Story
Oh, Joey! He’s the perfect mix of sweet, smart, and silly. This water-loving guy loves splashing in the baby pool and chasing water from the hose. He adores other dogs and will need a canine companion in his forever home. Joey is highly food motivated, making training a breeze. He’s already potty trained, kennel trained, and knows how to “sit”, "lay down”, "spin" and “shake” on command! He is also doing great with leash training! Recently, he has found his love for cuddling and often squeezes himself onto the nearest lap just to be close. Joey is 9 1/2 months old and a mix of 21 different breeds. His top 4 breeds are 15% Alaskan Malamute, 13% Pit Bull, 12% Siberian Husky and 8% German Shepherd Dog. He currently weighs 48 lbs and is expected to weigh between 51-86 lbs when full grown. If you are interested in adopting Joey, please submit an application at www.rescuerowinc.org. *Due to his breed makeup, we will not be placing him in apartments.*Please check your junk email folder if you do not receive a response from a Rescue Row member within 48 hours. *You must live within an hour of the DFW Metroplex because we do trial adoptions and require a homecheck *Our adoption fees are as follows (paid by cash or a check made out to Rescue Row): Dogs 12 weeks-6 months old: $300 adoption fee  Dogs 7 months and older: $275 adoption fee  Rescue Row is a 501(c)3 (non-profit) all volunteer dog rescue organization serving the DFW Metroplex. We are dedicated to rescuing dogs in shelters, dogs in abusive or neglectful situations, and dogs surrendered by their owners because of difficult circumstances. We place dogs in loving, responsible, committed permanent homes, following a comprehensive adoption process, which includes taking considerable care in finding good matches and educating prospective adopters about the responsibilities and costs of bringing a dog into their homes and lives. Dogs in our care are spayed or neutered, microchipped, receive all appropriate veterinary care and treatment, and placed in nurturing foster homes while they await placement in their permanent homes. We assist dogs in distress without regard to age, breed or ease of placement. Dogs in the greatest need take priority. Finally, we strive to work with shelters and other rescue and humane organizations to develop a network of supporters and volunteers in order to create a better world for homeless dogs. ##2352027##

Story
Bobby has been thriving in his foster home, learning how to live in a home environment and gaining confidence along the way. He’s a smart boy who follows directions well, though he can be a little nervous when new people visit. If given time and space, he quickly realizes they’re not so scary. Bobby walks great on a leash but needs a slow, patient approach when meeting new people. This sweet, goofy boy has been through a lot. He and his five littermates were abandoned at a shelter at just three weeks old, where they were exposed to distemper. Only three survived, and Bobby was one of them. Now, after spending over two years in rescue, he’s still waiting for a place to call home. Bobby would do best in a home without young children, ideally with kids aged 10 and up. Bobby is a 2 1/2 year old Pit Bull/Heeler/German Shepherd/Husky mix. Due to his breed makeup, no apartments please. If you are interested in adopting Bobby, please submit an application at www.rescuerowinc.org. *Please check your junk email folder if you do not receive a response from a Rescue Row member within 2-4 business days. *You must live within an hour of the DFW Metroplex because we do trial adoptions and require a homecheck *Our adoption fees are as follows (paid by cash, Zelle, Venmo or a check made out to Rescue Row): Dogs 12 weeks-6 months old: $300 adoption fee  Dogs 7 months and older: $275 adoption fee  Rescue Row is a 501(c)3 (non-profit) all volunteer dog rescue organization serving the DFW Metroplex. Story
Travis was abandoned on the streets most of his life. Our vet estimated him to be 2 years old and he weighs 32 lbs. He loves his person and loves to play, but is fearful of men at first. Travis is crate and potty trained and would do well with an active person or a family with a canine friend. While he would love to play with the house cat, he knows the house cat does not want to play with him. We are requiring that if there are children in the home, that they are 16 years of age or older. Per Wisdom Panel he is a mix of 16 different breeds with the top 2 being 24% American Pit Bull Terrier and 18% Chihuahua. Story
Peter was set to be euthanized at Dallas Animal Services due to lack of space. I brought Peter home and learned he doesn’t get along with my dogs at all. He’s very territorial and very much a resource guarder when it comes to other animals. He attacked them and one had to go to emergency vet. He absolutely needs to be the only dog in the home. With that said, he’s a SUPER sweet and loving dog to people. He loves people and follows me around everywhere. He’s also a huge cuddler and would make someone who only wants one dog very happy.

Story
Look at this proud boy. He is the first to be awarded the Canine Good Citizen award through the rescue. He has shown his smarts and skills throughout the process and we are so proud of him! For the four months we worked with Nick on the Canine Good Citizen test items, he was quick and eager to learn. He passed his 10-challenge test with ease. Nick loves humans with his whole heart, has a somewhat obessive relationship with balls and a strong dislike of cats. He has healed physically from his past and continues to blossom in other aspects of life. He is so sweet and LOVES cuddles. Nick is a Velcro baby to his "person" and loves all humans in general. In turn, every human who meets Nick loves him. With proper intros, Nick has shown to do well with even tempered, playful dogs. This boy would love a family to call his own. Will you let this boy show you what a good, smart boy he is! He has waited far too long for his furever home. Nick can be a little unsure at first, but once he realizes he is in a safe place, he comes into his true loving and playful self. The right family would be so rewarded with Nick's presence in their lives. For more information, you can email adopt@dallasdogrrr.org. Story
Tater has been doing very well in his foster home since being returned to our care after four years. Over the past couple of weeks, we’ve gotten to know him again, and one thing is clear—he is an incredibly sweet and loving dog. Tater is well-behaved, quiet, and laid-back. He was returned because he began guarding his adopters from the other dog in the home, whom he had lived with since puppyhood. We offered to send a trainer, but after learning they had moved to Ohio, it became clear that long-distance support wouldn’t be an option. Given how long this behavior has gone unaddressed, we believe Tater would do best as an only dog. That said, Tater enjoys going on walks, does well on a leash, and is not reactive to other dogs. He loves people, including children, and is both house trained and crate trained. Tater is a 4 1/2 year old English Bulldog/Pit Bull mix. If you’re interested in meeting or adopting him, apply at www.rescuerowinc.org. *Please check your junk email folder if you do not receive a response from a Rescue Row member within 2-4 business days.*You must live within an hour of the DFW Metroplex because we do trial adoptions and require a homecheck*Our adoption fees are as follows (paid by cash or a check made out to Rescue Row):Dogs 12 weeks-6 months old: $300 adoption feeDogs 7 months and older: $275 adoption feeRescue Row is a 501(c)3 (non-profit) all volunteer dog rescue organization serving the DFW Metroplex.
