Story
Location: Otsego, MN Meet Charlie! If you’re looking for a happy-go-lucky, tail-wagging best friend, this is your guy! This sweet boy lives life with enthusiasm and a big, goofy grin. At just 2 years old, he’s the perfect mix of playful energy and growing maturity. He’s fully housetrained and does wonderfully when left out in the home — no mischief here! While he’s not a fan of the kennel (he’d much rather be near his people), he settles in beautifully in a cozy house environment. This playful pup absolutely loves toys — squeaky toys, balls, ropes… you name it! He’s also a big fan of making doggy friends and would thrive with another playful pup or regular playdates. Even better? He adores kids and would make an amazing family dog. His gentle, happy nature makes him a wonderful companion for a home full of laughter and activity. If you’re ready for a loyal companion who will greet you every day like it’s the best day ever, this sweet Boxer mix is waiting to meet you. Could your home be his happily-ever-after? 🐾 --------------- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org). Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, all age-appropriate vaccinations (distemper, rabies, and bordetella), heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, heartworm test (dogs), FIV/FeLV test (cats), dewormed, and microchip implant (including registration). Rescue Network is strictly foster based which means all adoptable animals are in a home and there cannot be a meet until an application is submitted and approved. We have no way of knowing the breeds in the animals. All breeds listed are best guess.

Story
Who’s that handsome face? It’s Boss! Born in mid-September 2025, this Boxer mix heartthrob is already proving he’s got the whole “good boy” thing down. Boss walks like a champ on a leash, is rocking his potty training, and snoozes quietly in his kennel at night (and even during the day while his people are away). Basically… he’s beauty and brains. Boss is fueled by two main passions in life: snacks and fun. He loves to eat, loves to play, and brings a joyful, bouncy energy wherever he goes. He’s social, too — he gets along great with kids and adults, other dogs and has even met cats like a polite little gentleman. What’s missing from Boss’s story? His forever family. He’s ready to trade puppy kisses, tail wags, and lifelong loyalty for a cozy spot in your home (and maybe a few treats). If you’re looking for a fun-loving, well-started pup who’s ready to grow up by your side, Boss is waiting to meet you! Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, Alter, Prepaid microchip, Dewormed, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate), Distemper combo vaccine(s) appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX (over 6 months of age), Flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Story
Hi there, I’m Boomer Jr., but my foster mom calls me Boom! I’m about a year old Boxer mix and a total lovebug. I made my way to Minnesota all the way from North Carolina after a hurricane so the shelter there could help more pups in need. Now, I’m ready to find my forever home!   I’m the good boy—fully potty trained, kennel trained, and eager to learn. I’ve already mastered "sit," "lay down," and "get down," and I’m super food-motivated, so teaching me new tricks will be a breeze. I love making doggie friends, especially bigger ones, because sometimes I forget my size and play a little too hard with the tiny pups. I would need a home with another dog because I love to play!   I’m also great in the car—I’ll just curl up and relax while you drive. I do get a bit nervous around new people and might bark or growl at first, but give me a treat or two, and I’ll be your best friend in no time. Because of this, I’d do best in a home without small kids, as sometimes I am anxious.   I’m a playful guy with lots of energy, so a fenced yard would be perfect for me to zoom around in. I love my toys and love antlers and bones to chew on.    If you’re looking for a loyal, loving, and fun companion, I’m your pup. I can’t wait to meet you and start our adventures together!    Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, Alter, Prepaid microchip, Dewormed, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate), Distemper combo vaccine(s) appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX (over 6 months of age), Flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Story
Herman is a sweet, affectionate boy who loves everyone he meets. He has a big heart, a gentle spirit, and a playful side that makes him an absolute joy to have around. Whether he’s running around the yard, playing with toys, or soaking up attention from his people, Herman is always ready to bring a smile to your face. He loves kids and truly enjoys being part of a family. Herman is also house trained and crate trained, making him an easy and well-mannered companion in the home. At the end of the day, his favorite place to be is snuggled up in bed with you, soaking in all the love he can get. Herman would do best in a home without cats, but he makes up for it with how much he adores people. He’s playful, cuddly, and always ready for adventure or a nap — whatever you’re in the mood for. If you’re looking for a loving, loyal dog who gives his whole heart, Herman is your guy!   Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, Alter, Prepaid microchip, Dewormed, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate), Distemper combo vaccine(s) appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX (over 6 months of age), Flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Story
Amy is a sweet, soulful 3-year-old Boxer/Lab mix with a gentle heart and a sensitive soul. Most of the time, she’s an absolute love—affectionate, attentive, and happiest when she’s cuddled up with her people (or soaking in some quiet companionship).   Amy can be a bit timid and startles easily, as she’s very alert and aware of her surroundings. Because of that, she sometimes needs space when she’s feeling overwhelmed. While she enjoys playing and cuddling with other dogs, she can occasionally snap if she’s had enough.   She’s fully potty trained, listens very well, and already knows her sit and stay commands. Amy is also a fantastic walking buddy and absolutely loves going for car rides—she’s always ready to be your co-pilot.   Amy would do best with a patient, understanding family who can give her a calm environment, clear boundaries, and lots of love. In return, she’ll reward you with loyalty, snuggles, and a deep, genuine bond.   If you’re looking for a devoted companion who just wants to feel safe and loved, Amy may be your perfect match.      Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, Alter, Prepaid microchip, Dewormed, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate), Distemper combo vaccine(s) appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX (over 6 months of age), Flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Story
Meet Star … this goofy little sweetheart — the pint-sized clown who’s guaranteed to make you laugh every single day! She’s got the silliest, most lovable personality. Her tiny legs move at lightning speed when she gets the zoomies (and oh boy, does she love her zoomies). When she’s not sprinting around the yard or rolling in the cool grass, she’s probably snoring like a tiny freight train during her nap — she’s a total snorer! Her adorable tongue hangs out of the side of her mouth thanks to her slightly off-center jaw, which only adds to her irresistible charm. And those big blue eyes? Always watching to see if you’re paying attention to her antics! She gets so excited to meet new people — she just wants love from everyone and can hardly contain her joy. We’re working on her jumping because sometimes her heart gets ahead of her manners, but it’s all out of pure happiness. She’s been through some tough times, and you can tell she’s ready for the good life she truly deserves. She did okay during her dog test at animal control but after being with us in foster care for a few weeks, she seems very selective. Might be best if she’s the only dog. Cats are a hard no … and because of her personality, kids who are older and respectful of her antics. Her goofy personality shines in everything she does — from the way she plays with her toys to her little “derpy” grin. The lady at animal control said if she had her own soundtrack, it would be the sound of a tuba as she walks — and honestly, that’s pretty spot-on! This silly, snuggly, tongue-out, tail-wagging girl is ready to fill your home with laughter, love, and plenty of zoomies! Star is from a local shelter.
