Story
Location: Savage, MN Hello! My name is Storm! The name only fits me sometimes - I can be a bit of a tornado when my humans come home from work or right when I get my day started, but I calm down pretty quickly and transform into the biggest cuddle bug. Don't let my stoic pictures fool you.. I am a happy boy who doesn't hold back my love! Not to squeak my own toy, but my foster parents say I am the easiest foster they have ever had. The crate isn't my favorite place to be, but I hang out in there just fine, and will even sleep in there if I have to. I LOVE my big foster brothers! We run around the yard and play and then snuggle up together for a nap. They showed me the ropes and let me right in to their pack (after a proper slow introduction, of course!). I'd love a fur sibling of my very own to grow up with! I do sometimes pull on my leash when we go out for walks, but ya can't really blame me because the world is just so exciting, am I right!? I can't wait to find my forever family and bring them as much joy as I've given my foster family. What are you waiting for??? Apply to meet me so I can show you how amazing I am! My tiger stripes look even cooler in person, just sayin'.. -------------- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org). Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, all age-appropriate vaccinations (distemper, rabies, and bordetella), heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, heartworm test (dogs), FIV/FeLV test (cats), dewormed, and microchip implant (including registration). Rescue Network is strictly foster based which means all adoptable animals are in a home and there cannot be a meet until an application is submitted and approved. We have no way of knowing the breeds in the animals. All breeds listed are best guess.

Story
Location: Shakopee, MN Who doesn't love a good Potato (we have been calling him tato)! He is an almost 9 week old possible boxer mix. I think he will be on the smaller side as his paws aren't very big. He is curious but a little cautious. He is the best snuggler and likes to touch his person while he sleeps. He does the cutest butt wiggle when he is super excited! He may be small but he makes up for it with a big personality! He would do best with another dog who can teach him the ropes. He is doing well with potty training and does great in the crate. He hasn't met something he hasn't liked yet. ----- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org). We often do not know what mix they are and have to base it on what we think they look like, and base it on breeds often found in the area they came from. Most of our dogs who have gotten DNA tests done are 4-10 breeds mixed together. Because their breed mix is a guess we cannot guarantee a 'full grown size' of many of our younger animals.Interested in adopting me? Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Woof! Hey there, I'm Dino, and I've got quite a story to tell. Life hasn't always been easy for me, but my spirit is unbreakable and I'm looking for a special someone to share my journey with.   I started off in a tough spot, found starving and stuck in a crate for what felt like forever. But guess what? I never lost my lively and friendly nature. I may have had a rough start, but I'm proof that love and kindness can work wonders, even in the face of adversity. My foster mom says I am the sweetest boy around. I love being close to her and cuddling any chance we get. I’m a bouncy boy and I like having lots of toys around to play with. I’m a good listener and I learn quickly. I was afraid of kennels at first, but now I feel so safe in my crate and don’t mind going in there when mom has to leave the house for a few hours. When it comes to making new dog friends, I'm a bit of a work in progress. My foster brother is a Great Dane and we are best buds, but when I meet new friends I get so excited and vocal that I can scare them off. I know I can learn better manners with other dogs with the right guidance and socialization. I'm a true survivor, and with the right person by my side, I can't wait to discover the joys of a real home and become the loyal and loving companion you've been looking for. So, are you the one to help me on this incredible journey? If you are, I'll be your faithful, four-legged friend forever. Let's make some unforgettable memories together! Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Emmy is one of the sweetest dogs we have had. She loves to cuddle on the couch with me. It took over a week for her to figure out what a toy was and now she loves to play. Emmy loves going for walks but does pull on the leash a bit. She will go in the crate but would rather stay on the dog bed. We have left her out for a couple hours and no damage was done. We will continue to update more as we get to know her but she is an absolute dream and would make a great addition to any family! Click here to see a video of me! Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet Plum but we affectionately refer to her as Alice, a name that seems to resonate well with her, even though her response to names is not particularly strong yet. Alice is thriving and displays a gentle and sweet demeanor, especially towards my 11-year-old son. Evidently, she has spent considerable time with children and relishes their company. She eagerly joins my son in bed, finding her way under the covers to peacefully doze off—a clear indication of her yearning for a permanent home. Alice's physical attributes contribute to her charm, boasting surprisingly soft fur and a tender face, possibly hinting at some American Bulldog lineage. She delights in showering affection by licking faces endlessly and enjoys being cradled on her back like a baby for extended periods. While she responds well to commands like "crate up," occasional reinforcement is needed. Generally quiet and composed once settled, Alice has never indulged in people food, eliminating any begging behavior. However, if something piques her interest, she positions herself as close as allowed, even attempting to snatch it if not deterred. Her recall skills, especially outdoors, are lacking, likely stemming from a past where she had ample freedom to roam. Reactivity and impulse control pose challenges, particularly around lawnmowers, other dogs, loud vehicles, and joggers. Her behavior around these situations can be unpredictable at times so it necessitates careful management with a gentle leader and harness. A friend, who is a dog trainer, has confirmed these challenges but believes they are not insurmountable, with patience and professional guidance. Residing in a wooded area with a fenced yard, Alice spends her time observing wildlife, offering a positive outlet for her energy. She coexists well with another dog in the household, and her occasional resource guarding has significantly diminished over time. Despite some stubbornness, Alice is bright and quick to learn when motivated. Her sleep habits lean towards a more laid-back hound-like pattern, not exhibiting an early riser tendency. Alice's athleticism shines through in the backyard, where she bounces energetically and engages in enthusiastic pursuits. It's worth noting that she has endured past abuse, evident in moments of flinching during seemingly innocuous activities, highlighting the importance of understanding her background in shaping her behavior. Overall, with the right guidance and patience, Alice, the sweet and spirited dog, has the potential to overcome her challenges and thrive in a loving forever home. Plum is from a local impound.
