Story
Autumn is a delightful one-year-old pit mix with a dash of dachshund charm, weighing in at a cuddly 30 pounds. This sweet little ball of energy is full of life and loves to play! She has a playful spirit and enjoys romping around, but her favorite pastime is snuggling up with her humans for some quality cuddle time. Autumn gets along with some dogs, though she can be a bit particular about her canine friends. However, her love for people knows no bounds-she adores everyone she meets! She's spayed, up to date on her vaccinations (rabies, distemper, and Bordetella), and heartworm negative, making her a healthy and happy companion ready for her forever home. If you're looking for a playful and affectionate friend, Autumn is eager to fill your days with joy and love!

Story
Phoebe is the sweetest, snuggliest, happiest dog I've ever met. Her tail is always wagging a mile a minute whenever you are with her. She loves meeting new people, cuddling, and going for walks. She is very well behaved even when left alone for hours while at work. She knows sit, stay, lay down, shake, and is house broken & crate trained. She's a low/medium energy level dog (gets excited when someone walks into the house, but she calms downs after 10-15 minutes). She has never destroyed anything besides stuffed animals with squeaky toys. She is a big fan of playing tug of war with people. She does not mind being picked up or handled by vets. I adopted her a few weeks ago, but unfortunately I am unable to keep her because she does not like my other dog. She needs to live in a house without other pets. She is still well behaved on our walks even though she is unsure of some dogs. She typically ignores them, although she may occasionally bark back at a dog that barks at her.

Story
Parsley's story: Parsley's life had a sad beginning; he spend the first 9 months of his life in a small kennel, many of his basic needs denied to him. This poor guy was sold on Craigslist for $50, spent three years with his last owner, then was surrendered to us. Parsley needed a human(s) who won't let him down like all the others had.  Parsley loves to play with other dogs, and throws his weight around (all 75lbs.) when playing, so a dog with a similar play style would be most compatible, although he can be submissive as well.  Parsley is potty trained, crate trained and knowns lots of tricks: Look, Leave It, Come, Sit, Down, Place, and more. He is highly intelligent and food motivated, which makes training easy. We know the right home is out there, and we are committed to finding that special someone/family who can give him everything he needs for a happy life.  Are you the perfect forever home for Parsley? Gender: Male Spayed/neutered: Yes Weight: 75 lbs. Vaccines: Rabies, Distemper, Bordetella Heartworm results: Negative Lyme results: Negative Allergies: None Special needs: Needs slow introductions Likes & dislikes: Loves ropes and stuffed animals, making blanket forts  Adoption fee: $200.00  To Apply: 1) Print adoption application here:   https://staffordspca.org/wp-content/uploads/2018/04/Stafford_SPCA_Adoption_Application_Adoption-Process-04182018.pdf 2) Email to adopt@staffordspca.org OR Fax to 866-522-8042. Please see our website for details on our adoption process, and feel free to email with any questions about the process or about the pet you're interested in. Home visits required and dog adoptions often do require structural fencing. (We make decisions regarding the fencing requirement on a dog-by-dog basis, according to the dog's exercise needs and energy level.)  Stafford SPCA does not condone the exclusive use of invisible fencing.   We reserve the right to deny placement of puppies and kittens into homes with children under 5 years old. Story
Maize's story: Give Maize a toy and he will be entertained for hours! This fun-loving boy has a lot of personality and just as much love to give! Despite a less than ideal start in life, Maize has flourished in our care and is now ready to find that special someone! Maize can be easily described as a dynamic dog, that likes to engage in zoomies and serious sessions of tug to burn energy. He would be perfect for someone with a moderately active lifestyle! This handsome boy has your quintessential big pitty head, that you will just love to pet! This friendly boy is working on his manners but loves everyone he meets! His heart is probably bigger than his head. We haven't had a chance to see Maize with children, so we we would want to make sure small kids were respectful and interactions were monitored. When it comes to other canines, Maize is a monogamous mutt who'd like an exclusive relationship with you! At the end of the day, he wants what every dog wants: a safe, comfortable home where he can be loved. Are you the perfect forever home for Maize?
