to sit and will give you the sweetest puppy dog eyes, hoping you’ll share a bite ofyour food! He has big floppy ears that bounce all over when he runs-it is the cutest thing ever! His foster mom is working on his recall- he sometimes doesn’t like to come in from outside! He has too much fun exploring the yard and chewing on sticks and leaves! Huxley rides well in the car- he is quiet and takes a nap the whole ride. His favorite hobby is putting his paws up on the kitchen counter to see what you have up there (he’s very curious) so make sure to push your food and decorations back when Huxley is around! He’s very much a puppy and will chew on things like shoes, cords, and pillows if given the chance. If you’re looking for a sweet boy, look no further than Huxley! Story
Hi there, I’m Boomer Jr., but my foster mom calls me Boom! I’m about a year old Boxer mix and a total lovebug. I made my way to Minnesota all the way from North Carolina after a hurricane so the shelter there could help more pups in need. Now, I’m ready to find my forever home!   I’m the good boy—fully potty trained, kennel trained, and eager to learn. I’ve already mastered "sit," "lay down," and "get down," and I’m super food-motivated, so teaching me new tricks will be a breeze. I love making doggie friends, especially bigger ones, because sometimes I forget my size and play a little too hard with the tiny pups. I would need a home with another dog because I love to play!   I’m also great in the car—I’ll just curl up and relax while you drive. I do get a bit nervous around new people and might bark or growl at first, but give me a treat or two, and I’ll be your best friend in no time. Because of this, I’d do best in a home without small kids, as sometimes I am anxious.   I’m a playful guy with lots of energy, so a fenced yard would be perfect for me to zoom around in. I love my toys and love antlers and bones to chew on.    If you’re looking for a loyal, loving, and fun companion, I’m your pup. I can’t wait to meet you and start our adventures together!    Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, Alter, Prepaid microchip, Dewormed, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate), Distemper combo vaccine(s) appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX (over 6 months of age), Flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Story
Meet Avery!  Avery traveled with her siblings from North Carolina after the hurricane. She was born in late August and we believe she is a  Mountain Cur/Boxer mix. Avery is full of puppy energy and loves to give puppy kisses. Avery loves her food but isn't possessive. She is learning to go outside to do her business and is using the doggy door. Going in her kennel can be hard but will settle down after a little bit of whining. She is sleeping almost through the night as well.  She is starting to explore more and gaining her confidence.  Avery got along with other dogs at her first foster home. Currently, there are cats but they don't like puppies. Avery checks them out and is learning to give them space. Avery loves kids and is trying to figure out that they are not puppies. She loves toys and is constantly finding things to play with. She loves interactive/brain toys.  If you're an active person who enjoys exploring, Avery would be the perfect companion to join you on your journeys. This sweet girl is ready to find her forever home!     Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, Alter, Prepaid microchip, Dewormed, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate), Distemper combo vaccine(s) appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX (over 6 months of age), Flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue.
