Meet Mickey your new best buddy! Unfortunately Mickey needs a new home due to my declining health. Mickey is a 2 year old pitbull / German shepherd mix that weighs about 70 pounds. He's crate trained, microchiped, and current on all his vaccines. He doesn't live with kids but there are kids at the house often who he does ok with. He can be too energetic for them. He does live with a smaller dog and a larger dog of which he does fine with. He likes to be in charge so other dogs would have to be pretty submissive. He can be very protective but has never had any incidents with dogs or people. He is so sweet and his purpose in life is just to be loved and be with his people. He loves to run and play in his yard. He would really enjoy walks but needs leash training. He loves watching other animals on TV! He does not get on the furniture but loves his beds and crate. Mickey does have some food allergies but does fine on a grain-free salmon dog food. He will come with his crate.

Meet Luna, a playful and affectionate 4-year-old Pit Bowl, Corgi, German Shepherd mix seeking her forever home. My husband and I temporarily rescued her from a homeless woman in January. Luna does not like being alone and looking for someone/family that is not away from the house full time. This loyal and active dog also serves as a good alert dog. She's leash-trained and enjoys walks/runs but her true passion is playing fetch, making her ideal for an active owner who can provide at least one hour of daily exercise. If you are a runner, she would love to go with you! Her ball obsession and impressive leaps make playtime pure entertainment. While fairly easy to care for Luna, her exercise needs are paramount. As current caretakers who work full time and already have two golden retrievers that need our attention we're seeking the perfect match for Luna, even though we would love to keep her. We love her deeply and that love wants the best for her.

We think she may be a Pittie–Ridgeback mix, but whatever she is, she’s 100% adorable. Her nickname is “Wiggles” because she can’t help but shimmy with joy whenever she’s picked up. Twila is wonderful with other dogs and is already kennel-trained. Like any young puppy, she’s still working on perfecting her potty training, but she’s making great progress. She’s a quiet girl who rarely barks and sticks to chewing only her toys and bones. At the end of the day, Twila really just wants cuddles, attention, and a family to love.
