You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Hi, my name is Crash—nice to meet you! I’m a tall, handsome, and docile guy who’s ready to find my forever family.  I love going for jogs with my foster mom. I do pull some on the leash when I’m excited but overall I am a good boy on a walk and love outdoor adventures.   I also  love spending time with my foster kids in the yard playing and enjoying the sunshine. They say I look like Scooby Doo and we solve mysteries together hiding the bone for me to find.  I’m friendly with all humans, including kiddos—can you believe I even know my size?  I have a kind gentle demeanor. I like to show you how lovable I am by laying my big head in your lap stealing kisses.   Car rides are my favorite. I go with every day to pick up my foster kids from school. Sometimes we even stop for a yummy ice cream treat. I love pup cups!  Click here to see me trotting around my yard!  And check out this  video  of me walking on leash and  this one  of me just being cute!   I’m really a mellow guy who is up for some exercise or watching movies on the couch. Story
Location: Rice, MN Meet Bowie, aka Squash (his official foster name), a one-year-old bundle of love and energy! This sweet, affectionate boy thrives on companionship and would do great in a home with another dog to help burn off his playful energy. He does excellent in a kennel, and gives you occasional sad groans and sighs because he’d rather be with you! He’s a fan of cuddling up at night and can be found snuggling against your legs while you sleep if you let him. Bowie loves kids but his high-energy and playful, Boxer-style “hugs” (using his front legs) may need a little work to perfect. May do best with older kids. Bowie is curious but not aggressive toward cats and LOVES running in a fenced yard, playing keep-away. He’s learning leash skills but needs some guidance due to his excitement on walks. While he’s not an escape artist, his love of chase means you’ll need to be quick to catch him if he gets out! However, Bowie is highly food motivated, which helps with training. He’s house-trained with a consistent routine and enjoys being let out frequently. Bowie would thrive in an active home with a fenced yard, or with someone who loves outdoor adventures. If you’re looking for a fun, loving, and loyal companion, Bowie just might be the perfect fit! Please contact his foster for more details on Bowie/Squash and to meet this darling, beautiful boy! His and his siblings DNA show him to be 65% Boxer, 25% Bulldog, and the rest Shepherd. ----- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org). Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Hi, I’m Diem—a playful, happy-go-lucky puppy with a zest for life that’s as big as my heart. I may have wobbly back legs, but don’t let that fool you! My unique walk doesn’t slow me down one bit. I’m always on the move, living life with energy and joy. Toys are my absolute favorite—whether it’s squeaky ones, chew toys, or something to chase, I’m all in. And when playtime is over, you’ll find me snuggled up for a cozy nap. I’m a pro at bedtime, settling down quietly in my kennel so you can get a good night’s sleep. I’m also working on potty training and learning to pace myself at mealtime (I get so excited about food!). Diem’s journey is a little different from other pups. She was born with a congenital spinal deformity that makes her movements unique. While her back legs sometimes have a mind of their own, she’s a determined little explorer who gets around just fine. She will benefit from continued rehabilitation to build strength and mobility, and she’s already making great progress with weekly physical therapy, which will need to be continued after adoption to support her long-term health and mobility. Diem does have urinary and fecal incontinence, which might require lifelong diaper use. Despite this, she’s an incredibly loving companion who doesn’t let her condition hold her back. If you’re looking for a special pup with a huge personality, Diem could be the perfect match. She’ll fill your days with laughter, cuddles, and so much love. Are you ready to continue Diem’s journey and give her the care and love she deserves? Diem was a stray. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Dominoes is making great progress with sharing her food, toys, and treats! While she's learning to be comfortable around other animals near her valued possessions, she's always been ok to have her people around her things. Dominoes is still learning to greet new people and other dogs with confidence. She can be a bit vocal when meeting strangers or seeing them outside, but we're working on positive socialization to help her feel more secure in these situations. Dominoes is generally a quiet and independent housemate, though she may alert you to unfamiliar sounds outside. Leash training is an ongoing adventure! Dominoes has a lot of enthusiasm for walks, and we're using positive reinforcement techniques to help her learn to walk politely on a leash. She's a strong little girl and eager to explore!" Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet Indigo, better known as Indy (or Indy 500 when she gets the zoomies)! In just her short life, lil mama has been through a lot: as her belly folds suggest, she was used by her past owner for breeding. When they no longer needed her, she was dumped at animal control. Thankfully, after three weeks of that nonsense, she finally got a second lease on life in a foster home!   Indy is first and foremost a lover. She is an A++ cuddler and will nestle her hippo noggin into you like you are long lost besties. As a moderate energy girlie, she both loves to explore and play but is also able to settle and nap of her own volition. In just her first couple of weeks in foster care, she’s caught on beautifully to positive reinforcement training and has learned that she can look to her human for support when she’s feeling uncertain. We’re currently working up to feeling more certain around other dogs, as well as learning how to channel our prey drive in safe yet fulfilling ways.   She’s a strong woman, both in terms of resilience and physicality, so her forever human should have muscles. Her forever home would also ideally have a fenced yard, in part to allow her the freedom of movement she needs and also because the girl lives for a good food scatter foraging session, which we do daily! She also loves her stuffies (especially if they squeak or oink), as well as balls, flirt pole, snore-laden naps, butt scritches, and generally just spending time with you. Indy has so much love to give. So if you’re ready for your heart to explode, there’s no doubt that Indy is too.   What makes Indigo special? She loves wormy-worming in grass. She'll also sometimes randomly grab a stuffy and parade around the house with it in her mouth, which is very endearing. If you like a dog that snores, Indy's excellent at that as well. She is also a wiggle butt, especially when you come back home. Lately, when I come back home, she's figured out that I won't pay her attention until she calms down, and in an effort to calm herself down, sometimes she'll try to offer a sit, but she's so excited that she'll be tip-tapping her feet whilst huffing and grunting, trying to keep it together. Another thing that makes me smile is how she's starting to enjoy learning, and it's rewarding to see a new concept click for her.     Indigo  is from a local impound.
