Bindi is a sweet, playful, and loving puppy who may have had a unique start to life, but she doesn't let anything hold her back! After being transferred from Winnebago County following an injury, Bindi has become a tripod, but this hasn't slowed her down one bit. Full of energy and joy, she’s ready to share her heart with her forever family.
While Bindi is still learning the ropes of life, she is a true puppy at heart—wild, clumsy, and full of love. She loves to play, but she’s still working on understanding when older dogs aren’t in the mood for playtime. She would thrive in a home with a dog who enjoys playtime, as it would help boost her confidence. A dog buddy who is open to play would be an ideal match for her!
Bindi is crate-trained and is still perfecting her potty training, which may have been impacted by her recent surgery. She’s making progress, and with patience and love, she’ll continue to improve. Though Bindi is a big chewer, she sticks to her bones, bully sticks, and Greenies—not household items—so she’s easy to keep entertained and content. She does enjoy a playful nibble but she understands when you say “No, ouch, and no bites.”
Despite her wild side, Bindi is the ultimate snuggler! She loves sleeping in the bed, especially with her favorite human, a 5-year-old boy. There's nothing she loves more than being close to her family and soaking up all the love and human touch she can get. Her eyes are incredibly expressive—those little "human eyes" make it clear exactly how she’s feeling, and it’s easy to get attached to her sweet face and personality.
Bindi's spirited and affectionate nature shines through, proving that no challenge is too big when you have a heart full of love.
