Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.   Look at little Louie! Could he be any cuter!? Louie is about 5.5 months old, and he weighs about 20-25 pounds. He was rescued from a home up North that was basically keeping him outside. But his new owner resident dog is not accepting him. Louie is friendly, happy, a sweet little guy that has lived with other dogs, cats and kids under 5 years old even. We were told his mother may have been a Bulldog/Boxer mix? And dad may have been a pitbull bulldog mix? Mother is more certain. He is on the road to being housetrained but still in the process of nailing it. Would someone out there like to foster little Louie? Or interested in adopting? Let us know! We think Louie would do best in a home where someone is home most of the time, at this young age. http://redemptionroadrescue.rescuegroups.org/forms If you would like to learn more about this pup, please submit an interest form on our website:    https://redemptionroadrescue.rescuegroups.org/forms/ If you are viewing this listing on PETFINDER there is often MORE INFO ON and MORE PICS OF the animal DIRECTLY ON OUR WEBSITE. http://redemptionroadrescue.rescuegroups.org *Puppy adoption fees range from $450-$550 + Mn tax* redemptionroad.mn@gmail.com https://www.facebook.com/RedemptionRoadRescue  All animals fully vetted appropriate for age: DHPP vaccine, lepto vaccine, rabies vaccine, 4DX test (@8months or older),  microchipped with lifetime registration, dewormed, flea/tick prevention, heartworm prevention.  *Since we typically don't know a rescue dogs actual genetics, their breed and estimated size when grown on their bio is just an educated guess based on information and observations we have.*  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.June 28, 2026, 8:45 pm

Meet Amy  A beautiful Boxer/Lab mix with a heart of gold and eyes that will melt yours. Amy is the definition of a sensitive soul. She’s happiest right by your side—whether she’s quietly keeping you company or soaking up all the cuddles you can give. And don’t forget her favorite comfort: her blankie! Amy loves to burrow underneath it, just poking her nose out to check in on you—it's as adorable as it sounds.  Why You’ll Fall in Love with Amy: The Perfect Travel Buddy – Amy loves car rides and is always ready to hop in for your next adventure. A+ Student – She’s fully potty trained and already knows her “sit” and “stay.” She’s eager to please and a wonderful listener. Gentle & Affectionate – Amy forms deep, meaningful bonds with her people and thrives on love and connection. Great Walking Partner – She enjoys her daily walks and does well on a leash. Amy has also met a cat in her temporary foster home and politely chose to ignore it—what a lady!  What Amy Needs in a Forever Home: Amy can be a bit of a wallflower at first. She’s sensitive to loud or sudden noises and can be unsure around other dogs. With guidance from trainers, she’s already making great progress and does well when given space from other dogs—she’s learning every day! Because of this, Amy would do best in: A calm, patient home that will help her continue building confidence A single-family house, where there are fewer unexpected noises A home where she can feel safe, understood, and loved at her own pace  The Reward: Give Amy a little patience and a peaceful environment, and she’ll give you a lifetime of loyalty, trust, and the coziest snuggles you could ever hope for.   Ready to make Amy part of your family? If you have a quiet home and a big heart, Amy could be your perfect match. Not able to adopt right now? You can still help! Share Amy’s story—her perfect forever home is out there waiting.        Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, Alter, Prepaid microchip, Dewormed, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate), Distemper combo vaccine(s) appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX (over 6 months of age), Flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Story
Hi there, I’m Boomer Jr., but my foster mom calls me Boom! I’m about a year old Boxer mix and a total lovebug. I made my way to Minnesota all the way from North Carolina after a hurricane so the shelter there could help more pups in need. Now, I’m ready to find my forever home!   I’m the good boy—fully potty trained, kennel trained, and eager to learn. I’ve already mastered "sit," "lay down," and "get down," and I’m super food-motivated, so teaching me new tricks will be a breeze. I love making doggie friends, especially bigger ones, because sometimes I forget my size and play a little too hard with the tiny pups. I would need a home with another dog because I love to play!   I’m also great in the car—I’ll just curl up and relax while you drive. I do get a bit nervous around new people and might bark or growl at first, but give me a treat or two, and I’ll be your best friend in no time. Because of this, I’d do best in a home without small kids, as sometimes I am anxious.   I’m a playful guy with lots of energy, so a fenced yard would be perfect for me to zoom around in. I love my toys and love antlers and bones to chew on.    If you’re looking for a loyal, loving, and fun companion, I’m your pup. I can’t wait to meet you and start our adventures together!    Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, Alter, Prepaid microchip, Dewormed, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate), Distemper combo vaccine(s) appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX (over 6 months of age), Flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Story
Welcome Honey to CCPAL foster Program. Honey is a 3 year old Boxer mixed dog. She is potty trained. We think Honey survived the flood in Kerrville. A good samaritan has taken her in and is giving her good nutrition and love until we find her forever home. She was really scratched up and had a wound on her front left leg. She will be spayed soon and she is going to the vet again for a follow up on her leg. Our guess is it may have gotten broken and healed back on it’s own due to what she has gone through. She is good on a leash, very loving and bonds deeply. She lives with 5 cats right now but she is much too interested and we feel her best home would be without cats. She loves all people and no one is a stranger. She is good with dogs her size and is an energetic girl. Her best home would be with an active and ourdoorsy family that wants a great companion to join them in their outdoor fun. She is looking wonderful and filling out nicely in her new foster home. She lost some muscle around her bum area due to the length of time she was without food. Despite this, she would make an amazing family pet. She would love to be the only dog and be the center of her families attention. She weighs about 40 pounds and is a taller dog but medium weight. She is great in a car and would make a great dog in settings where lots of people are around. She is lower in shedding. She will be getting spayed soon and ready for her forever home. She is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. Her adoption fee is 300 and transport is 200. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email to ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions. Story
Hi, I’m Bodhi — a soft-hearted little pittie learning that the world can actually be a pretty safe place. I came into foster care scared and unsure, but every day I get a little braver. Once I trust you, I’m the sweetest cuddle bug around. I love to press into my people for hugs and let out the biggest sighs of relief when I feel safe. I’m very food motivated (seriously… snacks are the way to my heart), and I already know “sit,” “shake,” and “kennel.” I ride amazingly in the car, love comfy blankets, and am perfectly happy curling up quietly in my crate or under a desk while you work. I’m also a big fan of toys, water, and hanging out with my dog friends — having another calm, confident dog around really helps me feel secure. I’m still nervous with new people, especially men, and I need a patient home that will let me move at my own pace. Loud noises, fast movements, and too much chaos can make me unsure again, so I’d do best with older, dog-savvy kids or calm adults who understand dog body language and are willing to build trust slowly. The good news? I want to trust. I’m curious, eager to be included, and getting braver every day. I’m house-trained now, quiet at home, and doing great learning routines. I do still pull on leash when I get excited, especially if food or outdoor time is involved, but I’m already working on my manners with an easy-walk harness. And fair warning: when I’m stressed, my tummy — and my farts — can become very expressive. More than anything, I’m looking for a gentle home that will give me patience, reassurance, snacks, and lots of love. I may take a little extra time, but I promise I’m worth it.

Story
Bailey is the kind of dog who approaches life with full-body enthusiasm and a wagging tail. She loves people, adores other dogs, and seems convinced that everyone she meets is her new best friend. Since she’s still very much a young dog, she’s working on expressing that excitement a little more politely (jumping up to say hello is still a work in progress), but she’s eager to learn and responds well to guidance from both people and canine friends. Playtime is Bailey’s favorite thing. Fetch is absolutely her jam, and she also loves games of chase, wrestling with dog pals, splashing in water, and even bath time. She plays hard for a good 20–30 minutes, then happily settles in for a cozy nap or relaxes by your side to recharge. Bailey is an affectionate sweetheart who leans in for pets, flops over for belly rubs, and wants to be wherever her people are. She sleeps quietly in her crate and keeps it clean overnight. She already knows “sit” and is making great progress with potty training and leash manners (she still occasionally remembers she’s a puppy and tries to turn the leash into a toy). Loud noises and household sounds don’t seem to bother her much. Bailey’s perfect match is someone who will embrace her playful spirit while continuing her training and giving her plenty of adventures, enrichment, and opportunities to socialize—especially with dog friends. In return, she’ll bring endless fun, affection, and joy to everyday life.

Story
Hi, I’m Mariachi, also known as Coco! Through no fault of my own, I’m looking for a new family because my beloved owner’s medical needs have made it difficult to give me the active lifestyle I enjoy. While this change is hard for everyone, my family wants to make sure I find a home where I can continue to thrive and be loved as much as I deserve. My family says I’m one of the smartest dogs they’ve ever met, and honestly, I think they might be right. I absolutely LOVE learning new things, especially when treats are involved. I know lots of commands, including sit, down, place, kennel, spin, twirl, crawl, leave it, and more. I’m incredibly food-motivated and enjoy puzzles, enrichment toys, and anything that makes me use my brain. If there’s a job to do, I’m interested! Whether it’s scent work, learning tricks, hiking, playing games, or simply helping supervise household activities, I’m happiest when I’m included. I take my role as household detective very seriously, which means I need to thoroughly inspect every interesting smell on walks. Every tree, bush, and patch of grass has important news that requires investigation. I’m also a playful, athletic girl who loves fetch and tug. Fetch is one of my absolute favorite activities—I’ll chase a ball until I’m completely exhausted and then dramatically flop onto the ground as though I’ve just finished competing in the Olympics. Tug toys are wonderful too, although I’m not picky. Fancy dog toys are great, but homemade toys made from old jeans might be even better. I also enjoy zooming around the house or yard, especially if there’s a bed I can race under. Sometimes I’ll pause in my special "zoomie cave" to bark before launching myself back into action. My family finds this hilarious, and honestly, so do I. Despite all that energy, I have a very sweet and gentle side. I’m affectionate with my people and love attention. My favorite cuddle time is first thing in the morning when I can stretch out beside you for belly rubs before the day begins. In the evenings, I’m happy to relax on the couch and enjoy some quality snuggle time. I’m friendly with new people, though men wearing hats sometimes make me pause for a moment while I figure them out. Once I’ve had a chance to sniff and collect the facts, I’m usually ready to become friends. I’ve also been around young children and have always been gentle with them. Even when I’m excited about treats, I take them very softly from your hand. I’m crate trained and comfortable spending time in my kennel, but I’ve also earned enough trust to relax loose in the house when my family is away. I’ve lived successfully in both a house with a fenced yard and an apartment. While I’ve adapted beautifully to apartment life, I’ll admit that I absolutely loved having a yard where I could sunbathe, patrol for squirrels, zoom around, and conduct my important neighborhood inspections whenever I pleased. If my new home has a fenced yard, I’ll probably think I won the lottery. I get along well with other dogs and tend to be more submissive than pushy. Sometimes my fur stands up when I’m excited or intensely interested in something, but it’s never because I’m being aggressive. It’s just my way of saying, "WOW! THIS IS REALLY INTERESTING!" I also have pretty good recall and enjoy staying close to my people. On leash, I start walks with lots of enthusiasm and sniffing, but after I settle in, I walk much more politely. With a little consistency, I think I’ll be an excellent walking partner. Now, in the interest of complete honesty, there is one thing you should know: I am a highly accomplished stuffed-animal destroyer. Dog toys? Fair game. Children's stuffed animals left on the floor? Also fair game. Stuffed animals placed safely out of reach? Perfectly secure. I know the difference. I simply make my own choices. My work is thorough, and the resulting fluff explosions can be quite impressive. Fortunately, this is one of the only flaws my family has managed to identify. Most of all, I’m a dog who wants to be part of the family. I want to know what you’re doing, where you’re going, and whether I’m invited. I’m curious, funny, affectionate, playful, intelligent, and full of personality. My family often says I’m part dog, part detective, part athlete, part comedian, and part demolition expert. They also say I’ve made them laugh every single day. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who will keep you entertained, keep you company, and love you with her whole heart, I’d love to meet you.
