💔 Five Years Is Far Too Long 💔 Meet Pippi. Pippi is an 8-year-old, 47-pound sweetheart who has spent an unbelievable amount of her life waiting for someone to choose her. She has been in boarding since February 7, 2021. That's more than five years of watching other dogs leave while she stays behind. Despite everything, Pippi hasn't given up. She is a graduate of our Canine Good Citizen program and is one of the most well-trained dogs in our rescue. She knows sit, place, leave it, shake, and drop it. She loves her people, loves her toys, and absolutely lights up when a ball comes out. Pippi is fully house-trained and would thrive in a home where she can finally be part of a family. She adores her people and does well with male dogs, but she needs a home without female dogs or cats. Like many dogs who have spent years in a kennel environment, Pippi can get excited when she sees squirrels, cats, or bikes on walks. She has worked extensively with trainers and continues to make progress. What she really needs now is a chance to practice all those skills in a home of her own. Think about it. Since 2021, Pippi has watched seasons change, holidays come and go, puppies grow up, and hundreds of other dogs find families. Through it all, she has waited. And waited. And waited. Meet Pebbles Pebbles is a one-year-old sweetheart (as of February 2026) weighing in at about 40 lbs, and she’s the perfect mix of playful energy and loving affection. Like most young dogs, Pebbles is full of life—she loves attention, enjoys playtime, and is always eager to be by your side. She gets along great with other dogs and would likely thrive in a home with a canine companion. She hasn’t been around children or cats just yet, but we’re happy to arrange a cat test if needed to help find her perfect match. Pebbles is incredibly loving and eager to please, which makes her a wonderful candidate for continued training and bonding with her future family. Her housetraining is currently unknown since she’s staying in a boarding facility, but with consistency and a routine, she’s expected to catch on quickly. Tulip is the epitome of devotion and love; she is just waiting to give her all to someone and have her forever home. This love bug has been through a lot and still has nothing but tail wags and happiness for every human. She is fine around other dogs, but she will not take any disrespect from them. She is not good around cats unattended, but can be managed with them.She is house and crate trained, likes to spend her time lying back on her bed, waiting for her foster mom to have time to spend with her. She loves to cuddle and will join in on any activity to be with her human. She is good at walking on a leash, loves car rides, and would be a great go-everywhere girl.Tulip is fully vetted - current with all vaccines, spayed, microchipped, and on flea/tick andheartworm prevention.

Meet Bernie! She is a gorgeous 7 year old pit mix looking for her FUREVER home! She has such a love for life and a desire to give so much love to those she interacts with! We rescued Bernie after she found herself as a stray at the local shelter and was going to be euthanized. She has been spayed, is in on monthly flea/tick/HW preventative, and gets weekly baths. She is prone to lots of skin issues and as a result would do best in a home environment and not a boarding facility with a foster or owner that is very attentive. Bernie has never let this little bump in the road stop her from enjoying her newfound freedom. She loves baths, treats, chew bones and will tell you when it's time to feed her as she is extremely food motivated! Bernie is an active girl who loves to go on walks and play with any toy in sight! When it is time to relax for the day, you can find Bernie cuddled up next to her humans begging for belly rubs, or chewing on a bone. She is crate trained and does well staying by herself if kept occupied with toys, bones or kongs. She will thank you with a big smile and unwavering loyalty! She takes weekly outings in public, rides great in a car, and is doing great socializing and working on a leash. Hold on tight if you see a squirrel though! While she is highly allergic to cats and cannot be in a home with them, she loves kids and humans! She likes other dogs of all sizes but requires a slow introduction to any canine companion as she enjoys playing gregariously. This handsome 3-year-old American Pit Bull Terrier mix has a heart as big as his smile and loves nothing more than spending time with his favorite people.
