Story
We took Penny in after she was dropped off at a friends house in September. We think she is a pitbull/cattledog mix and around 7 months old. She is up to date on all shots but not spayed yet. She is around 35 pounds now and growing fast. As she gets bigger she seems to not realize her size and is too energetic when playing with our other small dog. Penny’s ideal home would include a securely fenced yard where she can run and play to burn off her energy. She loves to play fetch and run around with her toys. She would do best in a single-dog household or with larger dogs, as her playful nature might be too much for small or older dogs. A home without cats or other small pets is recommended, and while she hasn’t been around children yet, her sweet nature suggests she would do well with them once she adjusts. She is crate trained and sleeps through the night and potty trained. She does ok on a leash but does pull a bit at first. She is super sweet, goofy and loves to cuddle.

Story
Meet Little Ladle! She is an adorable "pocket pittie" at about 40 pounds. Ladle has been living in a loving home for the last few years but unfortunately, her older dog sibling has become intolerant of her. This has led to Ladle being bullied by him and needing to be rehomed to a place where she can be safe and happy. Ladle is a goofy girl with a funny personality. She is always making us laugh with her silly, playfulness. She loves to go on walks, but also loves cuddling with her "people." She will do best in a home where she can get regular exercise (20-30 min walks on most days). Ladle does have some separation anxiety so she will need a household that can work on this with her. She is not good with younger children and would not do well with cats. It's undetermined if she would be good with other dogs after her recent bad experiences with her sibling. She is an incredibly sweet girl who will be a great companion. She has a LOT of love to give.

Story
Big heart, wagging tail, and a lifetime of love to give—Boy Wonder is ready to be your new best friend! Wonder is about 4 years old and 45 lbs. He is house and kennel trained to perfection! We believe he is a pitbull but we do not know his family tree to be certain of his breed mix. Wonder is very people friendly and enjoys making new friends everywhere he goes. He has never met a stranger! Sometimes he does the cutest little hello howl. Wonder is very people motivated and will quickly become your best friend and shadow. He makes for a great errand buddy when you have to drive or walk around. He is so go with the flow and down to do anything with you. Wonder is very smart and learning commands fast! He is picking up on his leash skills nicely too. Wonder would prefer a home with a backyard as he likes to trot around and smell everything. He has a very silly goofy personality that will always keep you laughing. One thing that makes us laugh the most is that he likes to rub his face and body against you just like a cat does! Unfortunately though, cats are a no for this boy. That’s okay though because he has so much more to offer! Wonder likes his doggie friends, especially his little pal Ruby. He loves puppies! He is very tolerant when she pulls and tugs on him. He is also very tolerant with people and very trusting. Wonder would make a great family dog! He thoroughly enjoys his kennel and will frequently nap in the kennel or right on your lap on the couch! He is a big couch or bed potato and loves to snuggle up given the opportunity. Wonder is a quieter dog and doesn’t make much noise. He is great about letting you know when he has to potty! He loves his outside time so we believe he would make for a really good adventure companion. He likes his walks, enjoys sunbathing and trips to the beach! He hasn’t yet fully accepted the water but he just might! Wonder is a very sweet boy with a very large heart. He is searching for the perfect family to call his own. Are you that family? Do you have an abundance of love to give? If so, apply now or you might regret it!❤️ Application link: https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/62cc8e128b02916730334440/67a2887621136b37210aab15 Please email katiak@threelittlepittiesrescue.org with any questions. You can join along on our private Facebook event page to follow their adventure, connecting you with other adopters and providing updates throughout their transport journey! You will get to meet your new pup over a video call before signing paperwork, creating a fun and personalized adoption experience! The adoption fee is $550 and includes all vetting (DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, a 12 month heartworm preventative injectible, heartworm test and treatment if needed, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar, a health certificate deeming the pup healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and priceless years of love and loyal companionship! We have over 15,000 successful adoptions so far and have excellent Google Reviews: https://g.co/kgs/UQ5Pyai We care deeply about making the perfect match between dog and family for long term success. Our rescue has a 2 acre property in Texas where we assess every animal with trainers on staff, we modify behavior as needed, and create individualized behavior plans to help prepare dogs for their future families including crate training, potty training, leash walking, etc. Our fosters are able to attend group trainings and socialization play groups to keep dogs adoption-ready. Our on-site trainers support the positive growth of our dogs and we enjoy seeing their progress! Our commitment to comprehensive medical care sets us apart. We've received glowing feedback from veterinarians who commend our dedication to ensuring the health and well-being of every animal in our care with treatments that often go above and beyond. Our adoption fees reflect the extensive care and resources that go into each animal we save. The adoption fee is a donation to the mission and goes far beyond getting a fully vetted pet. The rescue’s hard costs alone (excluding transport) for a healthy dog to go through our program typically range between $412 to $859, which includes boarding, food, medications, vaccines, and spay/neuter. For heartworm-positive dogs, hard costs are upwards of $1,368. Additionally, dogs requiring extended boarding, extra training, or extra medical care—such as dental work, vision care, or orthopedic care—can lead to expenses running into the thousands. Also, included in the adoption fee are costs to cover transport up to the Pacific Northwest or East Coast. Transport is a significant additional expense to the rescue. While adoption fees help cover part of these expenses, we want to emphasize that the rescue does not receive government funding and must fundraise to offset the remaining expense balance which ranges $100-1,000++ per animal on these direct costs. It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these SPECIAL PERKS: Extensive behavioral testing and information from trainers on our staff to ensure the perfect fit for your family Discounts on Embark DNA test kit- $30 off of Breed ID test & $50 off of Breed ID plus Health test 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion A free private online dog training session with GoodPup, plus low pricing for future sessions 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a delicious PNW based fresh dog meatballs subscription Coupons for a fun visit to Petco 20% off of Dr. Cuddles pet first aid and hygiene solutions Discounted heartworm, flea prevention, and monthly dewormer Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! Story
Looking for a loyal best friend to keep you laughing even on the toughest days? Snoh Paige might just be your girl! This ridiculous little ball of moxie and tail wags might be a pit bull / lab mix, but with rescue we're seldom sure. What we DO know for sure is that she's 100% bestie material! Snoh adores the company of people. She will happily crawl into your lap for snuggles and tender affection. The way she sinks her weight into you will just melt your heart. She's so trusting and loving. But don't think for one moment that cuddling is the only skill she's mastered; Snoh loves play time! She's a little ball of energy who runs zoomies like a true pro. She especially loves tug of war and wrestling with other puppies or even big, adult dogs. Her current favorite toy is a stuffed whale, but she's not picky--she makes all toys fun! This social pup has experience living with other dogs and would fit right in with a family that already has furry companions. But if you’re looking for your one-and-only pet, she has the confidence to thrive without other dogs in the home. Snoh would love to be part of a whole family of humans or to be the center of attention for her one special person. She loves all people. (Although she's a little shy in the vet's office!) This smart, treat-motivated girl is wonderfully trainable! She is already making amazing progress on house training. When she needs to go out, she stands at the door to let you know. She'll even bark if no one lets her out quickly enough. She is respectful of non-toys in the house as long as she has bones and toys to choose from. If she tries something that's not allowed, she's easy to redirect with a fun toy, some exciting movement, or a treat. She sleeps happily all night, safe in her crate. Just a few months old, Snoh needs someone who will continue to train her and expose her to new people and places. This brave girl dreams of joining you for all sorts of adventures: walking in the neighborhood, trips to the park or the beach, or just errands around town. Whatever you're doing, she wants to join you! She needs either a fenced yard or an active family who will take her for lots of walks and play with her a few times each day. And when the excitement is over, Snoh wants to curl up with you on the rug or the sofa. This sweet and feisty girl is the perfect mix of playful and cuddly. Will you be the lucky person to welcome her into your home? Meet Oliver! He is currently 3 months old, and we think he may be a Pit Bull / Lab mix, but with rescue it’s always a guess! This puppy is from a part of the US where puppies are regularly euthanized. So, this puppy needs you! If you choose a puppy from this rescue, it saves their life AND it also allows us to save the life of another in its place. Watch Oliver's video here: https://youtu.be/fS_myDutD48?feature=shared Oliver is playful, sweet, curious, and cuddly. He loves to play and then take lots of naps. Eat, sleep, play, repeat - such is puppy life! Oliver is still young so he will need a family that can commit to training, socialization and all the dedication puppyhood requires. Oliver's new family will need to continue with potty and crate training and daily exercise. We require a commitment from adoptive families to crate train their new puppy. When old enough, they will be perfect to go on walks and hikes or show off around your neighborhood. You will be guaranteed to get lots of kisses in return from your new best friend! Story
This infectiously happy guy is named Mack! Mack is the life of the party- a friend to all, and a force of positivity and hilarity. He’s a great adventure dog, a snugglebug, kid-friendly, and dog-friendly! We think Mack is a Lab, Pittie mix, just under two years old. He is a rescue, so these are just our best guesses! Mack currently weighs in at a highly huggable 55 pounds. Fall in love with Mack here: https://youtu.be/5BIHSA5kw7s?si=fnjQvf_dgcFWVJQz Mack is a fun-loving guy, but he knows when to chill too. He soaks up attention with so much gratitude. This sweet boy is ready to adore, and be adored by you. Mack is a big softie, he thinks he is the perfect lap dog, funny enough. If you’re down for a big goofy guy to smother you with his love, you can go ahead and stop the search right now. Trust me! Mack also has a very playful personality. He loves all of his toys, playing catch, and his daily zoomies. Mack can either turn on his high energy playful side or enjoy chilling on the couch snuggling with his blankets. When Mack is ready to go to bed he walks to his kennel, opens the door, walks in and closes it behind him. His foster family says they always know when he is ready for bed! How cute is that?! Mack is great with kids, and kids are great with Mack! Mack has a childlike wonder for the world, and it feels like kids see that in him. He’s best friends with a two year old and a four year old, and watching them interact is truly heartwarming. His foster says that Mack spends a lot of time with their mom who is 67 and he has become her best friend. He is good at "reading the room". When it's time to play, he is all in, but when it's time for her to get her rest, he has no problem joining her on the couch. Mack was born to be a family dog, and he’s so ready to meet his forever family. Mack is a total socialite, he does great with humans in any environment. His foster family regularly takes him out and about, and he does really well in public! He’s easy in the car, great on leash, and friendly with everyone that he meets- a total “go anywhere dog.” Mack is currently fostered in a home with two other dogs, he gets along well with both! Mack’s playstyle is very “life of the party,” so we think he would do best in a home with another rambunctious player, that won’t mind a game of chase, or romping around the yard together. Mack’s energy level generally can be described as medium to high energy, he has an exuberance for life and a natural optimism that will fill even your gloomiest days with laughter and excitement. Mack also enjoys his playtime with us humans, he loves to play with toys, and he’s a great fetch player! With all of that love for life, Mack also has a great ability to learn. He knows a handful of commands already, and he’s very food motivated. He is working with a professional trainer with his foster! He is working on walking off leash with great recall, and he is fantastic at place! He will be an enjoyable and rewarding dog to train further! Mack’s foster family brags that this smart boy is already crate and potty trained, he picked it up quickly. He had great house manners too! Mack is a gentle guy, he doesn’t destroy his toys, so no mess in your home! He loves treats, and adores his Kong. He also loves footballs and soccer balls so some would say he is a sports fans DREAM! Imagine a life where even your dog wants to play your favorite sport with you. He is such a dream! He is a fetch super star, so get ready to have the best days of your life laughing and giggling with him. Honestly, we don’t know how he could get any better! Mack’s ideal home has a backyard for him to zoom in, maybe another doggy sibling or two (his size or larger) and dog savvy older kids, that will know how to play with his big, goofy pittie energy. He would fit in perfectly with folks who enjoy the great outdoors, going for hikes, or maybe even a road trip to some state and national parks! He could even have his picture taken in each of them as a souvenir. Come to think of it, I don’t think there’s a better one than that! Mugs and magnets could never compare to that cuteness! Mack does request that we not force him to live with any kitties! We think Mack would make an excellent family dog, but we do recommend kids ten and up for him. We are willing to test Mack with anything you may need to ensure that he is a perfect fit for your family, home and life. We can make most anything happen. Just let us know! The rescue’s hard costs alone for a healthy dog to go through our program typically range between $412 to $859, which includes boarding, food, medications, vaccines, and spay/neuter. For heartworm-positive dogs, hard costs are upwards of $1,120. Additionally, dogs requiring extended boarding, extra training, or extra medical care—such as dental work, vision care, or orthopedic care—can lead to expenses running into the thousands. Also, included in the fee are costs to cover transport up to the Pacific Northwest or East Coast. While adoption fees help cover part of these expenses, we want to emphasize that Three Little Pitties Rescue is not government funded. It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these SPECIAL PERKS: ● Extensive behavioral testing and information from trainers on our staff to ensure the perfect fit for your family ● Discounts on Embark DNA test kit- $30 off of Breed ID test & $50 off of Breed ID plus Health test ● 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion ● A free private online dog training session with GoodPup, plus low pricing for future sessions ● 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a delicious PNW based fresh dog meatballs subscription ● Coupons for a fun visit to Petco ● 20% off of Dr. Cuddles pet first aid and hygiene solutions ● Discounted heartworm, flea prevention, and monthly dewormer ● Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! Did you know that the Greater Houston area faces some of the highest stray and overpopulation rates in the nation? We are a non profit charity. Our goal is simple— to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and by rescuing animals from the streets or overcrowded shelters where euthanasia due to lack of space is often the only option. The dog you've found online is not only lucky to be in our program, but also incredibly fortunate to have caught your eye. Thank you for considering adoption and for joining us in our mission! Follow our rescue journey and connect with us on our website and social media platforms. Together, we can make a difference, one adoption at a time. https://www.threelittlepittiesrescue.org/ https://www.facebook.com/threelittlepittiesrescue https://www.instagram.com/threelittlepittiesrescue Ready to welcome a new furry friend into your life?
