Story
We got him from a family friend. Born 10-02-2023. He needs someone who has time to play and walk around with him, he loves to cuddle and is very patient when getting bathed (as long as the water is warm). He’ll eat all day if you let him and is smart with interactive toys/meals. He knows how to sit, shake, wait and when given a bowl of food will wait till someone says bon appetite or motions with their hand to go ahead. He enjoys bully sticks and frozen treats/meals. Doesn't have too much experience on a leash and doesn't like getting his ears cleaned or nails trimmed. He’s never shown any signs of aggression. Never had any accidents indoors and is kennel trained.

Story
Aaliyah is a stunning beauty that we rescued from out of California after a family had an accidental litter. Both parent dogs are spayed and neutered and now it's time for the pups to find good homes. Aaliyah is a gregarious, outgoing, up for anything, confident puppy who is seeking an active adopter willing to put in the training, socialization, enrichment and exercise to fulfill her so she can grow into a well mannered adult dog. - Date of birth: 12/3/25 - 20 pounds on 2/19/26 and we expect she will be around 55-60 pounds fully grown. We cannot guarantee size at maturity but she will be a large breed dog. - We have photos of the parent dogs we are happy to share and believe Charcoal is likely a German Shepherd/Husky mix along with some other breeds. Both parent dogs are very sweet! - Playful, engaged and interactive with humans and other dogs. This girl is a social butterfly who loves everyone she meets and is happy to say hi and engage in play and cuddles. She really enjoys having other dogs willing to play with her! - Likely fine with cats since Aaliyah is so young. Her foster home has a cat that we will test her with further. - Adventure pup in the making! Aaliyah is smart, energetic and willing to tag along for anything. She will thrive with an owner willing to include her and invest in training to help capture all her brilliance and athleticism. - Working on crate training. She doesn't love it but is continuing to practice it because we know she will need the skill in the future. Holds her potty in the crate and sleeps in it overnight. - Doing good with potty habits and goes outside most of the time. Aaliyah is microchipped, has had two rounds of puppy vaccines, dewormed and current on flea/tick/heartworm prevention. Her adoption fee includes her spay surgery between 7-12 months of age at one of our partner veterinary clinics in SW Portland or Milwaukie. It also includes a free wellness exam at one of our partner veterinary clinics in Oregon City, Milwaukie, Portland or Tualatin. $200 adoption fee Fostered in Vancouver, Washington APPLY TO ADOPT AALIYAH ON OUR WEBSITE: WWW.AGAVEDOGS.ORG

Story
She originally came from Texas but I got her at 6 months from a couple after their other dog didn’t accept her. She is a sweetest girl who looooves people, the sunshine and cuddling up under the blankets. Making this decisions is very difficult for us. I don’t feel like she’s getting the life she deserves. Ellie has confidence issues after being attacked by a dog at a park twice. I have done countless hours of training and she does respond to some of the training well but I am a single working parent with two young boys and sadly don’t have the bandwidth to truly help her. Best situation- no other pets, older kids, someone that’s home a lot and loves to cuddle. She is crate trained. Hates car rides. Loves the vet (but not the nail trims). Will resource guard food from animals or small kids. Lives with an ederly cat now but hates the neighbors cat so not sure how’d she do. Trial period for good fit okay.

Story
Hello, my name is Paisley! I'm an athletic and curious young lady with a playful side. Though I'm not sure about other dogs just yet, I'm sure we can become best friends in no time. I'm kennel trained, and I'd prefer to be in a home with older kids since I sometimes get so excited that I jump up on people - I just can't help it! I also love to run around and explore, so I'll need a backyard or at least a long walking route. I can be a bit of a puller on walks, so I'd benefit from some training and a gentle lead. I'm always up for a game of fetch or a good chew session - I just can't choose toys that are not super strong! If you think you can keep up with my active lifestyle, we might be a perfect match. Come meet me today and see for yourself
